It's been a month or so since my phone started to have problems with mobile data connection. It's most of the time offline, even if i set mobile data on; when i try to connecto to mobile data, it takes some tries to resume connection. I've also noticed that mobile data connection goes off when making or receiving calls. I've tried several different combinations of roms and radios with no success, and now i really don't know what to do. Any suggestions?
My mobile data doesn't always turn off when wifi is on. Any ideas?

this is an issue with WP not just the omnia as a developer i have gotten many reports about this and have also experenced it myself so you are not alone...
Using data over wifi means mobile data instead of wifi data. Its not always. Its random.
My phone is not switching to wifi sometimes even when connected. I was connected to wifi. And disabled my data and it was still using cell data. I had to disable both and then reenable wifi to use it.
Anyone else having this issue?
I am on clean rom 4.0. I think it happened yesterday on blackout rc3 aswell.
I used a gig of data for no reason.
Sent from GN2 using XDA app
So today I flashed this update for 4.1.2:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2387423
And I noticed the 4G LTE icon is always there when I am sitting at my home wifi. Is this normal or what could it be?
Edit: Under Settings > About device > Status > Mobile Network state is always "Connected".
IP Address is always the mobile IP and not the WiFi IP...
Edit 2: If data is turned on and wifi is connected, phone cannot access online services at all unless in airplane mode with wifi on...
Anyone???

It means that the phone is using your providers network, if you were on wireless for example as you know how it normally looks, the network data icon goes away, If you were to send a text or use a program that does not use wifi, it will then use cell data. Maybe you have a rogue app or service running. Have you tried to wipe your cache and dalvik? You could also be connected with wifi but not have internet access through it, thus enabling the network again while wifi is on.

I've checked the network connection over and over again, but from what I see, the icon never goes away and its been more than a day, so I'm gonna try wipe cache and dalvik and if not, I might have to do an Odin stock (hopefully not).
I also noticed that from jst downloading an app through the Play Store, I get a system notification (the ones that appear in a gray box at the bottom of the screen) that I have XXX.X MB left of memory...
