Does any one know how to port, Color OS Rom.
Or
Is it available for oneplus 3?
Why choose ColorOS? You have many other ROM available in this forum.

I have used OPPO F1 Plus before buying Oneplus 3, OPPO F1 Plus is a Very Good Phone even though it runs on MediaTek Processor , I liked it a lot.
It has app locking with in the OS and very good camera app it has many other options and overall Color OS is very good.
In my Opinion with the specs that we have in 'Oneplus 3', ColorOS will be one of the best roms for daily USE.
I'd like to see Flyme OS more than Color OS
Any One,,, Color Os Or Flyme Os Please ..... it will be great to see those roms in oneplus 3
color for op3 would be nice
i wish someone port it...
there are many roms for op3, but the problem is that they all have a common look and feel (CM & AOSP Based)
we already just have ZUI & MIUI...
Can someone guide us to tutorial on how to port FlymeOs or ColorOs to oneplus 3 device

You don't need a guide for a specific OS, the process is the same for all ROMs.
So just search for a guide for porting ROMs and try to do it. Good luck [emoji1]

I found few guides but they all talk about MTK cpu, I think it will make a difference if the cpu is different!

Oxygen OS 4.0.2 also has the app locking features built-in. it's present in the security option in settings menu. As for the camera app. it's really very fast and takes excellent provided you know how to take it.
Additionally install nova launcher and make it look like any OS of your choice.
It'll be nice to have different options to flash
HydrogenOS?
Have you tried HydrogenOS?
It's an official OS from OnePlus, and it is similar to other Asian ROMS.
Also, on the open beta, it's nougat.

Hi,
What is the best ROM for this tablet ?
Thank you!
Hi! Until the moment, the best is the Infected CM11, build with linaro/sabermood. Its smooth and stable . But they say that the slim is really Nexus experience, but I hadnt try it. If you test slim let me now

Go Custom Stock with either Letscky or Malladus ROMs...you get the benefit of stock LG functionality and apps and smooth, stable performance. There are some devices where it is best to stick as close to stock as possible: one is the Note range of Samsung devices (for S-Pen functionality amongst others) and the other for me I have discovered now is this device... I have tried all the AOSP-based variants out there but keep getting back to custom Stock ROMs...especially now that Android 4.4.2 has rolled out to stock...

I'm very cautious about changing the original LG ROM, even if I have Cyanogenmod on my phone, and tried all the custom ROM available for it. The original LG is very well updated and have a lot of good features.

I feel the exact same. I've tried just about all the roms and always go back to LG to avoid issues.
This type of thread is not allowed on xda, the only best Rom out there is the one you decide to use

You are joking yes?
Different Roms work better on different devices. In order for the community to get accurate information on what should be dismissed or improved, discussion of different Roms, apps, kernels, and the like, are vital to the furthering of quality for all devices, and should be encouraged.
I would certainly want to be told which Roms incorporate the best features for native LG devices, both as a developer, and as a user. This thread is exactly the discussion XDA was created for!
Hello, XDA!
I have bought an OnePlus 3 and installed every requirements to install custom ROMs. Can you guys here at XDA Developers Forum suggest me what custom ROM is prettier enough for this device?
Thanks in advance!

Hey there devs!
Uh, I was just wondering if any of you guys can port the Touchwiz UI or perhaps, even the new Note 7 Grace UI ROM for our OnePlus 3? This might be possible if we take the ROM from the Snapdragon 820 based S7 as base, right? Asking this cuz the new Touchwiz is really optimized pretty good and looks pretty neat.
Thanks in advance

You'd have to heavily theme a CM ROM if you wanted it to look like TouchWiz.
Porting Samsung ROMs to non-samsung devices has always been somewhat unsuccessful due to the audio drivers and camera drivers being structured differently. Unless we have someone talented enough to redesign a driver for those things.
I wouldn't mind Grace UX on my OP3

But its strange to ask for a port of IOS to samsung device. I like apple products and theirs operative system. They fit so well with each other. They still use dual core cpu (1.83ghz 6s) but its on top. Osx is so battery friendly ram management friendly etc . Android is so power hungry.. use more than 2times more battery. Once iphone gives dual sim model ill switch for it.

which method/tool are you using to do so?
Some people hate TouchWiz other love it, but I think the good of Android and the Oneplus with the capabilities to port a ROM. So let's do it I will try it on my OP3
Just read the article on here about how poorly optimised Touchwiz is on the note, and how it hampers performance, and then this.
Hi XDAs OnePlus 3 community!
Before I got the OnePlus 3 I had a Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE (GT-I9506) and saw this awesome ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...m-phronesis-mm-rom-v1-0-feature-rich-t3468592
I tried it and thought it was really nice but it needed a bit better hardware.
And I have been just wondering :What if someone could port this awesome Rom to OnePlus 3?
If someone could´port this ROM to the OP3 that would awesome
And if possible please add DASH Charge : )
Wrong section, this should be in Questions & Answers. That being said, if nobody else steps up I'll give it a go in my free time, it looks promising. But I have minimal experience with Android development so it might take a while.
Oh yea sorry about the section

I thought this would maybe get more attention in this section, and and I appreciate any ones attempts to port this ROM. :good:
And btw sorry for the tried mispellings in this thread.
Why do you want a Samsung based ROM ? Most of the apps in the ROM will not work on the OP3. Stay on stock ROM and enjoy Nougat.
No, there cannot be any possibility to port a TouchWiz based ROM to OP3. No matter what you do, there just simply not enough method and time to do so.
And to be honest, there's other ROM available that could be better than that

Tend to agree. I don't like Touchwiz personally, but the themes are cool and it's quite fluid.

Personally I like aicp their 12.1 N from is buggy but if you use their last build of 11 from October it runs flawlessly on 3.2.4 firmware and has customization that I diddnt even know I wanted. I've used a lot of time but it's by far the best

I was wondering if there was any developers out there working on a stock-based ROM which was UX 6.0 for our G3. Around this time last year Fulmics 5.0 released which was based on UX 5.0 and it became hugely popular but now its developement has ceased and it would be great if someone else bought out a new ROM to make our G3 feel fresh again.
If there is no one working on it, I would like to know if there is any particular reason why it wouldn't work - such as the aspect ratio.

No. And it is simple. UX 6 is for android 7. There are many changes, framework stuff. It is not compatible with out LG G3 still in android 6. That was already discussed in the Fulmics thread.
