Well, this is there south east asian site, I hope they release, afaik, its already available in Hong Kong.

As far as I know, the device is not released in Hong Kong yet. It's not even on HTC's HK website. And it's not in any of the major electronics retailers. Where have you found it in HK? I will go there at once to get one!

This is not officially a Hong Kong release. It is actually a UK version and will not be warranted by HK HTC.
That is why I have held back and wait for a bit. It should launch with in the next 2 weeks.

I agree. Still waiting for official release in HK. Besides, Expansys overcharges way too much. Eg. they charge 5425 HKD for Diamond2 while it's widely available in retail stores for 4880 HKD.

Yes, they do over charge now but at the time when it was launched they were only selling it at $4xxx.xx. The only reason I think the price has gone up is because of the exchange rate for GBP to HKD. I remember it because I was going to order it until I found that it was a UK version and not warranted by HK HTC.
BTW, CSL 1010 should have a better offer for the TP2 anyway. I will order it from them as soon as HTC announces a launch date in HK. They usually have a press conference with hot models (girls) showing off the phones.
I saw on ePrice.com.tw in Taiwan (sorry guys, the website is in Chinese), they have launched it over there, the first in Asia.
So HK will usually follow suit within a couple of weeks, just like the HTC Magic.

Just found out it launches in Hong Kong on Tuesday 9 June. Look here! I will call CSL to see if I can pre order it tomorrow.

I actually just ordered the device from Clove (http://www.clove.co.uk/viewProduct.aspx?product=C64E151D-03FE-49D1-8412-C266A9D3D48B). With DHL shipping, it came to 464 Euro which is about 5000 HKD. (Expecting it in a week!)

Yes, I found out today. Shame, I was expecting to go with CSL, it is only with Smartone Voda Phone and PCCW.
I will give Smartone a visit tomorrow to see when they are getting it in stock.
Wow, that is really cheap! Thing is, it won't be warranted by HTC HK. Which I think is more important than $700 HKD.

2000mah Samsung Extended Battery in stock at Amazon UK on Monday 14th Nov 2011

I've just spoken to Amazon UK who have confirmed they are expecting 500 of the International (non NFC) version of the 2000mah Genuine Samsung battery in stock from Monday.
They should have been on the system today but will now not get uploaded till Monday.
This info is provided in good faith based on what I've been told, don't hang me if it doesn't happen.
I've placed my orders before posting here so help yourselves everyone.

I know the picture looks like the korean version but i'll be very surprised if amazon uk supply battery which will not be compatible with the uk phone

Nothing yet on the blue one I ordered

I just bought it today in China (Beijing) at a Xiaomi store. It's fantastic.

Nobody has had a 6GB/128GB model ship yet then? Some people recieved notes on their orders saying it would ship on Friday. I recieved one 10 days ago saying it would ship next Wednesday.

I've given up on Aliexpress. I had 3 separate orders with Mi Global, HKG and Mi Store and they're useless at replying to messages and they won't give me a solid date for dispatch.
I've followed TechTablets' (YouTuber) advise and gone with Trading Shenhzen as they have stock of the 128GB gold/white model. The price + postage worked out a smidge higher but they actually respond to messages and they give you the option of the Chinese ROM or that bootleg "global" ROM. They're already processing my order which is fantastic considering I only ordered a few hours ago.

Black and Blue models out of stock there aswell though, cant stand gold phones.

I'm still waiting on my black 6gb/128gb from Mi Global Store on AliExpress. Ordered July 30. Haven't had any replies after they offered to compensate the delay with a free mi band 3. Basically, they, like the rest, did a pre-sale since this version only went live officially on August 10th on Xiaomi's website. I waited this long, so I'll keep waiting for a few more days. No other place has black or blue. I'm not a fan of white/gold either.

Thanks, at least we know its actually been produced and sent out to stores then, Wednesday will be the end of the 2 weeks they asked me to wait, hopefully hear something in the next couple of days.

Yep, I spoke to geekbuying. They don't get their pre-order stock until August 15th, so I think that's when online 6gb/128GB start shipping.

Yes, Trading Shenhzen is the best shop IMO. Hong Kong Goldway at Aliexpress use to be great but not anymore.

I have mine being shipped to me now. I was able to buy it off China's biggest e-commerce website taobao, and have it shipped to me in Malaysia. Logistics is going to take some time, and I hope I can get it within a week or two.

All Mi Max 3 will have those bands. You can buy / preorder from AliExpress, Gearbest, Geekbuying, Honorbuy, etc., etc.
BUT currently only the Chinese ROM is available, global ROM is rumoured to be released soon.

What about the play store. Is it installed on the phone?

Not on the Chinese ROM. Some resellers will install it before shipping but personally I would request them to leave the box sealed.

This is the only place making the 256GB L29 claim, but yet there is no confirmation, ALSO if this is true, then there is a 3rd version, as this company claims L29 is only going to have 6GB of ram with either 128GB or 256GB internal memory, which I cant believe.

Was this confirmed? On pdaplaza .ca they also list global 8gb/256gb phones for $1550.00 cad.

Although a 8GB model is unlikely....both the blue and silver may be available in the international model soon. Keep your eye on Singapore.
Singapore "normally" stocks international models (vice mainland Chinese models). Taken from the news article below:

Yeah I emailed them about it, and I got an email back a week later telling me they made a typo, I'm sure enough people complained and they finally took it down.

Yep in another thread this was being talked about (All about the mate 2 x and where to buy), I already purchased this, waiting for it to come in and see if its the real deal, if not they assured me I can get a full refund including shipping, and they are sending me a return label with my phone just in case.

That’s why I discussed with you exactly this, I do not want the 128GB version, I clearly asked this yesterday, and you confirmed 256GB, I do not want 6/128GB. Please return my payment.
Thats the trick, play on people with fake advertisement and then do the switch and hope the customer still wants it, F! AHoles. That pisses me off, I didnt need to waste half the night back and forth to be BS-ed.

Question Question: Where it ships from

Hi fine people!
After ordering my 8 Pro an hour after launch, I finally got a shipment notification and tracking number this evening (yay). However, I noticed it is shipping from Hong Kong to me in New Jersey, U.S. My question is, will it still be the global version? I don't want the China version. I thought that U.S. shipments were shipping from the west coast, somewhere from California. Do I need to be concerned?

if you ordered from the website (. Com) then it won't be the China variant.
Mine was also shipped from HK, EU version.
But anyway, you can flash any version you like by using local update
