A co worker gave me this ATT unlocked LG Optimus G that he has royally screwed up.
When you turn on wifi it goes into a constant reboot (also does this in airplane mode)
When the sim card is installed an error keeps flashing something android process has stopped.
What i gathered from the conversation is that he rooted it and deleted stuff and then tried to do a factory reset.
He never put a custom rom on it.
I managed to get the get the apk for CRM and put it on the phone using the bluetooth .
NOw when you open the ap it wants to install the recovery manager.Problem is that there is no internet
any suggestions?
I am trying to get this phone in working order
Thanks
Does it still have IMEI?

Yes it does
Try to reflash original KDZ for your phone
Is there a link you can point me to on how to do this without being able to boot into recovery?

Can you still boot to download mode?
Yes

Follow the steps and the link in the description.
Just remember to use the LATEST KDZ for your LG G. Charge phone to 100% before doing the procedures. Good luck

For E970 AT&T the procedure is different to E975, follow this Tutorial:

So, I am a victim of the McAfee killswitch. I rooted my phone, then unlocked bootloader, but I made a mistake and had to flash kdz. For some reason, the kdz i downloaded was locked in mcaffee, so i really struggled but managed to install twrp, and of course root. The phone worked fine for a long time, but then I messed up and got a bootloop. The thing is, my killswitch is engaged now, so I can't just go into TWRP and wipe, or go into download mode. Both locked. And if i try to boot normally I just get the loop... So my questions are: Is there a way to get into TWRP directly (without having to confirm, phone could reboot to recovery just fine). Or just flash kdz, i don't know, anything. ADB shows device offline and sometimes unathorized, fastboot doesn't detect it. LG service said it will only fixed if i replace everything. Any help?
Sounds like you need togoba I to stock using lg flash tool

Try using the kHz method if your computer will reconize your phone. Use LG flashtool 2014 it will put your phone in download mode for you

Kdz
How will it put my phone into download mode? If i click start, it says the phone is not connected to the computer. My computer can see the device as ADB device, but only offline or unauthorized.
When I used it my phone was stuck on the LG screen. Flashtool found my device and started the upgrade then it booted my phone into download mode
That does not work for me.. The program is stuck at 60% and telling me phone is not connected.
The only other option I can think of would be to a hard factory reset. Make sure your phone is off then hold down power and volume down together when the LG logo appears keep holding them. It should take you to that menu
I already said I can't go into recovery like that, because there is a killswitch activated on my phone.

I guess it will be very hard to flash KDZ or TOT cause you need to put your phone to download mode or need to connect ADB. following the post.

Fixed the issue. You can use spflash tool to unbrick it. Don't forget to install all drivers for the tool. You may need to use workaround to install drivers as most of them are unsigned.
Hi guys, please help me i need some assist here.
the chronologies:
- please note that my realme 3 is unlocked and twrp installed (but blank when i reboot into twrp)
- i start the step with unlock tool (in-depth test) apk, install it on the phone, and trying to tap the button "apply to exit in-depth test" but not working with message that i should go to fastboot directly.
- then i run the adb, and reboot the device to fastboot (adb reboot bootloader)
- in the fastboot mode, i run the command fastboot flashing lock, then choose to lock the bootloader on the phone screen
- the phone screen asking for reboot to fastboot, recovery, or normal, here i cant move the arrow to choose one of them
- so i reboot the phone by pushing the power button
- the realme logo is show up, then continue to "charging overtime" warning
- i try to reboot to fastboot, but it fail. try to reboot recovery with the power button + vol combination, the screen still show the warning with a little "recovery mode" text on the bottom left of the screen.
- i connect the phone via USB, but nothing detected or happen
- i do not know, what can i do to solve this problem, so please help me to resolve this problem
here i attach the charging overtime warning screen photo.
thank you in advance,
best regards.

If it's in warranty then go to realme service centre.
Have same problem it's free in warranty no matters if you unlock and relock bootloader it can be done in 5 mins in service centre but out of warranty may costs you larger amount of Rs.1700 in service centre but it can be done by online flashing in Rs.1200 in your local stores but their is a risk of emmc damage realme 3 PINOUT are very critical.
Recommend you to realme service centre.

For "charging overtime" error
Some people got "charging overtime" error after relocking bootloader with third party recovery.
Do not do this mistake.
Finally there is a solution for this. U have to flash ur phone on EDL mode.thats all and finally ur phone will boot up.

How to go to EDL mode?
I think EDL mode can be enabled through recovery. And my phone is not going to recovery !
Plz reply ASAP
There are many ways to access EDL mode.
- You have to install mtk drivers on ur PC first, then switch off your phone and connect to pc simultaneously pressing vol+- key .
You can see at device manager there is a mtk device connected.
If u have any problem then contact me. I am happy to help u.

I think XDA Forum is completely dead now. They no longer replay nor have solutions to provide.
i am waiting for atleast 1/2 month for "Charging overtime" error, but getting no help from here.
i Tried myself to fix this but was unable to do so.
Then i visited the realme center and they told me that u need to change the motherboard(costs Rs. 7000).
Now i bricked my device ! lol
Bro... Do u think with the help of SP flash tool we can make our device normal?
