Service Center is Best for Buy Original Battery
any news here?
You can buy battery and other original xiaomi parts at dragon-tt
http://www.dragon-tt.com/xx.aspx?id=943
Well visiting service center will be best and appropriate option for you.
There is no chance of getting duplicate battery there and also you may( get 6 months warranty).
Thanks dudes.service center says my battery is ok.but i see more discharge when battery is 25% and bellow.is weird.also most aftermarket batteries doesnt include inbuild temp sensor..and that is an issue for me..

are u sure about that cause if i brought that battery then there is no going back
so could give a me ny proof of this
if u wanna using another rom / kernel
i dont recommend using bm44 aka redmi 2 battery
because im using this battery and many latest rom based cm 11/12.1/13 not support this battery
ps: for best performance im using redmi 1s + bm 44 with miui 7 developer with kernel xcelerate build 8
I wanna buy a BM-44 battery, I hope can change it!
can we use BM32 for redmi 1s as extended battery?
redmi 1s is such a nice phone yet battery drain is awfully weak link
found mi4 battery has the same dimension, is it possible to replace?
will it be charging?
unlike BM44 battery comes in redmi 2 is not charging in redmi1s
since am a new user cannot post the link, fasttech website gives the exact dimension of batteries, seems BM31,BM44.BM32 has similar dimension
Good day. The reason for this post is that i considered to buy the Mi Max after 4 years using my Z Ultra. And needed some opinion on how the experience of using one....comparable to Z Ultra, i think this is a nice upgrade to my old phone considered the screen size and camera.
I also like to know hows the support from dev for Mi Max....

Being someone who had a Z Ultra as well (only for a few weeks though) I can say that any of these phones are better than the Z. The camera had no flash so in low or no light the camera on the Z was useless. The speaker was very low and tinny on the Z. The Z had huge bezels and the battery life was not all that good. Once Xiaomi releases the kernel sources we should have more roms. The Redmi Note 3 had the sources released and seeing as the Mi Max is almost the same phone but larger I would assume we would get the kernel sources soon. I would definitely upgrade your Z Ultra to a Mi Max.
Max price and size as well as decent specs puts it in for a long life of dev
There's Miui.en, Miui.eu, and cyanogen mod already. It's a great buy for 6+ devices. The device has THE best battery life in the whole world.
One criticism is average camera, but that's really it.

I had lenovo K3 Note very good device lots of support paid twice as much for the miui max for nothing too bulky and 0 support so I wish I had not bought it now just buy the Redmi note 3 pro it s cheaper better support I think cm14 is out for that device already but do your search it s not a as great as you might hear and that is just my opinion
Oukitel K10000 with its 10k mah battery is biggest battery in the world, but you never worry about the Mi Max battery anymore, especially if you have a quick charger plug, it lasts for a long time.
Nexus is dead, Pixel is nothing (just a Nexus with iPhone price) and Samsung is dead (Exynos/Knox/kernel source), so what is the best phone for LineageOS? I really don't like OnePlus anymore, because for the same price I get a S7 Edge with VR, warrenty and local support (Samsung service point). Car charger for 30 bucks, dash charger, dash cable... f... that!
For now I got a Mi Max Prime (64GB version) and a Mi5s Plus which is just like a 100$ phone compare to firmware support for a highend device (buggy firmware, no real updates, no Xiaomi support (flop)). Don't get me wrong, the hardware is genius (dualsim, 128GB, 6GB RAM, Snapdragon 821, 3800 mAh, QC and for under 400€ with import and shipping) but it feels like the first CM alpha builds from a S3 with Exynos :/
So I need to switch... I looking for a new powerful device with great ROM support, like OnePlus. The battery (SOT) is on the first position, after LineageOS support.
What you think? Switch to the old Nexus 6p, buy a OnePlus 3T (it is the last option for me) or maybe a other phone? A brand new S7 Edge I can get for 400 bucks, a Mi Note 2 for 550 but I really don't care anymore... good battery and official LineageOS is what I need for the future.
I hope you guys can help me.
Regards

right now i'm enjoying my Nexus 6p, but if you want something newer the OP3T is your best shot
That is pretty much how i feel with my old LG g3.
Last I checked the Nexus 7 from 2013 had community support well into 2016. So maybe we should all stop placating Google/Oracle in their resource gluttony & update rampaging....
My 2 cents.
What about the Asus Zenfone 3? So far that's the best hardware I've seen for the lowest price. The software is the only thing I don't like about them so much but so far it beats all the other overpriced iPhone comletitors

I'm no developer and don't plan to be, but, how does a phone enters development support for CM and now LeanegeOS?

If a dev like this phone or using this phone now, he'll build it
Change your mi5s plus for mi5
Xiaomi...cheap and great
I am using redmi 2 for over a year now. Couldn't be happier with it
I already got the Mi5 and it was a beast with MIUI but the Mi5 get real firmware support. In 60 days we get 5 (stable) updates and anything works perfect but 5 inch is to small
Its a pain to unlock bootloader but it works...
When I look at the OnePlus 3T: Unlock bootloader in one min., TWRP already official, Kernel source released, based on Android 7.1 official and ROMs like LineageOS already works perfect, without official build.

I use a note 3 Samsung with lineageOs and it works great! I wouldn't change it (ir, micro sd, battery that you can change, etc.)

Zuk z1 , yureka , and one plus can be preffered as these phone officially ran on cm os ....
ALSO IN zuk z1 rooting and bootloader unlocking is covered under warranty

I think Wileyfox will be a good choice in the near futur. Bootloader unlocking is the easiest I've ever done. They made good price, good quality product, official Cyanogenmod support (but it's over now). They don't make overpriced product like OnePlus or ****ty one like Xiaomi (7 days just to have a code to unlock the bootloader) and Xiaomi have brand new smartphone variant every week. Redmi note, redmi note prime, redmi Pro, redmi note pro.... Hard to follow.
I've bought a wileyfox Swift 2 at 189€ - 30€ = 159€ on the official website after broke my OnePlus 1 screen. I find it's better than my OP1 except for the photography and for the rom support.
I've got before a moto g (peregrine + falcon) ZTE open C, Fx0, oneplus 1, Redmi note 4 sold 2 weeks after receive it. And wileyfox is one one the best quality/price I've ever had just after the Fx0.
not the "best" only "best fit"
Hi,
why not the ZTE Axon 7 (snapdragon 820, >=4Gb RAM; back fingerprint, usb-c + QC, Amoled; good photograph) ?
david
I have now a Xiaomi MI4 but for sure a Zaxon 7 is a good choice
Xiaomi MI5S plus user here. LineAgeOS is working for my phone (unnoficial), but is great!

I sell my mi5s plus, got the mi5s but main phone is the OnePlus 3T and it looks like I will never switch from OnePlus, because easy bootloader unlock and support for custom roms.
Xiaomi MI series vs. Xiaomi REDMI series = which line is better?
Everybody knows that Mi series goal is to be better than Redmi at least in specs and performance.
But how about performance to price ratio, how about all other things that You dont worry and dont expect in REDMI casue it's cheap but You do expect it in the MI series?
What are the problems/things that You don't like in MI series?
What are the problems/things that You don't like in REDMI series if there is any? WHY? Cause we all know not to expect wonders for a low budget priced phones.
I've talked to many people who had/have REDMI and MI series Xiaomi phones (clients, selllers, internet folks, friends) and they only agree on ONE thing -the price is great wheter it is REMI or MI phone.
A strange thing happens.... REDMI owners are always satisfied. The only thing that bothers not all of them is the camera quality.
But in low and middle price segment REDMI beats EVERY other BRAND.
Xiaomi has also great prices in the high end flagship models but here MANY PEOPLE are dissapointed.
For example camera quality, screen quiality, body, bezel, bugs, no NFC, no european B20 LTE band.
The MI users also tell me that non of the above bothers them but something totaly different. EACH person = an original problem with MI device.
Can You please tell me what are Your problems/dislikes with MI and REDMI devices cause I'm about to buy one from each segment?
What should I worry about (Android updates maybe?) buying a REDMI and a MI phone IN YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIANCE?
People who complain about camera quality on the MI Mix 2 are comparing it to flagships that cost significantly more--and that was before the price drop on the MI Mix 2. At this point flagship phones from Samsung, Apple and Huawei cost more than twice what a MI Mix 2 costs. If you are willing to spend $800-$1000 on a smart phone then you will certainly get a better camera. I don't expect a fantastic camera at this price point.

I'm sure the releasing Mi Mix 2S had something to do with that price. And BTW It should have equal cam quality like S9+ (DXoMark)

That psychological problem affects 90% phone users,
Redmi product line is ODM. The flagship models of MI/MIX are OEM.

If Mi/Mix are truly OEM, then who is the Client that provided Xiaomi the product design and specifications?
Hmm

In other word. MI/Mix are designed by xiaomi itself. Redmi is provided by a company called longcheer, even though xiaomi is holding much of it's share.

So in the long run (to receive updates for example as long as possible) it is better to buy a Mi rather than Redmi phone?
I’m thinking of replacing my Redmi 5 with a new packaged Mi Mix 2.
I'm worried about a battery that hasn't been charged for 3 years...Do you think the battery is ok after 3 years of standing in the box
PS: sorry for my English.
Changed for redmi 5 plus Carrefour ofer 130 eur
Sold redmi for 60

My mi mix 2 with original battery have screen on time 5 hours. With lineage you can expect littke less. 4 to 4.5 hours.
mi mix 2 July 2020
I got one last July. It works perfectly and the battery is as new. It had never been used but you should probably check that the battery has been kept above 0% else it might be damaged. Mine lasts 1-2 days (2 days without charging if I don't use too much).
