Hey, how are you? I have an ANE-LX3 and I'm from Venezuela but I haven't received the update yet . How is your battery performance now with EMUI 9.1?
Battery seems great, 10-15 hours, unless I'm hitting Youtube heavy. Only issue I have is if running battery saver mode the auto screen dimming is annoying

I've been searching this forums.. and in a lot of other places, but I can't find the answer to my problem yet.
My GN is GSM and from late november, made the OTA to 4.0.2. in february and got no problems.
And since about 15 days, I've got HUGE (really, really huge) battery drains.
I've searched for a wake lock, found two ( AudioOut_1 and automatic save).. but that didn't improve much..
Now, even when my phone is in airplane mode, the battery drains.. I go from 80% to about 25% in 1h30 in airplane mode !
... and I don't find any problems on any apps (looking with BetterbatteryStats or Badass Battery Monitor).. only a quite high Kernel usage (between 20 and 30%).
Anyone has an idea about what is happening ? My battery is already dead ?
Until 2 days back I kept on dismissing the upgrade card because of the battery issues described by XDA users and then got tired and upgraded to MWD49B. This update was brilliant as it reduced my battery usage from 2.5% to 1.3% per hour. I was very happy with it and then I saw another update today and then updated to M1D63G. There starts the problem. My battery usage increased to 6.1% and increasing.
Is there any way I can rollback to the brilliant MWD49B?
Yes, I like to have this Version too. The test version on my watch is annoying me!

I'd like to roll back, my battery life was really good, now it's terrible since the update, just went from 58% to 12% during a meeting with very minimal use, WIFI off, GPS off Fit off!
maybe try resetting your watch? mines been off the charger for 6.5h and I'm at 84%. Wi-Fi, GPS, ambient display, fit... everything on

I have A3 2017 and the battery drain while charging. Any solution for this problem?
i have one to and it seems that the phone stops charging when it get hot and the drain starts ... try not to use it while it charges and see if it stil happens

I contacted samsung for this problem and they informed me that they will be issuing a patch to alleviate the problem soon, how soon they did not say.
The advise to do nothing...yet

Hi i have the A5 but i think soft is similar to same.
there is an option under maintance->right corner the 3 dots-> Fast charge and deactivate it, there is aswell written why you should do so, when battery get hot while charging...hello? this can not be good for the battery cells.. and with integrated one ....bad idea
My phone is 2 weeks new and battery holds only a day without usage, only display always on feature to get informed, because there is no more informing LED, i adjusted my brightness to auto and 25%... and as i browse today while waiting some around 6 to 9% went away in minutes...normal?

a3 doesnt support fast charge
problem solved
The problem was solved when a patch was released by samsung (last friday) and I applied it to my A3. Now everything is as before. One note however, I think Android 7 consumes more energy than the previous version.

3 days ago, I purchased a brand new Galaxy S9. Fantastic display and design, performance, very smooth, but:
I updated my S9 to Pie (May security Patch) and It is warm and sometimes hot (when I use it for 15/20 mins for normal task like WhatsApp or seeing a video on YT) and I can do only 3.3/4 hrs of screen on time.. it is very low, I have to charge it twice a day..
Another question:
There is a Google Camera with Portrait Mode, HDR+ and, if possibile, Night mode working for Galaxy S9 Exynos version? I've searched on all sites including XDA and I found some APK's, but none of these working..
Someone have the same problems? How to solve these? Do you advise me to install a custom rom like DevBase or Soldier ROM to get better battery life and no warm up/heat up?

I have the exynos S9 with may update installed, my phone doesn't get too warm unless I use it heavily or when it's charging. For battery life, I agree, but it's not a big deal for me since I bought a powerbank. Just wait for june update which includes night mode and other improvements, it might fix your issues as well.

Well, now in lebanon the temperature is above 30°C so the phone is warm all the time, if you're living in a country with a similar weather then it's normal.
And yeah, battery life is annoying.

I live in Milan and right now the temperature is above 32/33°C.. but I hate battery life of this phone. Looks like We are back to 2012.
For me it's already available in Poland (EUX firmware) along with february security update, it's about 2GB in size.
People on Reddit are reporting that it's much smoother and also RAM management has been improved alot.

For me, the update is terrible so far. Battery life is almost non existant, had 22-23 hrs of expected runtime on full battery, now it's more like 18 hrs. It's unacceptable and the worst thing is that the update can't be reverted...
Notice that S22 Snapdragon is heating more than before with 5.1.
Everything smoother on my S22 right now, enjoying more the animations. Screenshot folder selection has been one of the greatest additions to solve a realy old problem with OneUI. Battery life is almost the same as before.
The only thing that annoyed me is the volume slider not having customized colors, but the new options are welcome.
My S22+ is heating up crazy after the update. Due to this, my battery is draining fast. Cannot charge the phone due to s/w cutting off charging due to overheating. The phone is even heating on idle. Update with caution.

After a few days and restarts, the SOT is back to normal.
