[REQUEST] New Forum (Huawei)

Hi.
Due to the movement of the Huawei Devices (Not only Pulse/Pulse Mini), I want to request a generic Huawei forum for all devices, becouse we are poissoning the general android developing forum, and there's a lot of threads related on it.
Also there's some Huawei devices with similar specs that works with another ROMS, so thinks the best way to get organizated is to launch a new generic Huawei forums.
Thanks in advance

^+1 I know this is my first post, but I'd also like to see this forum come about. There is alot of interest in this phone as well as the other LG Android that MetroPCS has put out. Id like to see some Devson these.....wish I knew how, but I dont....lol
this thread is sort of a duplicate, there already are dozens (maybe one hundred) of request for a Huwaei U8150 forum
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=860189&page=18
are all these requests still not enough to open a dedicated forum?
I'm wondering why this hasn't happened yet either. I'm also using a U8150, and I love the thing. I'd rather have an Evo, but if you're buying a GSM phone, and you want it off contract, there's just no better option out there!
need forum for ideos

Hello guys , should i buy this tablet ? is it getting upgraded to android 6? thoughts

Hello guys,
I am looking for a 300-500$ tablet with good specs and a note-taking pen.
I was considering this tablet,
do you guys recommend it ?
Any other better alternatives out now or coming soon?
Please share your thoughts, thanks

I wouldn't buy it again. Hardware is quite okay but the SW is very buggy. Next thing is that the tablet is not attractive for developers. So you basically have to stay with the standard stock rom.

I would say it always depends on what he's looking for. I'm pretty much happy with it as - just my 2 cent - I really like EMUI. Further more the premium version - in connection with the lecture notes app - is really great for handwritten notes and a lot of digital notebooks.
Writing my blog articles I love the multi window mode of it pretty much as well.
No need for custom ROMs at my end, as I'm petty happy with the basics I need it for.

Great tablet, it will be shame for Huawei not to publish the Android 6 ROM. Its my first tablet and i like it.
The only thing is, i don't know why, its not supported by developers. I don't like the EMUI Launcher, so the next day I've opened it for the first time, i have replaced it with Google Launcher accessible from Google Play.
I am not playing games on the tablet, bought it for maps, books and surfing. Extra feature is the stylus, which is actually more practical as i thought.
So at the end - if Huawei will offer 6.0, it was a good buy.
I have the mania: do not upgrade, developers spend it. I bought it because the computer magazine today he was given a third quality disappointment. Aluminum design, but the inside EMUI, awful. I want rotearla or throw it away.
It's a very good tablet, but till now without android 6 and I think we can forget to receive nougat.... (it's a shame for a suche good tablet)
LET US HOPE
My two cents. The hardware is pretty good but I'm not a fan of EMUI. And I'm very disapointed that it is still running Lollipop. Rumour is that we will get Marshmallow but there is no hard evidence of this as yet. And as Huawei has only just released kernel source code, there have been no custom ROMs so far. Hopefully we will get one soon.

Don't. At least until there is no update to Android6 ... which there probably won't ever be.
[edit] Didn't look at note taking pen, disregard recomendation below.
I'd look at Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016. It seems to be in the same HW bracket, comes with Android6.

We simple don't know it...
Few weeks ago it was visible Development for SM-R500 and Galaxy Watch brothers...
IMHO Tizen 5.5...
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/XAR/SM-R500/version.test.xml
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/XAR/SM-R800/version.test.xml
Code:
R800XXU1FTK4/R800OXA1FTK4
As example... I am toooooo lazy to search for LTE...
Now Samsu.g kastriert these Test Server Links... so you need Alphabet knowledge to see latest Development...
They started weeks monthS ago with higher Tizen firmware...
But this NOT means they will release it public...
Something like this is not first time...
Maybe they need more money with GW3...
Best Regards
Cool.
New Version of this nice Android App fix the tiny problem:
CheckFirm - Apps on Google Play
Search Galaxy device firmware easily.
play.google.com
It can detect the latest Test Firmware under Development/QA... by magic Alphabet Power.
Best Regards

Huawei mate 20 x Speaker issue

Since updating to 10.1.0.258 I have a speaker issue. It's the bottom speaker and it sounds distorted. Top speaker is loud and clear. I thought it was blown so I replaced the speaker only to have the same problem. So I believe it is a software issue.
Anyone else have this problem or heard of a fix?
Thanks in advance.

personally, i think emui 11 is better than 10.1. overall system feels smoother and battery life seems improved. also some additional functions and more stylish looks, albeit subtle changes

So next month we can expect a stable version. A month flies quickly. It will be here soon
I have an issue with the speakers since Emui 11. Everytime when I hear music through the speakers (no matter how loud) and the phone produce different sound than music (for example keyboards tones or the sound of some notification or even the klick sound when the phone turn off or turn on), then the music switch to this no bass speakers protection mode automatically. It get back to normal when i press the volume button up or down, but it's definitely a bug and it bothers me.
Small fix: If one of the Sound Effects are on, then this problem don't occurs.

Huawei Watch 3 (GLL-AL04) - How to get Google Pay in Romania

Hello guys!
I have a Huawei Watch 3, and it's almost 3 years since I have it, but Huawei simply doesn't want to update/activate de Google Pay services here in Romania (South/Central Europe).
Is there any mod or app that I can install to make payments possible with the Google Pay app in my region? When I open Huawei Health I can see the cards section but only "loyalty cards", and that's not what I need.
Before opening this thread I've searched the YouTube for something useful, but nothing that would help me... I'm sick of waiting for Huawei to update/active the payments for Romania.
Thanks in advance, and hope someone could help me please.
Have a good day!
Anyone, any ideea?
So, nobody has an ideea about this?
