in my Moto g6 play I have a recurring problems with wifi, I can not use the twitter and pinterest application in my wifi network, being that the problem is not in my wifi network because in other handsets everything works normally, my moto g6 play only of the error in some wifi networks like mine, in others or even in 4g everything connects normally ... anyone have any idea of what it might be or even how to solve it?

Not sure if anyone encountered this before, that android apps work perfectly fine while on wifi, but when switched over to 3G or LTE, the app will not be able to connect using the 3G/ LTE signal. When starting them, they give a message that no connection was found.
The few apps tested were:
Whatsapp
Chrome
Play Store (able to browse for apps using 3G, but fail to be able to downloaded)
If anyone has encountered this before and solved it, please advice! I'm severely handicapped without 3G while on the road.
I have got this weird problem on my Z1 compact that sometime you cannot open playstore, cannot surf on web on chrome and certain app never work and give message of no date connection while at the same time whatsapp, line and certain voice calling app over the internet work fine and also when i tether mobile data with pc ..everything work and internet is absolutely fine.. I have tried many stock 4.4.2 and 4.4.4 ROMS but still same problem...I have tried to change internet setting from lte/4g to 3g but still having have same issue.
When i use simcard in moto G everything run great and fast with no data issue..can anyone tell me how to fix it or i should try aosp ROMs?

I just got an internet packet through rogers canada. The wifi is on hitron router. After connecting i whenever i make internet calls with fb messenger, whatsapp, skype, and i lock the phone it is disconnecting from the wifi. Then I unlock and it connects again. There is no problem wheb I am connected to other APs, it is just this one. I tried withth both 2.4 and 5 ghz it is the same. Reset network settings, reset the whole phone it is again the same. I tried with changing channels on the router it doesnt work as well. Excluding wifi from the battery optimizations hasnlnt helped to. As mentioned in the title i have the canadian g4 h812 running 6.0 on fido. Any others facing the same issue? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance
I have the E6883 model dual SIM phone. I've had it about a year now and it's updated to 7.1.1 all stock.
What's strange is that a sudden problem has come up in that the wi-fi will connect to a network but has a little "x" mark on the signal icon.
It will say "connected, no internet".
Which is odd cause it worked before and everything else works in the network. I didn't change anything about the wi-fi network. Also,
it does seem like I can use the internet if I use the browser and things like WeChat and Instagram work. But some programs like Whatsapp
or Final Fantasy BE say that no internet connection is found. It's very odd.
*Update
So, it seems every single Wi-Fi network now reacts that way. It's very odd and a bit annoying. I travelled recently to USA from China (to visit family) and in USA it was fine, but on
the return trip I couldn't connect to any wi-fi at airports and now nothing anywhere.
Anyone else encounter this before ?

I got the 8GB/256GB AL00 model and all is well except one annoying thing!
When I'm on Mobile Data connection (3G. 4G) everything works fine but when I'm on WiFi some programs do not refresh and saying there are connection issues...
For instance Google Maps will not load the map on WiFi but will on 4G without any issues. some apps will not load lists of people (dating apps for instance) while some other Apps and games work without any issues. My other phone (Xiaomi Mi Mix2) has no such problems with the WiFi and same apps on the same WiFi networks/
I've tested that on different WiFi Routers over different networks in different countries even. Same thing...
Ideas?
After some reading I finally decided to factory reset the phone.
After setting it up, everything seems to be OK now. I guess when the seller installed Google Play store initially, something went wrong...
