well it's X4 bigger than the DK31 and costs a lot more, why bother??
I'm curious about it too. I've seen two aftermarket docks that look like that, much like the old Xperia S or Z docks. I got the official Sony Z1 dock and its fine, but rather small.

Well I use mine as a bedside clock/charger thingy. The Sony dock is small, and quite unstable. A full length one like that might be a bit better. I bump my one and it stops charging, blah.
A picture shows that it charges with notebook attached. Isn't that what original not able to?

if compare to genuine Sony dock (warranty by Sony, with box; not those without box & donno where they from), this one is actually cheaper. Of course its much expansive if u compare to those made in China one.
If u dont have any charging dock u can consider this.

I use the Zenis dock which accepts most (but not all) cases as well (SGP Capsule for sure, as you can see below).
Looks great, works fine, very reasonable price. Happy with
Some images here.
I've been looking for a dock myself too. I want one that has an audio out via usb, the only SGS2 dock that has that is the genuine samsung desktop dock.
If you don't need a audio out via usb the most elegant solution is the Zenis dock mentioned before I guess. You can adjust it to fit the phone with or without the case unlike the genuine dock that you can only use without a case.
the dock looks good, indeed better than oem from sammy
Hi, everyone when I saw the engadget's first hand on video with Galaxy S III, I did saw the battery cover does attracts fingerprints a lot, actually not surprised but I wondered if someone would come up with a battery cover as an accessory. A metallic battery cover or the battery cover like galaxy nexus. I know that Samsung is stick with plastic because of overall weight of the device but some changes like this (the battery cover) would have been favourable for Samsung. A kickstarter project will be welcomed.

This is a great idea, this is one of the aspects of the phone I do not like. I hope some of the accessory makers make some funky back cases. Or I am hoping for some leather skins from Zagg to stick over the back
Alloy or Ceramic back cover for S3
That’s can be an excellent idea but not sure the wireless charger will work with ally back cover

It has been proven that metal cover leads to risk of fire/death/destruction with wireless charging, so plastic is the way to go, and far more shock absorbent than metal (car bumpers)

Wireless charging will apparently need a different back cover which will be included in the wireless kit, so probably worth waiting until pictures of that emerge before looking at other battery covers.

I have a few of my users (yes IT manager here) asking if there is a physical keyboard for the s3 that is integrated with a case. They want the equivalent of this:
http://www.amazon.com/Ultra-thin-Sliding-Bluetooth-Keyboard-iPhone/dp/B0054KMWF2/ref=sr_1_3
They all know that any bluetooth or keyboard can work with it, they just wanted an integrated version as they prefer a bulkier s3 vs separate items.
I've looked around a bit and couldn't find anything, does anyone know where I might be able to find one? Or perhaps know a company that is making one now?
Thanks!
There are none :/

I think there are..but no idea how you would get one.

I've often wanted something like this when I need to answer a bunch of emails when I'm out and about. There are a bunch for iphones, but I've yet to see one to fit an Android device. It seems like if any phone would get one, the GSIII might. I've also wondered why nobody can seem to make the slider keyboard with an interchangeable TPU case to fit different models.

On eBay I came across this,
it's not really fit like the slider you mentioned though.
You know why you can't find one?
because it would make the camera useless, and severely diminish the speaker.
no-one has made a small enough keyboard to not cover them. the closest anyone has gotten is that computer generated render, in the previous posts that is not for sale.
it WILL happen.. just wait.

That's neat, but i wonder if the "hinge" can hold itself up
---------- Post added at 02:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:43 PM ----------
maybe someone needs to make a Gameklip-style thing, but for holding these micro-bluetooth keyboards (patent pending )
What would seem more practical and allow use of everything is the keyboard folding down. When it is closed laying against the screen with a flap or something separating keyboard and screen. You works have a full keyboard and since Bluetooth the keyboard could be used with other phone with the same case. Any case makers watching here... do it live. I've thought about it for over a year. I also have a good idea for amplifying phone speakers with battery any bulk. It works to made myself one.

It probably will (the hinge) hold, got a case from ebay and it was daaamn tight, surprisingly, it is still holding pretty good.

Like these?... http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trk...kw=galaxy+s3+keyboard+case&_sacat=0&_from=R40
The only concern I'd have about these is that they seem to just have a "soft" hinge (ie. just the material), so it probably wouldn't support itself. Something like this would be great though if it was a hard case (think Nintendo DS), as it would protect the screen when closed.

I hate physical keyboard that is soo old school. It's 2012 and we need to be up to date with technology.
Ignore the trolls. Any word on finding this sliding case for US purchase?

Not a good answer, but you can get a simple OnTheGo USB cable, and plug any USB keyboard in. Handy if you are going to do a lot of work on the phone. Not that you would carry a USB keyboard around.
FYI ele-boat says it'll be available for purchase November 10th.

More expensive alternative: http://www.wpcentral.com/review-nokia-cr-200-wireless-car-charger-part1
I had one like this for my Rezound but it sucked pretty badly. The phone holder part was always detaching from the arm part, especially in hot or cold weather due to the plastic parts that didn't fit snuggly enough in the first place.

I saw that one too but I remember reading about the N4 having issues with the Nokia Qi charger due to them not following the standard or something, so I figured this may have that issue as well.

Some people seem to have had luck with it but it sounds like there are issues for the most part. The other one you posted may not have these issues but worth being aware of I suppose.

My N5 just shipped, so I pulled the trigger and ordered this one from Owl. They should come around the same time. I've not seen much in English about this company, but enough reviews on Korean sites for me to take a chance. Anyone else ever tried or heard of this company?

Thanks, I found that really large thread on the N4 forums. It seems hit or miss and kinda depending on what you're looking for. I'm hoping that being here in Korea, I'll maybe get some support from the manufacturer  I'll update or maybe do a review once I get it. Maybe.
My experience with using a wireless charger in the car (one mounted on the windshield) doesn't work to well in the summer time. Would charge fine on the drive to work in the morning before sun rise. Not so on the drive home in the heat of the afternoon.
Hello. I want to buy a strong power bank for laptops, emergencies, etc. I see these two:

And:
https://www.amazon.com/Renogy-72000mAh-Portable-Generator-Technology/dp/B0791WDZTW/
Which one is better? I ask because is strange that the Renogy is extremely cheaper compared to the Krisdonia, but why?
Both look strong but which one is the best?
Thank you

iMuto power bank is best then other. Because it has big mAh battery saving and Two ports, 20,000mAh and affordable. It's worth $29.99 maybe cheap.
I like MI Power Banks. They are so powerful and effective. You must give them a try if haven't used it yet

I cannot see the prices, but usually if there's a big price difference it's fake, there's no precise way to quantify a battery size other that what the manufacturer says, so probably those 72.000mAh are probably fake, check the reviews on others website, maybe you'll find more info about
no price of the product you post.
I THINK no one want to buy it
