can i install ios rom for my xiaomi mi a2 lite phone?
no
Hi there,
After hours of searching online, with no result I have been forced to contact the Xiaomi factory directly.
My mi 10t pro recently had been bricked and as a last resort I was forced to flash the entire factory stock ROM again. However I have come to the conclusion that there is an underlying severe issue with the Xiaomi ROM format.
After flashing everything was working like before apart from several sensor modules. I will focus on the camera for the email.
Inside the camera app the cameras were not detected, I then launched CIT and there the cameras have given the error "camera list no match". This error can be traced back to the "persist.img" file within a BROM fastboot flash.
The mi 10t pro is part of the Apollo series which includes the smaller mi 10t and I have come to the conclusion that all publicly available fastboot ROMs have a persist.img suitable to the mi 10t and therefore when flashing it , the camera list includes in the persist.img are not matched with the hardware of the mi 10t pro. I have evidence for this.
Attached to this email is an image of a bootloader read of the default.prop file which I read to see what parameters were being set for my device.
As I suspected, the parameters being passed through the entire software was for mi 10t pro, the model the OS is designed around.
can someone please backup the persist file from their mi 10t pro and post it here for me to use please please, please. thankyou so much
Have a good day,

You can download the fastboot rom corresponding to your rom version and extract the img file.
https://xiaomirom.com/en/series/
I had the same problem with a Poco f2 (no more fingerprint) and flashing the persit img didn't change anything,
I used https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/flash-tool-guide-use-xiaomi-flash-tool.4262425/ (Flash the same rom that was on your phone when you bought it) then the CIT.
thanks. so the poco f2 how did you fix it

ive tried doing that already but it didnt work and as you can see in my twrp terminal the rom literally just flashes the mi10t pros persist file which would explain why the camera list doesn't match as the 2 models have different cameras. hence i need to ask around for any mi 10t pro owners to directly send me their persist img so i can flash that instead.
