Hi guys, I noticed that on my unit eonon Ga8161 7.1 (px3 mtce KLD) setting a background is lost quality compared to see it in the gallery. I tried to resize the image, cut it with the original screen resolution 1024x600 but without any result .. The gallery quality is good but if set as a background, the image loses quality ..
Whether with original rom, with hal9k rom and now with the latest version malaysk rom, always the same problem

Does anybody recognised that the camera picture and video quality is worst with newer roms?
With O2 1.13.188 rom the camera works perfect. But If I upgrade the rom with a newer one I get blurry, overflashed pictures and video.
Is there any solution to solve this problem somehow?
I want to upgrade the rom but I want a good quality pictures too.

I recently bought a Sony Ericsson Arc and the images taken by its camera look pretty good on the phone it self, but wen it comes to downloading them on PC the results are quite unexpected. the image resolution is poor 400xXXX pixels or less and size is about 600kb (same shown in astro file explorer) although its taken on 8mpx settings and same with using HDR camera. I use universal android suit (i dont know maybe i need original sofware?) The question is how do I fix that Resolution problem? what settings and where? pls help

i don't believe hdr camera supports full resolution even if it claims it. Take a picture with the stock camera and check the resolution on that. What's universal Android suit?

HDR camera does support full resolution, I have taking several pictures with both SE camera app, HDR camera and Vignette all at 8MP and compared them with 100-200% magnification, the resolution on each is exactly the same, there is absolute no difference in the details recorded.
HDR camera does after combining three pictures increase color saturation and contrast for the whole picture and fine details. This makes the pictures look like they have more details but up close it is easy to see the same amount of details and same pixel sizes.
I have decided to uninstall Vignette as it add some very weird "pixel curtain" all over the pictures which initially gives it a larger file size as it add additional pixels which is not supposed to be there. This could give the wrong impression that it contains more details which is not the case.

I'm new to Android HU.
I have bought a MTCC-KLD6-V2.91, RK3188, 1024x600, running stock Android 5.1.1.
Image quality is not good, it's like a very compressed JPEG, with noise around text, poor gradients/shadows on movies.
Is that normal for this type of HU. Do you know what can cause this?
Attached is an example taken when using Play Store, highlights in the noise.
I've uploaded a video on Youtube but I'm not allowed to post the URL.
Here is an image of a gradient. It was supposed to be smooth, but it's all crappy, bad quality.

After updating android 6, I think the camera quality is not so good as 5.1 version. Can anyone tell me why ?
It's fine with mine.
It can't focus correctly, always blurred from front camera. With the old version of android ( 5.1) it was perfect but now , I am using 6.0, and it always takes pictures blurred... please someone who can help me ?

Found a weird bug on Oneplus 3 Stock Oxygen 3.2.6 and 3.2.7. When I try to select a new Image as my Profile picture or Group picture, the image loaded is zoomed in.
I can not zoom out or move the selector box around. I also tried changing my DPI from 400 to 380, but that too doesn't help. Looks to be a problem with the the Oxygen OS. I tried checking with another device too. Found the same problem.
Can someone please help me out with this ?

It's normal to have your profile picture zoomed in. I don't know to what extend yours is zoomed in, but if you compare with a friends phone it should be the same.
