Is it so impossible to port CM or at least AOSP ROM to this device version? Stock-only full of Samsung bloatware looks like a discrimination versus full-functional official CM builds for I9190 and I9195.
If someone maintains a custom ROM for I9192, let me know please. I do own a device and have enough time for testing and bugreporting.

i'm looking for the same thing ...but no luck so far
I'm looking for the same thing!
For what I know the problem is the specific samsung dual sim implementation in framework/phone/sms/settings, and modem libs.
The only CM ROM working on dual sim I can found is on Sony, there : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2518451
I think we can only hope for some love from experienced dev to make some port
Does any one know how to port, Color OS Rom.
Or
Is it available for oneplus 3?
Why choose ColorOS? You have many other ROM available in this forum.

I have used OPPO F1 Plus before buying Oneplus 3, OPPO F1 Plus is a Very Good Phone even though it runs on MediaTek Processor , I liked it a lot.
It has app locking with in the OS and very good camera app it has many other options and overall Color OS is very good.
In my Opinion with the specs that we have in 'Oneplus 3', ColorOS will be one of the best roms for daily USE.
I'd like to see Flyme OS more than Color OS
Any One,,, Color Os Or Flyme Os Please ..... it will be great to see those roms in oneplus 3
color for op3 would be nice
i wish someone port it...
there are many roms for op3, but the problem is that they all have a common look and feel (CM & AOSP Based)
we already just have ZUI & MIUI...
Can someone guide us to tutorial on how to port FlymeOs or ColorOs to oneplus 3 device

You don't need a guide for a specific OS, the process is the same for all ROMs.
So just search for a guide for porting ROMs and try to do it. Good luck [emoji1]

I found few guides but they all talk about MTK cpu, I think it will make a difference if the cpu is different!

It's not a good stable rom. Had a oppo find 7 and the last latest coloros they released was buggy,

Oxygen OS 4.0.2 also has the app locking features built-in. it's present in the security option in settings menu. As for the camera app. it's really very fast and takes excellent provided you know how to take it.
Additionally install nova launcher and make it look like any OS of your choice.
It'll be nice to have different options to flash
HydrogenOS?
Have you tried HydrogenOS?
It's an official OS from OnePlus, and it is similar to other Asian ROMS.
Also, on the open beta, it's nougat.

This question has been asked quite a bit on the net. It has been done in quite a confusing way by OnePlus. Both the NA and Chinese variant are A3000, while the EU variant is A3003. All 3 variants have different bands they support though. So the Chinese A3000 is different from the NA A3000. But as far as I could find out, the only difference between all variants are the bands they support.

you probably have the north american variant as the chinese doesnt comes with oss, it ships with hydrogen os. and yes you can download firmwares from oneplus's website as the bands are hardware dependent. Also you need to have a stock recovery if you plan on flashing the official firmware from oneplus or you can download a singed oss rom from oneplus's forums which can be flashed from twrp.

You're right, my lte frequency is 1800 mhz, works fine with this Chinese variant a3000, Moreover I'm sure Europe radio also fully supports 1800 frequency, can i simply flash available rom on oneplus.net ,will it be fine, i was in lg before, lg has huge problem with boot loaders , partitions must be specific for every variant, is it fine with OP to Flash a3003 rom with all its partitions??
Thanks for replying

That's where confusion arises, North American model bands doesn't support my country lte bands, but 1800 frequency works absolutely fine here with me, Chinese version does support my bands, but how it can be with oos
Now can i flash firmware available on official one plus site, i suppose it's for a3003, can i?
Secondly a3003 also supports my bands as well as Chinese variant do
Please suggest

While it also confused me how you can (possibly) have a Chinese variant with OOS, a question comes to mind. Does it really matter? OnePlus on their official website does not give a different download for the different variants. All variants under one download. So there isn't even a choice; just use the one they provide.
However, as mentioned earlier in the thread, you do need the official recovery to flash the official firmware. I don't think it works with TWRP.

Good point, you raised of single firmware available
In such case, efs must hold radio as well but i found radio inside firmware zip by oneplus, or they have provided all radios to match respective modems, lol , whatever, I'm gonna try tonight for sure, hope everything goes fine, backing up efs only and take the leap [emoji6]
Thanks for help
Do raise if any point comes to your mind
I'll report back
Thanks again

Yes its all indeed confusing but i also think all 3 models use the same firmware otherwise oneplus would have definitely specified the version on their site. Still i would say just to make sure you can chat with oneplus's customer support and see what they say.

Sorry, my OnePlus 3 has yet to arrive (despite my signature lol). ETA 4 days.
I know the things I know just by reading posts all over the place.
Btw, you can use the multi-quote button to reply to multiple people in one post. Just in case you didn't know.

No i dont plan to. They removed the pure black dark mode from that build plus android 7 is near as cm is already building a rom. So i'll wait for the cm 14 or the oxygen os. I'm happy with the performance of my oneplus right now.

That statement is a little misleading. Bands are indeed hardware dependent, but that is actually more reason, not less, to believe different firmware is needed. Because different hardware generally needs different drivers (thus firmware). But it isn't the case this time thankfully.

Same here. When I get my OnePlus 3 after a few days, I'll just wait for CM 14. I want to use a custom CM-based kernel, and there aren't really any features I'll miss from OOS. The only thing I might miss is the official camera app (it results in better quality pics), but since a port of that app is nearly fully functional, that is a moot point too.
@Djalaal
It confuses me too, don't know how one plus has adapted this modem baseband thing, seems all bands sorted for auto compatibility with Hardware
Thanks for help
