3rd party pogo docks available?

I want a dock with pogo pins, but the original samsung dock is too expensive in my opinion. I mean... there is almost nothing inside and they want >40€
So are there any docks with pogo pins, which are not from samsung? Our chinese friends are known for cloning these kind of products, but lower price.

I'm wondering why there haven't been more. Perhaps because the GN isn't as popular a device as other manufacturer's halo products?
I sure would love to give someone my money for building an adjustable dock that can accommodate my small TPU case while still connecting to the pogo plugs.

Not yet. Seeing how even Samsung and Google can't get it right after 6 months, I wouldn't hold my breath. Build your own, you'll save money and feel accomplished.

+1 for this, doesn't take much effort to make one.

Active car mount (Qi or plugin)

Anybody seen a Qi wireless charging car mount or a standard active car mount for this phone?

True but I really need a car dock so I ordered it anyway. I'll let you know how it is. It seems that both from Amazon and eBay they all ship from Korea so it will probably be a while.

I had one like this for my Rezound but it sucked pretty badly. The phone holder part was always detaching from the arm part, especially in hot or cold weather due to the plastic parts that didn't fit snuggly enough in the first place.

I saw that one too but I remember reading about the N4 having issues with the Nokia Qi charger due to them not following the standard or something, so I figured this may have that issue as well.

Some people seem to have had luck with it but it sounds like there are issues for the most part. The other one you posted may not have these issues but worth being aware of I suppose.

Owl Charger?
My N5 just shipped, so I pulled the trigger and ordered this one from Owl. They should come around the same time. I've not seen much in English about this company, but enough reviews on Korean sites for me to take a chance. Anyone else ever tried or heard of this company?

Thanks, I found that really large thread on the N4 forums. It seems hit or miss and kinda depending on what you're looking for. I'm hoping that being here in Korea, I'll maybe get some support from the manufacturer :laugh: I'll update or maybe do a review once I get it. Maybe.

My experience with using a wireless charger in the car (one mounted on the windshield) doesn't work to well in the summer time. Would charge fine on the drive to work in the morning before sun rise. Not so on the drive home in the heat of the afternoon.

I'm curious about it too. I've seen two aftermarket docks that look like that, much like the old Xperia S or Z docks. I got the official Sony Z1 dock and its fine, but rather small.

Well I use mine as a bedside clock/charger thingy. The Sony dock is small, and quite unstable. A full length one like that might be a bit better. I bump my one and it stops charging, blah.

A picture shows that it charges with notebook attached. Isn't that what original not able to?

if compare to genuine Sony dock (warranty by Sony, with box; not those without box & donno where they from), this one is actually cheaper. Of course its much expansive if u compare to those made in China one.
If u dont have any charging dock u can consider this.

Got a nillkin case blue color but phone gets warm
Abou 42c on cpu and 41c average when gaming and using mobile data
With the silicon case provided stays about 38c
42+c is normal I know but heat can cause damage in long term usage especially on the battery

Cases for Realme XT/X2

Heyho
I want ask if somebody knows some good cases for the XT/X2. In the past I bought cheap cases (standard TPU/silicon) on AliExpress, but since I have this phone, I want to buy something better.
I don't need an armor or a heavy protective case, rather a simple and stylish case.
I know there exist an official case (Iconic case), the design is awesome, but it's only available in yellow (not my favourite color ). I'm very interested in similar cases.
I would also be happy if somebody make suggestions for cheap cases (e.g. on AliExpress).
Maybe we can use this thread to talk about different cases
