400GB Microsd - Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Questions & Answers

Sorry I may have asked the question at wrong selection.
Is there a way using 400GB at Mi Max 3?

I am using a 512GB card currently without any issues.

[Q] Will SGN2 N7100 support 128gb micro SD?

I'm just wondering if it will. I saw a guy say in main note 2 category that he's using 128gb for note 1.
Oh snap! I don't have a witty tapatalk signature!
There was a post earlier from someone who wired a 128GB SDXC card to the pins of a microSD card. The Note 2 seemed to read it just fine. So 128 gig microSD cards (whenever they become available) should work

128GB card for I9301I

Hi, I was thinking about expanding my device memory via micro sd card and of course i aimed for 64GB BUT then I asked myself "hey, how about 128GB? great idea!". So here's my question: have anyone tried 128GB card in our S3 Neo?
It wont work ... s3 neo only supports up to 64GB
I am using 64GB
Works perfectly

Galaxy S3 Neo supports up to 64GB MicroSD card :/
Quick tip: If you're going to buy your SD card online beware of fake cards !!!
I think it can handle it because my old phone only supported 32 GB and I inserted my 64 one and after a short time I could usw it normally so it should work too.

Buy in online store, test SD card and return it if it does not work. If you live in EU i think you have 14 days to contact, return and get refund from item.

Has anyone tried 400gb SanDisk on Max 3?

I've lost my 128gb somewhere, want to go all in with 400gb if I could
I din't have 400Gb but my 256Gb Samsung Evo work perfectly fine on Max 3.

Max SD Card for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (SM-T810)

Dear all,
I am trying to establish the max SD card I can use in my Tablet. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 (Wi-Fi) bought in the UK.
The full specs state 128G samsungcom-uk-tablets-galaxy-tab-s2-9-7-t813-SM-T813NZKEBTU but that is simply not true. I am currently using a 256G Samsung Evo Plus card (
Funnily, the Samsung US website reports something different from the UK one (samsungcom-us-support-owners-product-galaxy-tab-s2-9-7-wi-fi), namely:"External Memory/microSD™ Capacity Up to 400GB with a microSD™, up to 128GB"
I would like to expand from 256 to 400 (amazonuk-gp-product-B074RNRM2B-ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza) but ideally I have some reassurance that it will actually work in my device.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rob

Your thread title references the T810, but you asked about T813. Which one do you have?
Anyway, the max advertised SD card size id dependent on the file format that the android version with which the tablet ships with is compatible.
If you're running a custom rom of the same version as the latest stock that's available for either model, rest assured that your 400GB card is more than compatible

Assuming I'm not wrong, it supports MicroSDXC which is theoretically capable of 4TB. Obviously though no such cards exist yet. But I can say my stock and custom ROMs for my T-713 support my new 400GB card.
My wife's Galaxy Tab S2 8" is not rooted, same stock as from the factory. She has tons of pictures. Can anyone confirm a Sandisk 512 Extreme SD Micro card will work in these tablets?
I do wonder also if the units default to a certain speed where the more expensive and faster SD cards will not make a noticeable difference.
Really I am just looking for a 400gb or 512gb sd card that is reliable. She already has 248gb of pictures!
My Stock SM-T813 running Android 7.0 is currently using a Sandisk 400GB card with no issues.

I just got official green evo 512gb card from Samsung this holiday for $30 because of rebate from Samsung pay reward points. Yes it work in my Galaxy tab s2 9.7 sm-t813.

Micro SD Card Capacity

The spec for the Tab S4 states the memory is "expandable up to 400GB via microSD card".
Has anyone tried to install a 512GB micro SD card?

Thank you. Much appreciated.
Just a heads up, most OEM's only list the sd cards available at the time of launch. This is a proven fact that this size works but how can you say a 2 tb card will work if it hasn't been tested?
They will NEVER state that a higher card will work if it hasn't been tried as this is false advertising and can lead to being sued if later it turns out to be false.
Best advice, theoretical limit of SDXC is 2 Tb, if your phone/tablet can handle a 64gb sd card it should be able to handle anything up to that, beware of format though (FAT32, exFAT OR NTFS) as some devices are limited by software...
And this has been discussed before....
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s4/accessories/best-memory-card-t3937631
Per that thread, Ultramag also has a 512gb card
And I've used an external 1TB hard drive without problems; the system sees it as a USB storage drive. Only complication is that it is NTFS. How I wish NTFS played better with Android.
I've gone back and forth on which brand to go with for 512MB; most reviews suggests SanDisk Extreme has the best performance (higher read speeds + equal write speeds), but it is nearly twice the cost of Samsung, PNY, and others ($160ish vs $90ish). I wish I could get a 1 TB SanDisk, but way outside my price zone. I'm planning on going with PNY once my CC rewards Amazon card gets delivered.

So I got my new card. I couldn't be happier. My write speed has gone from 15 MB/s to 50 MB/s. Read speed is 80MB/s.
My old card:
SanDisk 400GB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - up to 100MB/s read speed and no write speed specified, Class 10, U1, Full HD, A1
My new card:
PNY U3 Pro Elite MicroSD Card - 512GB, Class 10, U3, V30, A2, up to 100MB/s read speed and up to 90MB/s write speed
I don't pretend to fully understand all the techno babble related to micro SD cards -- U-This, V-That, Class-Whatever, Up-To-Speed that isn't attainable in real life. But this is noticeably faster for transferring from internal memory to the external card.
Go for the highest speed ratings you can -- it is worth it.
Joe
FYI, because I read $160 for a 512GB card, I just bought a SanDisk Extreme 400GB at Amazon.de (ASIN B07FCQRN9K, sold and shipped from Amazon) for EUR 74. It's back at EUR 99 right now, but I bet it will some down again before Christmas. Also the Samsung 512GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSDXC Evo Select (ASIN B07MKSGZM6) is at $65 right now. That's the same card as the Samsung Evo Plus, it's just a rebrand for Amazon. It has pretty lousy *random* write speeds, and thus no A1 or A2 rating, but is fine for sequential writes, so if you're worried about copying larger files from internal storage, it should be just as fast as a SanDisk Extreme doing that.
And I just see that amazon.com has the 400 GB extreme for $78 right now, so if you don't strictly need the extra 112 GB, you can save the extra 50-60 bucks. So these days, if you aren't setting your mind on a specific model you can get good value for the money.
