Lenovo P2 earpiece volume is too tiny - Lenovo P2 Questions & Answers

My Lenovo P20 earpiece audio volume is too low; barely can hear. Speaker mode and headset sound is fine.
Don’t know what to do. Tried some audio booster apps too without any success.
Will appreciate your helps, friends.

Have you tried to check the earpiece socket with a magnifying glass? Mine was occluded and dirt. I had to disassembly the touch and clean it with a small needle.

Tried but no luck

[Q] Weird Headphone/Earphone Issue.

So i tried playing music on my a1 through my earphones ( nokia earphones u get in most nokia phones with a square button+clip) but the issue which came up the sound was distorted , this same thing happened in my pc and if the button on the mic was always pressed then they work normal and awesome. so i pressed the button while listening on phone and they worked normal and nice without any distortion.
AFAIK its based on the jack present on the phone , that the earphone jack supports the jack in the phone.
Am i the only one or everybody has the same thing/jack.

[q] speakers not working

Hi guys this is my first post here [excuse my bad English]
So i gave my phone to a repair guy because of the device have been broken. After repair the small microphone for calling is not working. Also the main speakers is not working when i play music or videos. But it WORKS when i receive an incoming call or a notification sound.
I formatted the phone but nothing happened. If you know the solution i would really appreciate if you leave a comment.
Anybody ???
I have had the same situation b4, but it was bc I WAS using an audio mod, and it somehow is malfunctioning with the speakers, causing it not being able to play musics/videos, while the notification and alarm sounds still works.
So, having said that, were u using an audio mod? If you were, removing it could be a solution.

Yeah well, then this situation is kinda...weird. Did you try plugging a headphone, play a song, then pull it out and press the play button? Somehow this will make the phone's speaker work. But it's just a makeshift solution, you can't just rely on it for, like ever.

Don't worry bro. I have experience of disassembling my phone and reassembling it. I quess the problem is because that the repair guy did not fix the speaker module correctly .Everything in our phone is just press and lock system. If it is not correctly fixed / if lose contact is there.,Secondary microphone and speaker issue will arise. If you are brave enough to do it by yourself go ahead like i did it for myself. But i should warn you opening your phone might void your warranty. Use below videos to disassemble and understand where is speaker module located. You can easily identify the speaker module as , headphone jack, speaker, primary camera comes in a single plastic unit.

The only thing I would add is to take care of replacing the double-sided sticky gasket before putting the back cover on when reassembling the phone. Without it, there is no seal around the back cover (the fit is quite loose, even with latches and all), and all the dust and dirt that is supposed to be kept out of your phone will get in. Use either a proper seal made specifically for your phone (can be ordered online), or some quality tape from 3M or similar. When I was replacing a battery in my ZL, I took an unused gasket that was left over from one of my previous repairs (Xperia Z1), and cut pieces from it to size. Worked perfectly.

Poor sound quality over headphones with microphone

Hello,
Today I got new headphones but the sound quality is poor. I think it may be due to headphones having microphone - thus 4-pole connector. I know there are more types of these connectors, and I don't really need a microphone so I was wondering if something like this would help.

It is hard to tell... Maybe a little buzz, but I would say it's more like there is little-to-no mid range. The sound is just "boxy". It is perfectly clear on my old headphones which don't have a microphone.

Problem when inserting external earphones and microphone

Hi guys,
I've got this phone quite recently, and got this problem right away.
When I plug in my earphones with microphone included I'd say that 80% of the time, people can't hear my voice. They do hear a high-pitch sound, going over my voice. This happens on call, while recording audio, on what's app...
So my guess is that's a jack-connection issue. I don't have another pair of earphones or external mic to try with at that time. But I was wondering if this was a common trouble? Should I look into getting other earbuds or look into fixing the phone?
Thank you,
Probably just your headset..
Is it the one included with the phone?

I did not receive a headset with the phone no. This is one I bought previously, Symphonized NRG 3.0.
Not sure if it would help but try cleaning the earphone jack with a toothpick. Dust and lint usually get stuck inside the jack.

It would totally makes sense, this is a protection which limits volume automatically to preserve your ears.
It cannot know it is plugged in a car
Hello to everbody here is the same problem as you guys
When i increase the sound in my car with AUX Cable and get the maximum volume it is disccounected i do not want to DISCONNECT help me in advise
Any Suggesions ?
For me the aux cable works just fine if i connect headphones or earphones when i connect it to car stereo it sometimes works and sometime it just keeps on stoping the music. I think issue is with low quality cable, I might be wrong but after buying a cable that is of good quality my issue has been resolved.
