Somethings to note;
This zip is a monster 7.7gb.
I could not dirty flash and had to do a full wipe.
I could not update Galaxy apps over WiFi, only on LTE. (it may be a network issue unique to me, ymmv.)
Initial boot took FOREVER. It felt like 10 minutes. Loaded on your device its close to 35gb once booted. So what I' saying is be patient on first boot, because activation took another 10.

Great!
but... Will this trip Knox flag 0x0 on regular version?
Thanks for your work.
Compatible devices?

@6h0st this is untouched (not rooted), from Samsung, so theoretically there wont be any knox problems. @speedyjay I'm not sure if there are any flash restrictions between devices (other than Snapdragon vs Exynos). I haven't had any issues as of yet, but I could be both very wrong and extremely lucky. I can say with 100% confidence it works great on N975U & U1 as this is a U1 firmware on my U device.

From OP it looks like stock.
Hey guys, I've moved this to the general section for now given it's not exactly a rom and more of a stock firmware. Also any update on a download link? I realize you may have gotten excited and decided to draw up an op which I totally get. It does take quite a bit of time and effort to make one. My guess is that you had hoped it would be uploaded by the time you made it and it either failed to upload or took too long. As I'm sure you know XDA doesn't really like the whole place holder thing so let's try to get the link set for people. Please ping me here when you get it all set. If we can't get the links resolved soon the thread will be of no use and have to be closed. So fingers crossed you can get this sorted out shortly
Almost 8GB???! Great Scott! Does it turn our phones into a cybertruck?
Morning, @Negan. Thanks for the move. AFH failed, I was up until 0200 trying to up the zip, but AFH misfired. I'm uploading to Mega now and should have a proper working link in about an hour or so. Thanks for your patience!
Edit:
Upload complete and hash verified. Enjoy folks!

See this is where it all began... *#1234#* had me on 3 different versions & when I would try to update it would say "unsupported version goto service center blah". So I fired up Odins other half (Frija) and pulled the latest version for the N975U1 with XAA region to minimize bloat. What I downloaded was this 7+gb firmware (that rocks btw), and now it says I'm upto date. Ill know in January when the new patch drops!
Thanks for sharing this with the comunity. A few questions and concerns, first (question), can we revert back to stock non-dark side rom from this?
Second (concern)-you uploaded to mega, not everyone has a mega accnt, an accnt is requiered after certain file size so getting it from there in a no go?.
Third (question), I checked using frija and samfirm, both showed the same firmware with same file size (7+Gb) using diferent CSC's, TMB, USC and XAA, Are they the same?, meaning they ALL are Dark Side edition.
Sorry to bother you with all this, but my note 10+ is on at&t and we all know how difficult the process is for this specific carrier because of the online firmware availabilty and teh specifics on how and what to flash we we switch firmwares.

Not a bother at all! Ill try and answer in their order:
1. Being an ATT device, I think the only challenge is finding the proper stock firmware for going back. I would suggest that you have a copy of the ATT firmware on hand before flashing, in case things go sideways. That being said however, reverting back to any other firmware or rom should be like replacing any other rom/firmware. Because this is stock that has been heavily themed by the OEM in preparation for joint release of the final Star Wars movie, 'Rise of Skywalker'. I think worst case scenario would be you spend all day downloading and flashing different roms until it works.
2. Easiest solution: Open a free Mega account if you want to download it. Or dont make one and don't download. All the choices belongs to you. Finding a (reliable) file host for a file that is sooo big is incredibly difficult. AnonFiles, HugeFIles and a couple more still require the uploader to make an account. I already had a Mega account so I used it.
3. I don't know, I would bet yes if its 7+gb. Happy flashing!
I started with an Unlocked note 10 plus SM-N975U1 downloaded the zip from Frija used odin it booted with the dark side theme applied and December patch.
Also you can use the default theme which is what i was use to. Thanks

Probably not, it's merely 5Gb.
Downloaded and installed. As expected, a wipe ( or using CSC, not Home CSC) is required. Since I got the 10+ I haven't done a clean install , so besides the visual dark theme, it feels like the phone is responding quicker. Pretty sure it isn't placebo, but a result of starting all from scratch. Thanks for the link to Mega to download. Feels a bit like the good old flash OCD days ..

Is Kies picking any updates up yet?

Interesting. Here's a reminder of the build details for JK1 (dial *#*#44336#*#*):

PHONE: P1000XXJK1
CSC: P1000OXAJK1

Change List: 589527
Should I go through the pain of re-installing all my apps, settings and root-tweaks just for the sake of a build 9 days more recent than JK1 ?
Going from JJK1 to JJK5:
If you select only "PDA", no PIT file/repartition, no Modem, no CSC and this file the update will not delete your user applications/data/...
Only thing I needed to do after was to re-root it.
PS: But better be safe than sorry and make a backup anyway

Had to re-root, used the z4-Mod app this time (last time I did it entirely manually, via the shell). Reboot...all fine (so far)
EDIT: the system apps remained with their latest updates, but my XDA-sourced Gallery3D apk (in /system/app/) was replaced with the JK5 flash...not a big deal, I'll just overwrite it again, if the sensor bug comes back ! UPDATE: yep, Gallery sensor bug still here...app replaced !
EDIT: AdFree had to be re-activated (no big deal, just something to think about after flashing).
Upgraded from JK1 to JK5 too, without issue.

Dave

Have you noticed any signicant differences between the two versions? Any noticeable improvements? Worth doing it? I always like having the latest but with this being setup just the way I want it, I don't wanna risk not being to do it again. Thanks

Grabbing ROMs from unknown sources, without any change-log whatsoever is a little risky...the only reason for doing it is intellectual curiosity, and the confidence to restore the system if anything fails.

I was quite worried about flashing the PDA component over my nicely-configured Android machine (which took me some time to get how I wanted it to be)...so I made a full Titanium backup just in case (apps+data), and I took notes of the few changes I made to the core system. As it turned out, the transition to JK5 was very smooth, everything that's visible on the surface remained the same...I guess the real changes are buried under the hood...god knows exactly what changed !

Try Sam Firmware site.
Doesn't look like they've got the exact firmware but you might be happy with something else under the "Asia" group of firmware.
You will need Odin to flash this. Instructions are on the website. And you will need to create a login (simple, nothing much requested to create a profile).
Could someone provide modem file for this firmware???
Ok will definitely try it. Too bad it's not JPO, tho. So after flashing this, is it ok to put in an optimized kernel and stuff?
I got the phone up and running altlast yay... but via recovery mode.. still very eager to upgrade... but with this NZ version if possible
Have you got any way of posting the rom? I have tried upgrading via the keis registry hack and it tells me that the original jj1 is not ready for upgrade.
Any help would be appreciated. I am on the Telecom network.
Cheers.
Be great if the modem from the TNZ could be extracted!
For ROM downloading, try this guy here:
http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000...41/samsung-mobile-firmware-queries-downloads/
I think he's ok. I once sent him 6 euros for a query and a download request and he returned them right back, because my specific ROM wasn't available.
Thanks for the link mate
I'm watching this one as well. After bricking my I9000T already trying to get to 2.2 I'm ikely to try this soon (when I get it back). Not game to do it on the wifes phone
Do we know if this is official TNZ branded firmware, or generic/unbranded?
@all, will this get the official froyo on my 850 next g telstra(australia) I9000T? and can you plzz tellme how to upgrade with kies hack? sorry im a noob, plzz help me out..id be greatful. cheers
Open up 'regedit' and go to the 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Samsung\Kies\DeviceDB' key. Then delete all the keys below it (i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...).
Then open Kies and connect your phone so that it is detected by Kies.
Close Kies and run the EXE that you download for the Registry Patcher (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=835628).
You should get a prompt to set the patch to 'True', select your sales code (not sure what Telstra is sorry), the current versions you want to report etc.
I haven't gone any further than that personally as I don't have 'my' phone back and the risk of problems from doing the wife's is just too frighting LOL.

I'm with Telstra (GT-9000T) and I flashed this with Kies and the reg patcher. Works well, 850 band still there had to put the Telstra info back in for MMS and Internet.
This had a "telecom" splash on start up and two apps from the the same brand. Still much better then the 26 Telstra puts on.
Hope this helps.

Guessing the two apps were 'Y!X TWorld' and 'Your Telecom'? That is pretty much the Telecom customised firmware then. While I hate customised firmware I'm pretty keen to get to 2.2 so perhaps the wife's phone will succumb afterall

I was really surprised when I got the phone home a few weeks ago that I couldn't immediately update to 2.2, seeing is it has been out for months and all. I guess that's one of the annoying things about each hardware manufacturing trying to put their personal touch on things. Might look at the Nexus S for this reason a bit later...

It is a sprint package. My focus is recovery with UnBrickable mod. This is part of a system of recovery for use with Linux where a device which wont boot needs a firmware flash from temporarily uploaded bootloaders.
I'll get a vzw package up. I totally forgot about carrier branding.
Yeah this will be great for VZW. I was thinking of selling mine and returning it to stock but when I tried it said baseband was EI04 but it was android version 2.2??!??? will your method, when u post it, take us back to stock 2.3.5 EI04?

tried this tonight on VZW tab - flash goes fine - when I try activation bypass with volume up/down, it works initially, then lets me proceed with setup, but when setup is done and get prompt that galaxy tab is ready to use, it takes me back to the "welcome to SCH-I800" screen (which I've never seen on any ROM - can't remember if it was there when I first got the tab stock and set it up) - when I touch the android, it takes me back to activation screen, but activation bypass will not work this time - perhaps some remnants of your Sprint files still there? Have reflashed three times, same result - I don't know - so close to working - I'm trying to get back to stock DJ11 so I can update to stock 2.3.5 - anyone else having this problem?

They're two different packages. Different kernels ROMs and Params and cache. You're experiencing a stock ROM which requires activation.

Understood that it's stock - but even on out of the box, totally stock tabs the bypass trick works - something weird about they way it will take you through the setup process perfectly, only to bring you back to the android screen, which you do not see initially - I don't use a data plan, just wi-fi - you've done such a great job here, so close - is there any workaround?
If only this could restore modem... I would've named it the holy grail of Galaxy Tab.
I've released information on creating your own Heimdall one-Click here: [Release] Heimdall One-Click - ROM Packaging and Distribution System
I know this is an old thread but I need some assistance from whoever can provide it. I am trying to return my Sprint tab to stock with the one click but I am having a hard time.
I try to do it, but I am constantly running into walls.
I try to flash but it gets stuck on the last step where it says that it has to reboot the tab. then the one click screen says disconnected. And the computer says that it found new hardware. The tab stays looping at the samsung screen.
What should I do to get out of this?
I feel your pain! I wound up bootlooping my Sprint Tab yesterday.
I didn't see this thread, so I don't have any experience with this particular tool. However, I did manage to recover my Sprint through information I found on the forums.
You should still be able to put it back into download mode. Then using Odin/Heimdall, you can flash it back to stock with the stuff found in this post: Stock Odin/Heimdall Files: Stock EF17 Tar
Also, the [SPRINT][CDMA]Galaxy Tab (SPH-P100) Mega Development Starter Thread (CWM, EF17 TAR) thread was pretty helpful too.
Hope this gets you headed in the right direction, I haven't done much flashing with my tablet and the information above wound up helping me out.
Please Reupload Stock Firmware
Hey wondering if anybody still has the one click file for sprint sph p100
I can't find any good download links for sph p100 seems like they are too old.
Thanks
For those who aren't already aware, N975U is the model number of all of the US carrier versions of the Note 10+. The N975U1 is the model number of the same device, but sold by Samsung SIM unlocked and with no carrier bloatware. Firmware is 100% interchangeable among these models: any U or U1 firmware version can be flashed to any U or U1 device at any time, assuming that you're not trying to downgrade the bootloader. A "U to U" or "U1 to U1" flash does not require a factory reset, but changing from one firmware to the other will require one. Also, U firmware is identical for the 4 base files (AP, BL, CP, CSC) for each individual build, no matter which carrier it comes from. So if you download 2 different carrier versions of the exact same build, the 4 base files will be identical. Where the firmware differs is in the USERDATA file - that's where the carrier bloatware and customizations reside.
This is not a "beginner's guide to Odin flashing" type post/thread, so I won't list basic, step-by-step flashing instructions. My threads are geared towards those who already know what they're doing. If you're new to manually flashing Samsung firmware, I recommend you consult one of the "beginner's" posts/threads - there are tons of them here on XDA.
Happy flashing!
U firmware: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=297979
U1 firmware: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=297980
NOTES:
- DON'T QUOTE THE OP WHEN YOU REPLY, kthx
- I have an identical thread for the Note 10 if you're interested
- My zips are compressed extra small for space and bandwidth savings. The default Windows extractor can't handle it, so you'll need a 3rd party tool like 7zip, WinRAR, etc
- My naming method for folders on AFH is: build - bootloader - Android version
So "SAT - 1 - 9.0" means the full build number ends in SAT, it's bootloader version 1, and it's Android 9.0. When bootloader and Android versions increment, the first build to have those changes will have its folder notated appropriately.
- HOME CSC file keeps data intact; using the other CSC will wipe data. Flashing USERDATA will also wipe data
- I know AFH servers/mirrors can be wonky sometimes, so if you want to download the latest version of whatever firmware you're seeking yourself, you can do so via SamFirm or Frija (plenty of links and threads here on XDA). I pay for a subscription to a site that gets beta builds and also gets the official releases (usually) before they hit SamFirm, so that's where my files come from. However, I don't have unlimited bandwidth on the site, and it's also quite time consuming to download the files, zip them up, and upload them to AFH. And, I do threads like this for every single Sx and Note x model - so I won't be uploading every single update version. The only full builds that I upload are ones where I get access to a new bootloader and/or Android version early, before they hit SamFirm.
- You can get USERDATAs from SamFirm for everything but AT&T and Cricket- those files will never be on SamFirm. So I'll try to always upload at least one USERDATA per bootloader increment for those carriers, and I'll also upload any full builds if AT&T is the only carrier to get that specific build, because you won't be able to find the files anywhere else.
- For USERDATAS (all the others are self explanatory):
AIO = Cricket
CCT = Xfinity Mobile (Comcast)
CHA - Spectrum Mobile (Charter)
TMK = Metro PCS
- the correct procedure for switching from one carrier's firmware to another is:
1. Flash full U1 firmware package including non HOME CSC
2. Upon boot, insert a SIM of the carrier whose firmware you want
3. Watch for the popup that says "reboot to apply new carrier settings" etc, and do it
4. After that restart completes, reboot back to Download mode and flash the full U firmware package, with the USERDATA file of the carrier whose firmware you want
Folder is empty

Where are people even getting these? I've been mashing their SmartSwitch server for N975U1UEU1ASGO/N975U1OYM1ASGO/N975U1UEU1ASGO for nearly a week now and it's still not available.

Samsung firmware never hits until the device is actually released. Maybe a day before, if that
Appreciate the files though. Flashed the U1 firmware, works great.

Same 3.13 3b Patched Odin?
for note 10 and 10+ :
Open up the S/W Installation Program by executing the "Odin3 v3.13.3.exe"
* Note : "Odin v3.13.2 or above" checks MD5 checksum just after file selection.

@iBowToAndroid
Thanks for sharing files! They will be very helpful since I had to port back over to AT&T from tmo because of such poor coverage where I live.
@Venom0642 look forward to you sharing as well
I think everyone sometimes mistakes your excitement for bragging lol (we've had this conversation before). I guess most people don't have $3000 extra! Your contributions are appreciated

Very good, and thank you.
First of all, I would like to say, very nice work! I have been looking for this possibility for a really long time.
My S7 has the latest binary version 8. When I look at the screenshots, I also see a version 8.
I have two questions about this:
Is it possible to keep my own CSC or is it only possible to use XEO?
Do I flash everything via TWRP or do I also need Odin?

Thanks for your quick reply. That would be very nice of you, if you could make it suitable for me with the CSC DBT. You do not believe how much you do me a favor with this.

So I tried the DBT version. It sadly didn't boot like you said it would. Now I have flashed your version. Still it boots, I think with the Samsung logo I have to wait just 10-20 minutes as you mentioned. After that I'll see if it worked for me. But thanks never less!
Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to work either. It is still at the Samsung logo. Too bad. Nevertheless, thank you. I just don't understand Samsung, why they forbid you to make a downgrade....
try format data
I always format data as well, since I don't like to flash dirty.

No problem. Thanks for your time aniway.
Couldn't downgrade. Followed instructions and did it twice. First time Samsung logo with S G930 appeared and the LED was off, then repeated the steps and only SAMSUNG + LED on, but no result, stuck at it
