I use CyanDelta, so since fresh installing CM and Gapps I have flashed over them many times. Yet I still have the stock camera. I am wondering how do I get access to the CyanogenMod camera? I don't have any root explorers other than the included File Manager (if that is one). What about if I uninstall gallery.apk with Titanium Backup and install a nightly?

I've got a Honami ROM installed
it had the stock camera of JB 4.1.2 but i got sick of it and looked for the 4.3 camera
flashed it, was working fine
until i decided to go back to stock camera because the 4.3 was too slow and buggy
so after flashing the stock camera, it won't work
i've tried wiping cache and dalvik
clearing every app data related to the camera nut it still won't work
any help please

Delete all camera related apps from /system/app . Then flash the stock camera again to make it work. Do take a backup of Your current ROM though if anything goes bad.

I am currently using cm-11 on my Xperia M. Few days ago I uninstalled the stock gallery app and installed the sony album app instead. But I recently found that without the stock gallery app, I am unable to set the wallpapers, edit images etc. I tried to install the stock gallery app from the .apk file but it didn't install. Is there anyway to install it back and fix the issue? Or is flashing the rom again, the only option? Also, if I flash it again(install .zip from cwm recovery), will I lose all my data or will it just upgrade the apps without deleting all my data?
i think you could just flash again and it will upgrade and give you the app back
Any AOSP based rom for G2 with camera as good as stock? All those I tried were a deal breaker only because of the camera quality.
Also can anybody tell me a step by step procedure on how to restore stock nandroid backup after flashing an AOSP rom? Last time I had to tot back to zve then upgrade to zvg > root > autorec > then restore the backup. So its hard to try many aosp roms if I cant return to a backup on the fly.
Ok so, comparisons and saying a rom is better than the other is against XDA's rules, so maybe just help me with restoring stock nandroid so I can play around with different roms maybe?

I'm afraid that's the best way to restore your nandroid backup because it'll put the foundation back in order for your backup to load up properly, such as kernel, baseband, etc; otherwise you'll most likely run into terrible issues. I'm personally using CM12 nightly, and it runs great. I don't miss stock one bit.
That's sad. I would love to try more roms. Yeah I tried some aosp roms But the camera was not as good as stock. How is cm12 camera?

Camera works great, I am using cm12 preferred stock camera app version 2.0.002. Focus, flash, and video all work. Front facing camera works too. You have basic settings you can change. On CM12 it just works so smooth since it's not bloated. Of course you can always find other apps out there that you might prefer.
I try remove encryption of the MM stock 1628 without sucess. Anyone can help me make it?
Thats was fixed flashing stock recovery before clean settings
