Im using a charger suport quick charge 3.0.
But nokia x7 only fast charging when turn off screen.
Anyone like me???
hi. I am using Belkin 3.0 and it doesn't say fast charging. It says 1.5 hour is needed until full from 50 - 100%.
is it really working with the fast chargers? I am now contacting nokia about this.

Here's what they said:
The technology of Fast charging is such that it doesn't fast charge all the time, but does it in waves, so to say
Yes, your device does support fast charging indeed

do you think it is really fast charging? this will be a problem. I can't wait 8 hours just to charge everyday
---------- Post added at 09:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:12 AM ----------
now I am charging. when I press power button, it says rapidly and when the screen on, it goes to normal. So I guess rapid charging is only working when you are not using your device.
Also, I read that you need to turn off the Ambient display in settings for the rapid charging to work. thanks

Define "slow" I'm having a Note7100 and a full charge takes a bout 2-3 hours, It's a huge battery to charge.

how much time does it take to full charge and the alternative is to try other wires dont mess with phn as it has no prob is the issue with the wire
Stock sammy charger custom rom 4.1.2 XXDME6 with saber kernel v25 charging time almost 4 hours
There's a huge thread somewhere here about slow charging, do a search there's some good info.
Use the original samsung charger, with a stouter and shorter cable if possibe. Check the charging current using the app 'Galaxy charging current' on play store. If the current is below 1600 when charger connected to ac current... Then it means a faulty charger or faulty cable..and u need to replace it. Check this preliminary stuff.... And then you can try other faster charging kernel tweaks Hope it helps!
Happy faster charging!!

Hello ppl
My galaxy note battery needs battery calibration so i discharged the battery and while charging it (turned off device) I noticed that battery state give full green battery 100% for seconds then drop back to the low level it is charging on (that keep happening every about 2 minutes!!) .. that's while the charger "AC" is plugged and I didn't unplug it ... anybody noticed such behavior or has explanation? ... thx
Sounds weird situation
Try charging with different cable

Thx 4 the advice .. but I don't think so!
Are you talking about the charging screen with the phone off?
Isn't that what it does - just shows an animation of a charging battery where the lowest level is the current charge?

seems like I do have a real odd situation .. the animating green charging battery from a time to another "about 2 minutes inbetween" jumps from the charging level "supposed to be actual level" to 100% then drop in seconds to the forementioned actual level repetitively ... weird!!

I'm a bit worried about my battery drains and wanted to compare with others. With max brightness and power saving off my battery drains about 1 percent every 2-3 minutes with basic web browsing (no videos)
Is this fairly typical or is there something I should do to find out if an app is draining resources more than usual
Advance thanks
Sounds normal. And what kind of test is that? Lol
Screen as dim as you can handle is how to run for good battery.
Sorry, but I don't see the point of this test? There's far more to battery life than the screen brightness. ?

Also... No one can give you anything but guesses without useful screenshot. From gsam or something similar. ?
Ok thanks for advice, I heard Skype doesn't play well with 4.4.3 update at the moment and can cause battery drain so I have uninstalled it to see if that will make a difference...
Battery life comparisons with others are not going to yield a heck of a lot of useful info. Aside from screen on time, network reception in your specific location has a big impact on battery life.
I wonder if there is a list of apps that are known to drain the phone...when I factory feet the phone with all my apps my phone was working really great with long battery life...and then I started putting some apps back on and it started draining crazily again
Gsam will tell you what's draining you. Or what wakelocks you have. No need for a list. ?

And as I've said... Without screenshots... Useful ones, like post 4 in the battery thread in my signature... No one here can really help.
My previous devices were LG G2 and htc m8. I am used to charge my phone with my iPad charge (5V, 2.4A), which is faster than the orignal 1A charger.
However, my Desire 820 charges very slow no matter which chargers I use.
I am just wondering whether Quick Charge 2.0 function is available on Desire 820, since Desire 820 is equipped with latest processor S615.
And would it be unlocked the function when it updates to 5.0?
Please share your experience with me.

i bought htc desire 820 dual sim recently. the stock charger does it in 3 hours (from 8% to 100%). is that too long? or, are you getting longer times? how long have you been using your device?

My G2 and M8 used up just about one hour and more to charge from roughly 20% to 100%, but now my 820 takes much longer time, at least 2-3 hours.

I think M8 and G2 are better in terms of charging time and screen quality.

I just bought it a couple of days ago.
Took me 3 hours as well yesterday from 0% to 100% (while turned off).
Charging via PC while having WiFi or Mobile Data ON is just a joke, almost not charging.
I'm not sure if this is the normal, but I'm trying to get used to it

when u dont use it much u can put it on charge in EPS mode or when u really want to go outside and u have very less battery EPS mode is very useful even i have noticed that when u have to do basic tasks keep the normal power saver mode the battery drains slowly.
hit thanks if it was helpful
2 Amp charger also took 3+ hours to charge it from 0-100%. Charging is very very slow in HTC Desire 820

Dude do you want to make your phone a mini bomb ..
Playing while charging is not good for battery and phone..might get explode due to pubgs high temp + battery charging temp ...
If you are concern about yourself and your family then don't play games while charging
For now i am on msm xtended it is good for pubg for now occassionally lag. I play on smooth and high frame rate and for touch problem use power bank changing with charger cause touch problem it is normal for the device

Dude you are right but our mobile does not last for more than 3-4 matches on battery so charging while playing is only option. device heat little bit but it is the sacrifice we have do give for playing pubg for longer period
---------- Post added at 02:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:08 PM ----------
Use ubercool for lowering the temp further and battery does not charge during playing but reamain at the same percentage
