Since updating to 10.1.0.258 I have a speaker issue. It's the bottom speaker and it sounds distorted. Top speaker is loud and clear. I thought it was blown so I replaced the speaker only to have the same problem. So I believe it is a software issue.
Anyone else have this problem or heard of a fix?
Thanks in advance.

personally, i think emui 11 is better than 10.1. overall system feels smoother and battery life seems improved. also some additional functions and more stylish looks, albeit subtle changes

So next month we can expect a stable version. A month flies quickly. It will be here soon
I have an issue with the speakers since Emui 11. Everytime when I hear music through the speakers (no matter how loud) and the phone produce different sound than music (for example keyboards tones or the sound of some notification or even the klick sound when the phone turn off or turn on), then the music switch to this no bass speakers protection mode automatically. It get back to normal when i press the volume button up or down, but it's definitely a bug and it bothers me.
Small fix: If one of the Sound Effects are on, then this problem don't occurs.

Hi,
My only query for now is which all devices for now fall under preview of development with Lineage OS team?
I guess loads of queries and rumors are around this topic only considering CM shutdown.
Your response here shall serve as a guide and insight to many XDA users. Chers

I am assuming you are speaking about devices that will support official nightlies? As of right now the rumors are all devices that supported cm13/14...but that is rumors...I am personally waiting to find out what LinOS got to say.

Just saw the announcement thread on HUAWEI Chinese forum, they are recruiting alpha testers for EMUI 5.0.
Following model users can participate in the alpha test:
BLN-AL10
BLN-TL10

Maybe users from overseas can enjoy EMUI 5.0 in very near future.

Should be issues with network, I'm accessing it fine at this time.
group seems to be closed as they might have got overwhelmed response within China users. I tried couple of days back but couldn't go through as site is closed
if anyone captures the OTA, please share as official Emui 5 will come in Q2 only..

I doubt that there would be any early release or a leaked EMUI 5. Some users in China flashed a so called "Russian" version leaked EMUI 5 image and face some serious issues, like cannot turn on/off, app cannot start. Currently the only solution is to bring your phone to customer services...
So I suggest anyone out there not flash any ROM not from an authorized HUAWEI source.

Thanks for the valuable info.
I made a conversation with "UK" Xiaomi support, and they said "We also don't know the release date either but we hope it will come around early/before 2020"
And I know that someone published android 10 update will come this week/month etc, but it won't. This release date could be true for Mi A3(even they said it will come like in October).
Please and please do not ask questions about this, other news are completely wrong, please believe me. If you are a member of Telegram, you can see my screenshot also.

well, its aaallll just rabble anyway. nobody knows yet.
i contacted uk xiaomi helpdesk, person there swore its due in 2 weeks max, that was 3 weeks ago
it comes when it comes. there are good a10 roms here that works good after some tweaking. i use gsi version as a daily driver for weeks now.
Well so far I'm the only one who's been right ? so believe me fellow anonymous strangers
Miui 11 update came last week on my other device and it has almost every Android 10 features...
Come on it shouldnt be hard. Even their heavy bloated miui phones took Android 10 update. Our phone is pure Android. It shouldnt take much time.

Yeah but they don't really like maintaining their AndroidOne devices I suppose.
Hi, I don't know if anyone can help me here. But I still ask. I have a Nokia 8.1 with build nr 00WW_2_59J_SP03 and I live in the Netherlands. My Nokia 8.1 still has Android 9 with the SP of October. This while many Nokia 8.1 devices have already been updated to Android 10 with the SP of January. If I am the only one then I understand. But here in the Netherlands there are many with this problem, there will be no update. It is frustrating that NOKIA is deaf to our questions, the only thing they say is keep an eye on it, he will come. But we have been waiting for months now. Does anyone here know about xda what's going on? And sorry for my poor English, I hope you understand me
I'm facing the same issue as you! Unfortunately I haven't had a satisfying answer from Nokia about this.
Well I received 10 a long time ago (oct.16). Also in NL. Did you contact your reseller ? They sold the product including the promise of updates. Indecent products is their problem (wanprestatie). The product is still under warrenty. Switch the phone. If they are stubborn, there is a lot of information about consumer rights. That's how we roll in the lowlands.

Yesterday's january update for my Nokia8.1 android10.
Your android9 has octobre patch. Received early novembre. It's deadquiet now. You are entitled to expect more.
Again, I advise you to call your shop (belsimpel, coolblue, bol, where ever you bought it).
Maybe there is a jumpstart to trigger an upgrade.
I don't know if a factory reset would help.
Before you try... Backup all data.

Forum rules says to speak english so that others can understand.
Whether you have android 9 or 10, you should receive monthly updates.
The biggest change in 10 is dark theme. And some battery drain. Therefore I use Lawnchair launcher. I don't notice others bugs.

Yes sir
According to Xiomi, Mi A2 lite won't get Android 10
Is it true ?
Please at least make an effort and look at other Android 10 threads on the forum before making the exact same posts as said threads.
Here's the full lowdown:
- Xiaomi have to provide Android 10 to our phone as part of the Android One program.
- We don't know when we'll get it.
- The Xiaomi support agents definitely don't either.
- It has been shown many times that the support agents either don't know about the Android One program, the concept of Xiaomi doing ROMs that aren't MIUI or even the existence of the Mi A2 Lite Vs the Mi A2 (which are separate things).
- Please for the love of any and every God, either stop asking here and the Xiaomi support about it and use a custom ROM or just sit and wait and be patient like the rest of us. Thank you.
Stop worry or ask about Android 10 guys.
I agree with the first comment.

I also think that having a customer support that has little knowledge about its product is leaving a bad impression to us, at least they should foward our question to someone who can help more...
Altough i am thankfull for security updates, my phone is still working great, and android 10 will come, but when, no one knows yet...
It's because the job of the customer support is to help out with base level questions about a device, and Xiaomi's support will mainly be focused on and assuming the question is about MIUI rather than anything else since that's their primary version of Android that 90% of their phones run. This level of customer support wouldn't know a single thing about unannounced device updates, primarily because this kind of information is just never divulged to them in the first place. I wouldn't be surprised if most of what they come out with is just pure guesswork because they don't actually know.

After the confirmation from Xiaomi and seeing screenshots from Geekbench, we can say that Mi A2 lite update is in beta state and would probably be releasing update in the end of Q2 2020 (April).

What confirmation from Xiaomi? Again, the customer support don't actually know when it'll come out. Those Geekbench screenshots were for custom ROMs, not the official update.
This said, I agree that it's probably in beta and will be out in Q1.

Why not Q4 2020
Which rule forces Xiaomi for Q1? I cant see any rule for Q1.
I think Xiaomi forgot us and for the Android 10 update thing they still didnt even started to work on it.
But i have big hope for 2020 Q4. We will get Android 10 update with Mi A4’s Android 11 update.

Why would they be custom ROMs? Custom Android 10 ROMs were available since long ago for our device, why would've notebookcheck wrote an article about it just now?
We might get just a sec. patch now, but it'll be out soon, I agree on that.
