ur best bet for genuine higher capacity baterries are the ones used in redmi 2, its bm44 iirc... its the same size as the one used in 1s and i have confirmed that it works fine

are u sure about that cause if i brought that battery then there is no going back
so could give a me ny proof of this
if u wanna using another rom / kernel
i dont recommend using bm44 aka redmi 2 battery
because im using this battery and many latest rom based cm 11/12.1/13 not support this battery
ps: for best performance im using redmi 1s + bm 44 with miui 7 developer with kernel xcelerate build 8

Hi Guys,
So Recently I got my hands on a redmi 2 and I tried its battery (BM44 2200 mah) on my Redmi 1s. I can confirm that it works perfectly (using Armani Rom CM12.1 R8 stock kernel) .. no problem in charging or discharging.
The thing is I didn't see any noticeable improvement in battery life. Probably because the 150/200 mah bump is not that significant. If you have any experience regarding this fact, please share. I was actually considering buying a new BM44 for my 1s, then I though perhaps I should get a power bank instead.
Also if you know about any other higher mah battery for 1s, please let us know.

Yes,sure but I don't think at the moment there are any bigger batteries available for Redmi 1s and bigger battery means bigger SIZE..

Since I have Several Options are Available such as Redmi Note 5 Pro, Asus ZenFone Max M1, Realme 1, Redmi Note 5.
So Please Help me Out by suggesting, Which Phone to Buy. Since I need a Phone for Long Term Usage which should also support Rooting and Custom Roms.Performance and Battery Life is also a Concern.

For what it's worth.. I suggest the Xiaomi Note 5 Pro.
The Snapdragon 636 is a fine engine.. and the Price-To-Performance ratio is amongst the very best.
You just can't go wrong.. wether you leave it basically stock.. or go all out root/roms etc.

There is no "best" ROM but I like AEX or MIUI.
It Support quick Charge but is not certified so you may need to test some chargers. I use one from Anker.

well 'scuse me for not being a phone geek, there's a lot of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 type that I can't remember. First I thought my phone is Note 5 Pro but it's Oreo so I research again and I think mine is AI. And by Global, I mean it's Stable ROM, and support several language and not Chinese only. I just ask for some tips not for you to judge me. so F off

from 1% to 100% in 2 hours or less

Redmi Note 5 Pro still worth because it has gained a lot of Custom Rom and developers support.
But if Nokia's lineup(5.1, 6.1) or Mi A2 price drops then they worth Buying. I also see Infinix brand came with Android One. If you love Stock android then you might also try Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1.
