The best Custom ROM for LG G Pad ?

Hi,
What is the best ROM for this tablet ?
Thank you!
Hi! Until the moment, the best is the Infected CM11, build with linaro/sabermood. Its smooth and stable . But they say that the slim is really Nexus experience, but I hadnt try it. If you test slim let me now

Go Custom Stock with either Letscky or Malladus ROMs...you get the benefit of stock LG functionality and apps and smooth, stable performance. There are some devices where it is best to stick as close to stock as possible: one is the Note range of Samsung devices (for S-Pen functionality amongst others) and the other for me I have discovered now is this device... I have tried all the AOSP-based variants out there but keep getting back to custom Stock ROMs...especially now that Android 4.4.2 has rolled out to stock...

I'm very cautious about changing the original LG ROM, even if I have Cyanogenmod on my phone, and tried all the custom ROM available for it. The original LG is very well updated and have a lot of good features.
From LG G Pad 8.3 with the original Kitkat by LG

I feel the exact same. I've tried just about all the roms and always go back to LG to avoid issues.
This type of thread is not allowed on xda, the only best Rom out there is the one you decide to use

You are joking yes?
Different Roms work better on different devices. In order for the community to get accurate information on what should be dismissed or improved, discussion of different Roms, apps, kernels, and the like, are vital to the furthering of quality for all devices, and should be encouraged.
I would certainly want to be told which Roms incorporate the best features for native LG devices, both as a developer, and as a user. This thread is exactly the discussion XDA was created for!

Nope, none as of now!

Maybe, maybe not.. not many users here are inclined towards flashing custom roms I guess.. I personally am very satisfied with stock, if reqd I'll root and use Xposed. But if ure looking for AOSP & CM roms, then sorry, exynos devices are not famous for those roms.

[REQUEST] SlimKat ROM from SlimRoms.net

Hello guys. I'd like to request some of our great devs to try and build this rom. I am not capable of doing this as my internet speed is slow and its crashing frequently thus I'm not able to download any of the sources. even if I've downloaded them I bet the build wont be complete because I'm a total noob and beginner at this.
I know this probably wont get much attention but I can try.
Thanks guys and have a wonderful day.

all the lollipop roms are supporting msim....and one of them is slim roms
soon we will get it for sure
I once tried to port this ROM using CM11 R14 as based and using the closest SlimROM I can think of (falcon - MotoG)
and bootloop over and over again LoL
not that easy I guess
didn't have any clues how to fix it
didn't have the knowledge and supportive hardware to build it from scratch :crying:
SlimRoms support will here for xiaomi redmi1s by me ... will release SlimLP once i find it stable for daily use
edit: PS. NO PM's Please
Count me too:thumbup:

[Q] Could Someone Port This ROM To OnePlus 3?

Hi XDAs OnePlus 3 community!
Before I got the OnePlus 3 I had a Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE (GT-I9506) and saw this awesome ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...m-phronesis-mm-rom-v1-0-feature-rich-t3468592
I tried it and thought it was really nice but it needed a bit better hardware.
And I have been just wondering :What if someone could port this awesome Rom to OnePlus 3?
If someone could´port this ROM to the OP3 that would awesome
And if possible please add DASH Charge : )
Wrong section, this should be in Questions & Answers. That being said, if nobody else steps up I'll give it a go in my free time, it looks promising. But I have minimal experience with Android development so it might take a while.
Oh yea sorry about the section

I thought this would maybe get more attention in this section, and and I appreciate any ones attempts to port this ROM. :good:
And btw sorry for the tried mispellings in this thread.
Why do you want a Samsung based ROM ? Most of the apps in the ROM will not work on the OP3. Stay on stock ROM and enjoy Nougat.
No, there cannot be any possibility to port a TouchWiz based ROM to OP3. No matter what you do, there just simply not enough method and time to do so.
And to be honest, there's other ROM available that could be better than that

Tend to agree. I don't like Touchwiz personally, but the themes are cool and it's quite fluid.

Personally I like aicp their 12.1 N from is buggy but if you use their last build of 11 from October it runs flawlessly on 3.2.4 firmware and has customization that I diddnt even know I wanted. I've used a lot of time but it's by far the best

Paranoid Android Why?

I have downloaded the Paranoid Android OS to flash into my OP3, the OS seem good and best of all very slim no crap installed into it.....big plus! But the big down side is that the finger print dont work at all, unless if you go looking around to find a solution for it on the net. Well that really suck, why the hell would any body go from CM13 or even CM14.1 to PA? when the fingerprint is perfectly working on CM ?

You need to install the correct firmware.
Is this a [email protected]/#€& reason to start a thread?

Wrong thread dude !
Actually, i downloaded the file right from the PA site and the latest release.no home button... Yeah why not ? @ahepas
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
A: the latest ROM on there isn't exactly recent. It's fairly clear it's not.
B: you most definitely have the wrong firmware installed.
C: why on earth would you not post this in the PA thread itself or in the Q&A thread?
P.s. go home. You're drunk.

You need corresponding firmware with PA. Firmware from Oxygen OS 3.2.4.
