As the title says, I am using my note 2 currently with Aliance 28 Rom. Curious from others in the same situation that upgraded if it was worth it. I have a spare 4s that I can trade in at bb and I think I can walk out for like $130. Opinions???
Thanks,
Glenn
I'm liking the n4 a lot, and I came from the exact same thing.
No root is tough to get used to. But I guess we all have to live like the masses once in a while, eh?
It's a good upgrade from note 2. I had a note 2 for 2 years and loved it had aliance room installed and I just sold on craiglist for 200 ? and traded a prepaid smartphone to bestbuy to get 200 dollars gift card. The screen is best feature and battery its maybe better than note 2
So when I pre-ordered my Pixel 2 XL, the site told me my Nexus 6 was worth $0 as a trade-in. Anyone else have this happen to them? Is there any way to negotiate this?
Maybe they got flooded with them and cut trade ins of them off?
I have 6p and they're giving me 150 bucks for it.

if its through VZW, they are of no real value to them.
Even through the google store itself, max is $80 for the 64GB version $70 for 32GB.
They are going for twice that price on swappa, much better off selling it yourself.
Excellent, thanks for the info!

Fantastic. The OP however has a Nexus 6, not a 6P.
I got one even better. 2 months ago I got the ASUS ZenFone AR... Still in new condition... Verizon will only give $50 for trade in LOL... Verizon is a joke...
I'd say 90% of the time you are better off on swappa then trading it into VZW. Although, I got $280 for my Note 4 a few weeks ago.

I am curious what experiences other Pixel XL owners have had with regard to device replacement from Google. Are they still replacing insurance claims with a new (refurbished) Pixel XL, or have they started replacing it with a newer model device?
I came into possession of my current Pixel XL because I broke my three year old Nexus 6P and got the Pixel as the replacement.
Thanks for any insights!
Just bought a Pixel 4a 5g from Google and traded in my Pixel 3Xl (battery was starting to go). I got $320 for the trade in. Not bad. $180 plus tax.
Same here now how do we root this thing

I did the same but mine had a cracked screen so I only got $272.50 credit. Still damn good so that's why I upgraded otherwise I'd have kept my 3XL.

Ditto just traded in the Misses pixel 2 and got like 275 for it so not a bad deal at all.
If both devices can be bought for the same price which would you get? Share your thoughts
Just the extra flexibility of the 6 pro camera set up makes this a no brainer surely?
The 6 pro and 7 pro *are* the same price.
Yes, the 6 Pro and 7 Pro are the same price, but the OP is asking "if" the 6 Pro and 7 (non-Pro) could be bought for the same price...
This assumes that the 6 Pro has a price $300 (or whatever currency equivalent you want to use) lower to make it equivalent to the 7 (assuming 7 at full value of $599 or reductions in both that would make them equivalent).
I need 512 GB of storage, which isn't available in any non-Pro Pixel, so that's my reasoning.
The question stems from the idea of imported phones, pixel 6 pro can be bought locally at a cheaper price than US retail price while pixel 7 has to be imported, which would make the price of both pixel 7 and pixel 6 pro to be almost the same
