Was over 2gb, currently installing on my At&t S10+.
Probably not going to do a factory reset today, but will within the week. I usually do that on major updates.

Good grief! 2GB!?!?! I have an AT&T S10+ here and I have yet to receive the update. I don't know if I even want it, but I know my phone will force it eventually.
This is beautiful news because now the unlocked model (U1) will get it officially soon as well.
Baseband version:
G970USQU2CSKP (GS10e)
G973USQU2CSKP (GS10)
G975USQU2CSKP (GS10+)
G977UUCS3YSJM (S10 5G)
Still no update here, AT&T is slow getting the update to my phone. I am kind of thankful as I like Android 9. And no I haven't tried to manually do it either.
Downloading now.

You can install any vendors rom since all US S10+ are the same. It will setup according to the installed sim card, if you odin in the rom. You don't have to wait for AT&T, just install any CSKP rom for the U version. They have not released the U1 version yet.

Thankful? Android 10 is not a major update, so you'll hardly notice any difference.
Oh I know, just waiting for AT&T to force the update on me so I don't have to ODIN around and it wipe all my data from flashing a ROM.

I thin you can do the same for the U1 versions, it's all the same across all carriers as well as the unlocked version.

Yes, you can. I was on the beta 10 program with a U1 version and just loaded a U version of the official release to get off that beta. As soon as they make the U1 official, I will load it up.

The U1 version has no vendor apps or bloat. The ROM itself installs smaller on your phone. The main reason I do it is to not have vendor apps installed that I will never use and typically can't un-install.
I get my roms from www.sammobile.com. It is slow download but always finishes properly. They also seem to be the first source to have the latest versions.

Yes, search for phone model as a U model.
Here are the instructions Sammobile gives you:
Extract the firmware file you just downloaded. You should get 5 files:
AP (System &Recovery)
BL (Bootloader)
CP (Modem / Radio)
CSC_*** (Country / Region / Operator)
HOME_CSC_*** (Country / Region / Operator)
Add each file to its respective field in Odin v3.14.1.3B Use CSC_*** if you want to do a clean flash OR HOME_CSC_*** if you want to keep your apps and data.
Reboot your phone in Download / Odin mode (make sure your device is off) with the following button combo: POWER + VOLUME DOWN + BIXBY
Other options in case first option did not work or isn't possible.
Option 2 VOLUME DOWN + VOLUME UP then USB cable
Option 3 POWER + VOLUME DOWN + VOLUME UP
Option 4 POWER + VOLUME DOWN + HOME BUTTON
Option 5 (Note9) USB cable + VOLUME DOWN + BIXBY
Option 6 (Note10) POWER + VOLUME UP
Once in download mode, connect your phone to the PC, preferably using the original USB cable you got with your phone. Odin should detect your device and a BLUE box will show up with the COM port number. (Be sure, the SAMSUNG-drivers are installed on your PC!)
Do NOT tick any extra boxes. The only options to be ticked are F.Reset Time and Auto-Reboot.
Click the start button, wait for Odin to say 'PASS' in a GREEN box. Once the flash is complete, your phone will reboot, and you can disconnect your phone from the PC.

Does anyone have the AT&T user data file that comes with the One UI 2.0 update? I flashed the update without the user data file and I suspect that might have something to do with why my advanced messaging option (RCS) is no longer working in Samsung Messages.

For the user data file, talk to @iBowToAndroid about that.
My RCS in Samsung messages stopped working on the BSIP build. Currently on BSIW. AT&T hasn't forced me to update to Android 10 yet.

So I've used @iBowToAndroid's AT&T user data file in the past with flying colors, but I wonder if AT&T has possibly altered the file with the new update? Probably not but right now i'm backing up my phone and doing a factory reset to see if that fixes anything.

Hi,
I have a galaxy note 2014 edition that has retail mode on, it was a demo ex. Is there anyway to remove this from the device? Maybe through factory reset with stock firmware or something? Have no idea how to do a factory reset with stock firmware if that works.

Hi,
To do a factory reset: Switch off the tablet.
Then power it up by pressing simultaneously and holding : Volume up + Home + Power
When in Recovery mode move the cursor with the volume key and execute with the power key.
Select Factory reset and execute it.

Hi,
OK, the first thing to know is which device you have: Sm-P600/601/605 ??
Then to know which ROM is installed on the tablet ?
If you can go to setting : then scroll down to "About the phone" you should see the version of the ROM.
With that you go to sammobile
You put your device type and you will get all the stock ROM's
You click on the one you want and on the next windows you will have the URL to download and the way to install it.
To be able to download the ROM you have to register on this site but it's free of charge !!

Its a SM-P600,
Kernel Version: 3.4.39-1691324
Build Number: JSS15J.P600XXXUAMI8_LLK
I tried that site but canceled it cause it said it will take 15h to download the firmware.
You can try from HERE
But I am not sure it will be any faster.
Those ROM's are quite big > 1.xx Gb so if your internet connection is slow it's take time.

One more question, I can´t seem to set some kind of password for the lockscreen since the lock screen option is gone in some way. It says something about Knox but what is that?
Can i add some other app that handles the lock screen?
About Knox: it's some kind of security introduced by Samsung some months ago, a real pain in the back..
Have a look HERE (for example) for more details.
Yes you can install applications w/o problem.
Knox will only get involved when you start playing with the ROM's, Bootloader etc ..
Hi
Hello guys, I have an Galaxy S6 Edge Demo version, I want to know if I change the motherboard with another with GSM function, it will work fine ?
The digital finger print doesn't work, I have to change the button or how can I fix this ?
And another thing, in the background of display, you can barely notice a text, this : Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, this thing is from display or motherboard ? Because I want to know, if I change the motherboard, it will dissapear that text ?
Thank you.
I would like to remove the starting screen ''Live demo unit'' on SM-T800X tablet to the stock one, and after flashing I have got the demo pieces of text in the bottom of the screen.
I tried to re-partition the install with ODIN and used a PIT file but no changes. Anybody can help with this problem please ? Is there any solution to change the demo unit to look as a stock SM-T800 ?
Also if there any solution to change KNOX value to 0 would be great.
First I am not responsible.... this is just gathered information, and no one had put it together for the Verizon GS8+
Again, GS8+ for below. The steps should work for other versions, but you will need the other versions of the software files.
Alright, I was tired of looking everywhere for everything. Here is what you need to do, to flash the actual U1 firmware, but keep the Verizon Wifi Calling Visual Voicemail, Video calling and other Verizon goodies.
This also allows you to run the U1 firmware version and uninstall any of the bloat that you want (not just disable it). It allows for tethering without checks as well. Best of both worlds if you will. The worst thing about this is the splash screen is still Verizon
Before you proceed. This does wipe the phone, so backup, backup backup.

4. Put phone back into download mode and connect to Odin 3.12.5
5. Flash the "user data" from the Verizon firmware in the UMS slot
6. Start up phone again
My phone took about 5 minutes to boot initially from the Verizon splash screen after the last step. Don't panic, I nearly did.
Mine was tested on a Verizon model, but should work for any wanting to use a Verizon compatible unlocked version.

This is different than the other workarounds from a while back. This is new.
The activation is in the settings... Just like the Verizon variant.
Flashed and so far so good. Able to uninstall bloat and tether works on my unlimited Verizon. Not sure about wifi calling as I don't use it but voicemail does not work. Tried several different things and it's a no-go. Also there is no Galaxy app that I've seen. Have some funny quirks in stuff I rarely use. But im happy with everything else.
No vvm no wifi CALLING either for me
Installed no vvm gets error 9009.video calling does work no samsung smart call and samsung backup.
It's odd though. Some new things in setting and the way apps behave is a little different. Cant quite place it.
just install the apks from my thread and follow directions for settings permissions and using rom control to activate wificalling.

New update on Firmware.science SS-G975USQU1ASBA-to-U1ASD3-UP
This is a Snapdragon update. Must be on latest SBA firmware. Download, copy to SD card and power the phone down. After it's off, hold power, bixby and volume up until you see Samsung S10+ screen, or you can hold until you see the blue screen, then let go. Choose update from sd card and choose the dowloaded file you copied to SD card. It wont wipe on verizon for sure. Dont know about other carriers. On S9 the only carrier that got wiped with every update like this was ATT. All others were fine.
This made a HUGE improvement on fingerprints for me. I deleted all my saved and when i re-did them, it registered every touch with very little pressure for 4 fingers. (I do two for each thumb) I maybe got 3 errors saying press harder the whole setup. Before i had to press pretty hard. When unlocking it unlocked 10 out of 10 times and quicker than before. I haven't found a changelog so i'm not sure what else is in it. It is 536MB. Enjoy and please post what you find has changed. UPDATE: I stopped counting at 50.. but only 2 errors unlocking with 50+ tries.
I hope this helps my bluetooth.. ASC8 helped my fingerprint but I think it mad BT worse
Confirmed!! What he says is 100%
Verizon SD here and fingerprint is short press now not hard pressure and is perfect. Download file, rename to Update.zip, put on sd card(root directory), choose reboot, hold down only boxby and vol up keys, go to update from sd card. Dont freak if it takes a while-expect 10 mins or so.

I get a cant mount sd eror while trying to press the update from sd card, what did i ever do wrong, it works normal when the phone is on, i got usb debugging on, but still got that error, any fix?
That firmware build indicated that it was an update for t-mo build. This works across all the current SBA builds? Reason I am asking is my build is a bit different than the one listed on firmware.science
My build: G975U1UEU1ASBA (my device is carrier unlocked version ordered via samsung.com)
Firmware.science link shows G975USQU1ASBA -> U1ASD3
Further, if I go to the firmware.science homepage and manually enter my s10+ and model number, it just lists the early march update.

This is not for unlocked version, unless you want to install the carrier firmware with bloat first and then update it. Otherwise wait for unlocked U1 to release something.
Is this an official release or will we have to backtrack to SBA later? (Don't want to factory reset)

***Edit***
By the way, I have the Whitestone Dome installed, it's a significant improvement over what it was before. Almost as good, if not just as good, as the previous update with the stock screen protector installed!
Definitely worth flashing this!
Thanks @nugzo!
Anyone know if this is what T-Mobile will be pushing OTA?
FP is a lot better now with this
To make sure.
If I have T-mobile branded s10+, and I install this firmware, will I still be able to get official T-Mobile OTA updates from then on?
how long does starting android take??? mine has bene on starting android screen for about 5 mins now.
I was unable to use the file to update from the SD card. The update would error off after 2 seconds. I was able to get it to update using the ADB method with no issues. Everything works fine, no data loss and the FP is definitely more responsive. Verizon S10+

How to install
custom rom
******************
You will need:
*PC with Odin 3.13.1 or above
(https://samsungodin.com)
*TWRP .tar image for your model
Flat: https://eu.dl.twrp.me/herolte/
Edge: https://eu.dl.twrp.me/hero2lte/
*Rom
(Stored on external memory/sdcard)
*Unlocked OEM
To unlock OEM
********************************************
Go to settings, phone information, and tap build number until it says developer options unlocked, press back twice and go into developer options turn on OEM unlock
********************************************
1. Put your phone into download mode by turning your phone off, now press volume down, power and home key at the same time until the screen turns green, then release the buttons.
2. Open Odin on your PC and plug the USB cable into your phone and press volume up.
You will see it is connected to Odin, (there will be a blue rectangle saying com(number)
3. Select the AP section and load your TWRP .tar image in there.
4. Get ready to press volume up, home and power button at same time on your phone now press start on Odin, it will only take a few seconds, as soon as the box goes green and says pass, press the volume up, home and power button combo until TWRP splash screen shows up on your phone screen. Now release button combo and unplug USB cable from your phone.
5. In twrp press wipe, then format. A keyboard will appear, type yes and press enter. Now press back to go to TWRP main screen and press reboot and select reboot to recovery. It will now reboot back into TWRP.
6. Press wipe again, then format, type yes, press enter. (Do this 3 times)
Press back to go to TWRP main screen and press wipe, select advanced wipe, check all boxes apart from OTG and SDCARD and swipe. (Do this 3 times)
Press back to go to TWRP main screen and press wipe then swipe to factory reset. (Do this 3 times)
********************************************
Your phone is now completely clear with no operating system and ready to flash a custom rom. When you downloaded your rom, you stored it on your sd card or external storage, you need to do this as when you do all the wipes it wipes your internal storage but not your sd card, that's why it says in advanced wipe don't check the sd card or OTG boxes.
********************************************
7. Press back until you go to main screen in TWRP and select install, select storage, external (sd card) and select the rom zip. Now just swipe to flash.
Normally it will go into aroma which contains check boxes of extra items to add into the rom, this rom however is a straight flash, it will automatically detect your phone model and select the correct kernel and battery capacity. It will say Installation finished when done. Now go back to main twrp screen and select reboot and press system. The phone will reboot, leave it 10-15mins to allow it to load the rom, be patient. Then you will be at the set up page just like starting a new phone. Set up from there and enjoy the rom.

I tried flashing this rom on my samsung galaxy s7 sm-g930k but the twrp recovery reported an error "can not install rom". While the MKUltraBlack NFE Rom I have installed and used very well on this device. Does this rom not support korea variant?

Note 8 does not have official One UI 2.0, not even 1.1, besides, we already have a ported One UI 2.5, FloyedQ, you should search more often.
It is strange how I didn't see this thread before :|

Oh sorry didn't reasearch it. Floyd q has lots of bugs, I want a stable one. I am not a developer btw, so, please don't tell me to make my own.

Of course I won't, common solutions are not always the right ones.
FloyedQ does not have that much of bugs to a point that makes it useless, it has only 2 major problems:
GearVR
High Wi-Fi uptimes (only on some devices)
The latter bug is probably related to kernel drivers, anyway, if GearVR is extremely important to you, then it's okay to search for another ROM.
I understand that you are not a developer, but as a user, at least you need to understand that ROMs can't be ported from any device, at least not without a bootable kernel.
A device with a similar, not too far chip will make it easier to port it's ROM, if Note 8 had One UI 2.x, of course by now it would have been a stable port, but sadly it doesn't. Give it time.

Thank you for your reply, I will check Floyd.
Hi there,
I've combined some custom-kernel-like tweaks into a single flashable .tar file and I wanted to share it with you.
This .tar file contains:
-patched vbmeta image
-working magisk root with full Android 11 support
-magisk manager helper preinstalled
-a cleaned up boot screen + no bullsh*t on boot screen
-a cleaned up unlocked bootloader screen + no bullsh*t on unlocked bootloader screen
Prerequisites
-an unlocked bootloader
-firmware version CTL1 (A11)/BTJ3 (A10) or newer
-Odin 3.XX.X
-all data backed up
-fully functional brain
-stock recovery and firmware (this will not work if you have a custom recovery or run a custom rom)
STOCK BASED ROMS LIKE BEYONDROM WILL ALSO NOT WORK!
PLEASE NOTE:
-I am not responsible for a bricked device, please make backups and make sure to
always have the official firmware if something goes wrong
-flashing this requires you to factory reset your phone or else the phone won't boot
Instructions:
-unlock your phone's bootloader
-boot into download mode
-in Odin uncheck auto-reboot
-put the .tar file into the AP slot (If it doesn't work try USERDATA)
-after flashing boot into recovery with the key combination
-select factory reset and confirm (This will wipe everything from your phone)
-after factory reset reboot into system
-setup the phone and restore your backup (if you made one)
-Install Magisk and you're good!
If you have any problems
Please don't just comment "Doesn't work" and instead tell me about
the errors you encountered, your software info and other information
you think would be helpful.
Happy flashing!

Geeeeeez! Update your phone! You have to have OneUI 2.5 BTJ3 or OneUI 3.0 CTL1 at least. What are you doing on 2.1? If you don't update, this will break your phone.
Okay buddy,ty..will do that.
Hi again m8,can i update Android 11,,One GUi 3.0,RP1A200720.012 G988B...
And ,or which file i have to use??

Depends on the version. I don't want to be rude but how did you even manage to root your phone with this lack of knowledge?
If you update to Android 11/One UI 3.0 you chose the One UI 3.0 one. If you only update to 2.5 you chose 2.5. Remember to check the end of your firmware number:
There are supported firmware endings:
One UI 2.5:
-BTJ3
-BTJ4
One UI 3.0:
-CTL1
-CTL6
-Any One UI 3.0 firmware above that.
Download SM-G988B / Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G SM-G988B in Samfw - Samsung firmware download
Pick your CSC there, chose the newest one preferably (A11), press "Download on website", unzip it and flash it with Odin while in download mode. You should know how to do that.
After it's finished, complete setup (do not restore any backups yet!) and go into download mode again. Flash the file as AP or USERDATA (whatever works) and perform another factory reset. Done.
So i just reflashed stock because Beyond rom is givving me issues, says you removed all the BS from the boot screens but i still have that unlocked bootloader msg. i flashed in AP with no issues, that msg mean it didnt work?

Ok disabled the autocorrection. What I was trying to say is: The unlocked bootloader message is still there just without the bull**** about your phone being vulnerable to hackers and this other ****. It now just says that it is unlocked.

That can't be an issue with the script as it doesn't modify anything related to the camera

Short answer: Yes
Long answer: You are unlocking your bootloader and flashing a custom image so you lose your warranty and trip knox
