Hi guys,
I pretty much got the G3 despite its QHD screen, but would actually prefer FullHD for performance reasons.
Can someone please tell me if there is a current and proven way to change the resolution across reboots without UI crashes? Can it be done with Fulmics?
I've tried doing it with Nomone resolution changer, 1920*1080 @ 485DPI. I tried raising the DPI to 530 for LG apps. Unfortunately, I get constant "com.android.phone has crashed" errors.

I think it won't but pay in mind that some of the MTC apps will look weird (malplaced lines or inner containers not taking full spaces on Bluetooth, Music and Equilizer).
I've changed the DPI of my MTCB-KLD2 (800*480) to 180 and works ok, waze and many other apps will look like running on a tablet resolution.
Hi guys, I noticed that on my unit eonon Ga8161 7.1 (px3 mtce KLD) setting a background is lost quality compared to see it in the gallery. I tried to resize the image, cut it with the original screen resolution 1024x600 but without any result .. The gallery quality is good but if set as a background, the image loses quality ..
Whether with original rom, with hal9k rom and now with the latest version malaysk rom, always the same problem
Do you have any solution or suggestion ?? Thank you
oh noes!!!!!
???
Hi
I'm currently using redmi note 8 running a custom rom.
Is there a way to lower the screen resolution from 1080p to 720p?
You can do this with root via terminal apps. Not done this for a while but the command used to be wm size. So you would for example use the command, "wm size 720x1080".
I only find guides for other devices. How to change resolution I know, but I am not sure which settings will work. Usually I just carefully try, but I read that Changing Resolution and Dpi bricked some MIUI 11 Devices, so I am not sure, if I should do it. A bit more performance and battery would be great, but right know no money for a new phone, if somethings going wrong
I use this

Hello guys:
I write you because yesterday I updated my Dasaita PX6 MAX10 to the latest version (HA3_rk3399_10.0_ota(20210507)) and MCU 3.75B and now I think my CarPlay app ( Zlink) is showed in a lower resolution than before. Normal Dasaita menu looks like the same but I don't know whyCarPlay has that problem.
Any advice??
Thanks a lot
Just in case you didn't figure it out yet, you can select HD in ZLink settings
