I have got this weird problem on my Z1 compact that sometime you cannot open playstore, cannot surf on web on chrome and certain app never work and give message of no date connection while at the same time whatsapp, line and certain voice calling app over the internet work fine and also when i tether mobile data with pc ..everything work and internet is absolutely fine.. I have tried many stock 4.4.2 and 4.4.4 ROMS but still same problem...I have tried to change internet setting from lte/4g to 3g but still having have same issue.
When i use simcard in moto G everything run great and fast with no data issue..can anyone tell me how to fix it or i should try aosp ROMs?

I rooted my phone to CyanogenMod-7.0.0-RC2-Slide on March 26. I am unable to log into any SSL secured apps or web pages when on WiFi. It works fine on the G3 Network, so I am pretty sure this is strictly a WiFi issue not related to browser settings, etc. I have searched the xda forum and Google and haven't found anything similar reported for CM7. Any suggestions? I have reinstalled the radio updates and CM 7 several times to no avail.
I honestly think it's the wifi network your connecting to and not the rom. I could be wrong though. Try connecting to a different network and see the results.

Unfortunately this occurs regardless of the WiFi access point I am in (home, work, friends, hotspots). I am able to browse the internet fine on WiFi until I come to an SSL page. Or if I try to log in to an SSL secured app. Essentially it times out on me every time. Again, this is not a problem on the 3G network. I can switch over to 3G and view or log in just fine.
Tons of people have had WiFi issues with CM7, myself included. Something with the hardware source code not being released by HTC. I myself do not use CM7 strictly because I'm so dependent on WiFi. You can try this though, have bluetooth and WiFi enabled at the same time and see if it helps with your WiFi issues.

I have flashed several ROMs already and my unit works perfectly. I did notice when i left the house (wifi), i was no data connection on my phone when using 3G connection only.. all the settings are correct like the APN, i tried several browser too. However when i enable the tethering, my tablet works perfectly
My phone can tethering to my tablet (works)
I use WIFI at home, i can surf the internet (so browser works)
when using the phone for browsing using 3G, no data is coming thru.
I hope someone knows the solution for this. I tried searching but found nothing.
I got my ZL yesterday applied the international firmware with flashtool everything was working fine, but then i noticed that wifi disconnects randomly all the time. Today when I went to work I tried to test the Mobile connection but it also just shows the "E" "3G" "H,H+" sign like 6 seconds then goes blank and i have no mobile data, could this be a firmware related issue or a hardware one?

For the mobile data, i think it is how the mobile data work, when there is no use of data (downloading, syncing) the sign will disappear to save power consumption. When u need the data it will show the sign back.
For the wifi, sony OS for ZL sometime suffer this low connectivity range. You can try to repair using PC Companion if you want. Before this i'm using Incredible S and suffer wifi connectivity loss frequently, i can't finish any download but when connected to other wifi it has no problem, the solution is to change ur wifi modem channel, then the problem solved.
For sony there is solution by altering your build.prop (in Z forum, i forgot the thread) but some user said that it will drain ur battery quickly. I never test it.
On my home Wi-Fi network I have a strange problem that only seems to affect Google apps. Basically they have no connectivity. Hangouts can't send or receive, YouTube can't load videos, Google+ cannot load data. I can send texts, browse the web fine though. Sometimes but not always the play store will not work either. Other app that connect to the internet work fine such as chrome. If I turn off Wi-Fi and use 3G, it works. The only way I can get it working is to reboot the phone. I had switched to cyanogen mod 10.1 and never encountered this problem on my S3 so it's not some kind of hardware problem. At first i thought it was a problem with the Wi-Fi but i don't have any problems with my nexus 7 or iPad on the same network or even at the same time my S3 doesn't work.
Has anyone else seen this before or have any ideas?
I have Yureka. After Update Android 5.0 Lollipop facing internet problem. After Use of internet when I switched off (data Connection) internet option. After some time again when I open the internet on the internet option. Internet not working. Internet working after restart or rebooting and internet speed is also very slow. I have 3G recharge in my phone. I have done even factory reset data option. But problem is still pending. Please solve my problem.
