Sorry If In Wrong Place.
Hi To All Readers,
**** HELP PLEASE ****
I have a Samsung Galaxy W I8150, I downloaded the latest Kies software on my pc, OS. Windows 7 + connected my device + got an option to upgrade to latest version.
I clicked upgrade, followed all the on-screen instructions, by the looks of this matter, it took my old software out, but could not install the New Update on my phone, I even tried the Error connection in troubleshooting menu in Kies, still no joy.
Showing up as device not recognised, I tried this procedure many times, but still same problem.
So I had to unplug my device, but now my device does not boot up, when I switch it on, starts of with a welcome screen: Samsung Galaxy W wonder I8150\ + then a small white box with an yellow arrow pointing towards a green android appears in the middle of the screen.
That is all I keep on getting when I switch my device on, every time.
If I try to plug the charger it stays same except at first a battery image appears in the middle of the screen.
All help appreciated, Thanks
Can you get into download mode? Remove battery then plug it back in.
Then Volume Down + Home + Power.

Hello,
I'm getting this error on kies "Your device does not support software upgrading via Kies". I've done some searching around the forums and it seems that changing the CSC resolves this issue.
I'm in saudi arabia and my CSC is KSA which is what it should be but i dont understand why im getting this error on kies?
any help?

try update via FOTA which is go to
setting>>about phone>>software update>>update (need some registration on this menu)
hope this will help
i tried the OTA update method but i guess there is no update in my region.
Btw ive flashed the custom rom by kezra successfully and it has been working fine till now.
I just want to change the CSC code now because i lost the arabic language support. I dont use it as my default language in the phone but i do receive some messages in arabic and they are unreadable.
I got the same "custom OS" screen just a few minutes ago as niceguy15. I pressed volume down & it booted up normal. Is kies to blame? I've never used it. I have an unrooted Samsung stratosphere.
My new GN has the version 4.0.1,when i check system update, it said, download failed 8.7 MB,and that this download is 4.0.2.
At the bottom there is a Retry download button, but after i press it it does nothing
Any solution?
Did u try to reboot
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Do yo mean turn it off and on ,yes i did, maybe a factory reset????
You can try to pull the battery out for a few moment, put it back, reboot to Android and see if you can download the OTA 4.0.2.
If not, use the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit from mskip :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1392310
and download the stock image 4.0.2 :
http://code.google.com/android/nexus/images.html
Hope it helps.
Problem solved ,A factory reset did it , just one minute after it i got the update, now ill be testing my brand new GN thx for the help
Hi masters,
I have problem with my Samsung google nexus, firstly i purchased in singapore when i went to holiday so thecnical service is only valid in purchased conutry,
so i really need help.
I have a galaxy nexus and for the past week it keeps telling me to install the new software update. When I begin the install, the SGN reboots and you see a black screen with a white google logo and then it just freezes on this screen. I left it on this screen thinking it was "doing it's thing"....left it there for hours. Still nothing. I've tried more times than I can count and it keeps doing this.
At this point, I just want to try reset the phone because it may fix when i reset it. I tried to both reset in settings and hard reset but same thing did. it freezs a black screen with a white google logo.
now i am unable to reset and update my phone.. please help i have to solve this problem myself...
thanks...

Take a look to the thread " unbrick and restore " from Tomsgt here you find a guide
galaxy tab 3 7
I have finally managed to fix the flickering screen by re installing a new firmware. Odin 3.07 wouldnt work, but odin 3.185 did for some reason!!! Now is there a root for this that won't put me in this position again. I am sure this has been asked and answered somewhere else, but I can't find it.
The previous root I did installed an old firmware, which caused the problem,
The auto display feature on this tablet still leaves the screen too dark,so I have had to disable this feature. Anny ideas anyone, thank in advance for any help

Go to dev Thread and usw the thread Cwm for sm-t210/r
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433853
I had the same issue when i was stuck on boot loop, install a different recovery, i used CWM, and then install a different rom. Allot of the stuff here works across different platforms and it works fine but sometimes it cause the flicker.... good luck
I think you went into the developer options and clicked on the show screen updates. It will flicker all the time until you disselect it.

Hi everyone i have a problem with a Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Sm-T800. I've been using since past novemeber so i hace almost a year with this great device.
But today i have a problem two days ago i was using normally my tab when i finish using i shutdown the device so today i turn it on but the Wifi and bluetooth buttons are unable to turn it on they stuck in gray color so i don't know what happen i already do the factory reset like 3 times and no response at all?
I friend told me to reinstall the firmware with odin i don't know what to do and if that is correct!
please someone can tell what to do with.
Note: It's running on 5.0.2 and my device is already rooted
Have you deleted any system files that might control wifi and bluetooth, an normal reset will not normally replace these files.
Have a look at the link below, it mention hard reset, to replace damaged system files, though the English is poor, I dont know if this is correct or if you will need to do flash an stock rom to fix your tablet as i have not faced this problem myself, hopefully and more informed owner with help you.

Then i try to do it with TWRP with this rom that i found here:

Hold POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN.
As soon as the screen goes blank change to VOL UP whilst still holding the other buttons until recovery boots.

Someone had a similar problem with the Tab 4. It could be a missing mac file or something which causes it not to turn on. Take a look at this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=56474891

Hi there,
I have exactly the same problem with the 8.4 version (SM-T705).
I didn't root it or changed the official rom and have it since a little more than a year. I suspect a hardware break.

I guess you didn't notice that this thread is almost a year old. Maybe you should start a new topic.
