hi,
i have googled a bit , but apart from the Odin-flashable tar.md5 file , i was unable to find a proper .zip file to use.
i am still trying to find a .zip file because even using the adb commands (both from recovery and from normal mode), the Stock ROM files pulled out is still missing of some parts, and they don't allow me to proceed to develop a MIUI ROM for the N7505 :crying:
FEEL. the same sammy Galaxy S4 .everything all lined up and still hav lock out.OMG.

Thanks but i need the entire build, not just the up date. I lost my MAC and IMEI and the full firmware is my only way of fixing it, i think

That should be what you need, I came from a test build for Nash and used the FlashAll zip (RET specifically) from that site to take me all the way back to stock., Hence why each zip is ~3GB uncompressed.

There should be a NON_HLOS.bin in that folder, if im not mistaken a fastboot command posted here should fix that, but i should mention that i have not done this myself and can not vouch for it. maybe someone else has a more (for a lack of a better word) trusted way to fix your issue

I'm having the same issue. I've downloaded every 2+gb zipped XT1789-04 factory reset zip I can get my hands on. It says it's flashing a modem, but I still get no baseband when I go into fastboot. no wifi or cell signal. I've tried the commands linked above after flashing. If someone has a solution I'd be eternally grateful.

Thanks but NO GO .
I ran into this problem attempting to root the latest Oreo OCX27.1 and got into a bootloop. The only Oreo firmware available to download isis the previous OCX27 and I believe that downgrading to that causes the lost of baseband and imei. I am waiting to see when OCX27.1 will be available to download so I can try to return to stock to 27.1 see if it restores my baseband
The problem i am seeing is that none of the stock firmware are for ocx27.1. they are all for ocx27. i have seen an ota update that is for the ocx27.1 but i have not figured out how to extract it yet

So I downloaded the stock 7.0 firmware from a link here on XDA. Upon opening the .rar file i was presented with multiple files and I am not sure which one I am supposed to flash. Here is a pic of all the files I have. Just click on the link below. Can someone tell me which one I am supposed to use to flash my phone back to stock android.
https://ibb.co/kFc5Ed
ok so I select the files for AP CP BL and Home_CSC like it said o do to make sure I get the binary. But it keeps failing when it starts to write new Firmware. I just need to get to stock firmware on this phone. Can someon Please help me figure out how to do this.
Please forgive me for being so basic but here goes. I rooted via chainfire my Sm-N910p. Somehow I completly wiped the OS off the phone. So now It has been a challenge of trying to figure out which Firmware I can load to at least get back to a starting point. Every firmware I download odin fails. If anybody has a suggestion as to how reload the firmware. I am not sure which marshmallow I last updated too.
Like I said I am very basic but I follow directions very well. I tried searching so I woudnt have to bother you with my foolishness. Any help is deeply appreciated.
There are stock ROM's available for download within this subsection of XDA. You should be able to pretty easily flash one with ODIN. If you've been having issues, make sure you have the correct Samsung driver package installed to your PC.
Try downloading the PK1 ROM file from this thread .... https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...tock-deodexed-debloated-pk1-12-11-16-t3517454
Then using Assayyed Kitchen you can unpack the ZIP file and rebuild it easily into an ODIN compatible .tar package.
Here's a link to Assayyed Kitchen.... https://forum.xda-developers.com/ch...-android-roms-editor-assayyedkitchen-t3410545
If you don't want to go through the trouble of using Assayyed Kitchen to convert a ZIP to a .tar file, look for a ROM that's already .tar format.
Here's a link to some downloads for ODIN https://androidmtk.com/download-samsung-stock-rom
And here's a link to flashing the ROM once it's downloaded.... https://androidmtk.com/flash-samsung-stock-rom-using-odin
I hope this helps a little!!
Good Hello Everyone,
I rooted my SM-G985F but the camera stopped working and I don't know what caused it! Some users report theirs is working. Can you help me narrow it down or even fix this issue?
I patched AP TBM with MAGISK 72f6770d and then with 7z, I replaced the kernel with this one flashed all files in odin. And it seems like I have root, although only magisk modules worked so far from what I tested like @geiti94 said because of limitations of only read. Yeah only downside for me, I can't use the camera.
Did I used a old version of Magisk?
Did I replaced the kernel the wrong way?
Is it because my device is 4G?
thanks for help.
its because you used a kernel from another phone model.
instead, extract "virgin" boot.img.lz4 from ap file, tar it up and send to phone, patch in magisk and flash from odin.

Oh Dude someone replied! Should I do it like this:
extract with 7z or RAR the boot.img file from a clean/stock AP file.
tar it up? What does that mean? just change the file extension? Just renaming it? Or is a different process?
and then just the boot.img via odin in AP slot or whole firmware?
sorry I know many noob questions...
But thanks so far.
