Has your battery life been fixed after factory reset?
Are all apps closed in the background when you took that screen shot?

Yeap
I was able to get that result after open 32 APPS in the background lol. Somethings not right, I think you have an app that is consuming a lot of your ram and battery, check your battery graph and see what is the cause of your battery drain and high ram usage.
Check here what is consuming highest ram

You should buy an app called Better Battery Stats from Play Store. It will monitor your battery life so that if you do encounter problems with drain, you can identify which app or process causes it.
I say just use your phone normally at first. I haven't had any lagging with this phone. Then if you do have problems, post on XDA about it. Of course minimizing sync settings is always a good idea. Apps that constantly monitor for updates do cause battery drain and use the cpu. I mean things like facebook, google+ and so on. If you have those set to push updates and alerts to your phone live as they happen, you might experience battery drain and maybe lagging too.

I've just purchased this phone and overall I like it. One thing I think is holding this beast back is the resolution. The GPU seems to seriously struggle - it's even noticeable when switching apps, navigating the settings, etc. It just seems like it doesn't have quite enough grunt.
Is anyone else experiencing a similar thing?
I was using an Xperia Z2 earlier today and everything seemed far more fluid and smooth. I'm honestly considering selling my 2 day old G3 and switching to a Z2.

Mine is very fluid with zero lag. Then again I'm rooted, and I debloated the phone. It's very fast, If you know a away to record your screen I'll upload a video.

What did you do to debloat - which apps etc removed?
I'm rooted, but no idea which apps are safe to remove.

Well I froze all of them via titanium, some apps in there are just ones I'm not using currently. I would freeze then instead if uninstalling them personally. See screenshots below.

I recorded a video of my screen via some app. In running nova with animations at the fastest for the launcher because I don't care about transitions. Is still very fast to open spots as you can see below. I'm sure you can see that it's fluid for the most part besides my jerk's between menus scrolling like I have ADHD

Every app on that list is frozen so yes.
Edit
Also don't freeze anything you're using because I've accidentally don't that before and I had to figure put what I did.

I agree, and never freeze anything that you don't know the function of. It can happen accidentally, but I've learned from my mistakes.
Hey guys what u think ??
i think its superfast but ugly.
What are your quadrant scores? I seem to remember getting better scores on kit kit. I am only getting 5387 which sucks. Frame rate is low also.

How do you get the score so high? mine seems to only get up to 28000.
Not sure what you exactly mean by debloated but I've froze all the useless applications plus some other services.
What happened to all the new things I was supposed to see with this new update? Like multiple users, quick settings, etc. Sprint disabled all the good stuff as always? This update sucks
Is the mute option still available in the notification menu or using the volume rocker? Or is it stick with only vibrate?
Theree an zip in the forums to remove all the junk apps removes about 50 apps n frees 600 gb ram

I just ran ANTUTU and got 52408, stock L rom with stock kernel, no debloat. Just disabled some internal apps..
This score was actually better than KK for me on a custom ROM (think I was slightly over 50K
I initially upgraded without a factory reset, but noticed some issues so I ODIN back to NK2, reset, OTA to L, reset again, then set up phone and restored apps via titanium. All bugs dispersed after doing it that way. Took extra time, but seems to be well worth it now.
Guys I'm gonna replace my nexus 5 with m9 because of android 5.1 bug , memory leak . after 4 or 5 day system ram take all free ram . just wanna know how much ram

From my understanding , they patched that leak in 5.1... I used xposed to install a fix memory leak for 5.0.2 which is what the m9 uses
This is mine after 6 hours, let me know if you wanna see it after a few days with out a restart.

Do you have the xposed fix memory leak apk installed? That last screen shot was before I went to bed when my phone was idle for 20+ mins
Also it may depend on what ROM you are using.
I am badboyz v1.1 with leedroid kernel (for kcal control) on sprint

Yeah could be that the venom one with it's tweaks and themes takes up way more.
Anyway, on topic as to the leak, I've not yet experienced anything below that free ram, no matter how long my phone was on before rebooting.

Nah it's all good, even 1.5 free is more than enough
Too big of a hassle to do that just for testing sake haha, and no doubt my many tweaks and xposed modules don't actually help reducing ram usage

Thanks man enough for me seems like your m9 work like charm under 600 mg system ram is normal
A quick tip for you.
If your phones rooted, then use a file explorer with root permissions and go into /system/app & delete system apps that are pre-installed that you dont need... Only delete whats safe, for example Google Search, Zoe, etc
Is this normal ? After update to 5.1 system ram usage around 1 gig !!!!!! on 5.0.2 was 500 m

Hello!
My current problems after updating to 6.0 are:
-Battery (!) one of the serious problems, the battery just drains like crazy, Chrome take 1-3% every few minutes, i cant use the phone more then 1.5-32hours in average. even less, use.
-The phone became much slower since the update. It is no as smooth as it used to be
My phone is currently at stock rom, I udpated via OTA update and now the phone is barely usable.

Make sure you have the latest version of Chrome installed.
Use Greenify or Kin or both to help shut down apps in the background when not needed.

Using lggup.
Update to MM and do a factory reset right after and restart your phone, should be smooth sailing after a couple of charges.. No lag or batt drain here
