Hello good people,
I have one question.
I have ordered automatic clamping wireless charger stand for my car. It includes fast wireless charging and needs to be powered by USB in order for the stand's arms to open and close. I also have a few magnetic phone stands in my house and the other car and have the metal plate glued to my phone's back cover. Since our phone (Galaxy A50) doesn't include wireless charging and the stand has wireless charging and I have a metal backplate on my phone, what exactly would happen if I put my phone on this stand?
Will it overheat or something?
All answers are welcome. Thank You in advance!
Your A51 is plastic, nothing will happen
Edit: A50 I ment

I just got my girlfriend a Tab 3 7.0 and there are a lot of options already set up for wireless charging. The biggest downfall is, on this model anyway, you need to buy a new back cover that is set up for NFC charging. And you must purchase the wireless charging device. I saw a nice cover with the back cover built in as well.
I do not know what all is out and ready for purchase as of now but it should not be long.
A quick Google search will bring you a lot of results.

I am not finding anything in Google searches, but perhaps I'm looking for the wrong thing. I searched for the terms Galaxy Tab 3 Wireless Charging (and variations of that) and no luck, aside for a few things for the 10 inch version. Have you found one that you like, and would you mind providing a link? I'd really like to get that set up (I also have the Tab 3 7.0). Thanks in advance.
Yes, you can...
You need a tiny piece which you can stick to the back of your tablet or the cover. Search for this on Google or eBay, and it's called "NFC wireless charging adaptor" or "wireless charging receiver".
For example, it's something like this: goo.gl/LEf0vO
---------- Post added at 08:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:11 PM ----------
Here I have found another one, so you can either buy from the link or you get an idea, before you buy that wireless charging dock
The link: goo.gl/DVRYAC
I'm also looking for a GTab 3 8" wireless charging solution.
Found this so far:
High Quality 3 Coils Qi Wireless Charger Plate+ Receiver For Samsung Galaxy Tab 8" tablet Power Chargers
Might try this, but the "Tail" might not be long enough. There does not seem to be an internal/built in solution for the GTabs. I don't know if there even are contacts for an internal receiver.
DigiYes® Widespread Ultra Slim Micro USB Wireless Charging Receiver Module
All I need is that adapter, should work with a PowerBot.
So I just got my LG G3 and from looking through the forums I have gotten the impression that that at&t version(which what I now have) had its wireless charging taken out from its back. So I have looked through to see what the back should look like for qi wireless charging and have compared it to my back and it looks the same. I may be just ignorant so I just wanted to see if anyone would know if my back supports wireless qi charging.
That just has NFC.
If it had charging it would have 4 pins on the case. 2 for NFC and then 2 for charging.

I've attached a picture of the EU version that supports QI, this has 4 connectors on the backside, I haven't seen the version that you have before, not even at the press conference
None EU don't have the wireless charging back

No - EU has QI as standart, this is why its a little thicker in spec.
In EU you have the choise between 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB.
This is from a mail i recieved from LG (translated from Danish):
Dear LG ambassador
*
We have just been informed about new information on the LG G3. The new info is that the thickness and weight of LG G3 has been updated. The new thickness is 9.3mm and a weight of 153.7 g (previously: 8.9 mm and 149g.)
The change is due to QI being standart in EU models
Never used one before...anyone have any experience with the magnetic chargers such as Znaps? Curious if they're even worth it for protecting the seemingly always delicate phone charging ports. Let me know y'alls opinions and if you have any recommended ones or not, please. Thanks.
I have a couple that are micro USB and they worked great on my V10.
I wished they had USB-C for the V20. Had to buy several Anker USB-C to Micro USB adapters...kind of defeats the purpose though.
Here is a photo taken with the LG V20 of the Wisken Magnetic Cable with the Anker adapter

The adapter doesn't look like it lays flat like the picture implies...you have links to buy them?
Does this adapter support data transfer and fast charging?
EDIT: nevermind...I get it...didnt realize it was the same person posting the pic, lol.

To answer your question...
I know that fast charging and data transfer works with this combo.
I'm not sure at what speed.

Yeah, I saw the Amazon one...pointless, IMO...
Also saw the Indiegogo one from last year but can't seem to find a way to buy them anywhere...
Didnt see the reddit post but glad to see its been a topic of interest for a while.
Looks like I wait until someone comes up with a better one of some sort...
The intent of this post was more/less looking for people's experience and opinion with them to see if they're even worth it...thanks!

Found 'em!
I went into my FireFox history because I found them a couple of weeks ago.
ASAP x-connect Indiegogo, USB-C cable(and micro USB and Lightning)
ASAP Connect Indiegogo, V1(micro USB and Lightning)
I hd a few of those shown in post 3, gave them away, but somehow I found 4 extra magnetic tips, also have this one,
I was originally backer on the Znaps (which was truly the first one I saw doing it)
Then they scrapped the micro usb and released only lightning adapter and then scrapped USB C so I backed out.
https://znaps.net/
Problem with znaps, they are too expensive, for the price of snaps you can get the 5 of the chinese one's, even the znaps is made in china.
but if you do use a case, these won't work out, they wont fit, you have to remove the case to charge.

Yep, it was a kickstarter and it was MUCH cheaper then @ $9 when I joined
I have used the same old charge pads that I used too, and none of them work.
Does anyone have a combo that works, and could link them or help me out? Please..
TIA

Wait? Why are you looking for wireless charging pads for a phone that doesn't have wireless charging?
A50 does not support wireless charging. You need a glass back for wireless charging to be possible. The A50 has a plastic back.

Not quite right. It just can't be metal. Plastic works for wireless charging, but the A50 doesn't have wireless charging built in. (You need a charging coil for that.)
There are charging coils you can connect to the charging port to add wireless charging to a phone. I suppose the original question is if anyone knows of any of these that work with the A50.
Here's an example: Link (Don't know if this works with A50 by the way.)
Yeah I've seen those before, been thinking about getting one myself but I'd probably just break it lol, plus I'd like to take my case of now n then

No reason why it wouldn't work though... Unless you had a metal case... Which you most likely don't, but plastic is finee for wireless charging.

If you have never added wireless charging to a phone, thats OK, especially if you are new.
If you read that I looking for a combo that worked, it might become apparent that there is something going here you might not now about.
Laughing at me because because I was short and to the point, doesn't really help. Nor liking your own post too..
So its quite possible to add charging to this phone. Any phone. You add a coil with your charge socket type, and add it to your device. Place on a charge pad, and you are away.
Just so you know...

I liked my own post? Can you even do that?
Also, if you read my other comment you'll see that I was aware you can do this and have thought about in the past ?
It just wasn't clear what you were saying that's all; sorry for miss understanding you ??
This guy liked it, not me ?
This one seems like a good option, it allows you to charge it wired without having to take out the wireless charging coil's cable, andd the charger is magnetic, however this also means it is not usb c and your existing usb c chargers won't work unless you unplug the wireless charging coil. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07MLRD1TD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_zMeEDbG6PW858
I dont know what happened, maybe it has something related to the security update i received today although i highly doubt it, but the phone no longer supercharging. Just normal charging. Any ideas?!
Loose wire try fixing it or buy new one or just restart the device sometimes its just a glitch
You can buy a new battery to replace it. It entails opening the phone.
I have the same problem! SuperCharge is no longer working (I use Huawei SuperCharge 40W and 5A cable, just bought another 22.5W - or 25W Huawei Supercharge), though I use the same charger and cable. The battery is still at very good quality.
Anyone can help with this? Really love this fast charging!

I used new wire, new charger (the old one is still very new and good, rarely use it, only for emergency). I also bought new charger and cable, still not supercharging!
