Hello!
Is there a way to install V4A without root?
I don't like the equalizer-app of our Mi A2 Lite, but if I want to install V4A with Magisk, my phone must be rooted.
I don't have a problem with root or Magisk but I don't want to unlock the bootloader because it will wipe the phone...
So...is there a way to install Viper4Android without root/Magisk?
Unlocked bootloader is needed to install Magisk and no, there is no way to install V4A without root.

Hi,
I want to use sunshine on my Verizon HTC 10 and then install systemless xposed.
I don't want to install any roms or anything else, just get some xposed tweaks.
Will i still be able to download and install any OTAs as usual without having to flash anything or lose my data?
If yes, how do i go about doing the above?
Thanks in advance!

If I remember correctly, you need the magisk installer to install magisk, then you need magisk to install the xposed installer, then the xposed installer to install the xposed framework (systemless), then the modules (downloads).
Everything is systemless, does not modify your system partition, so you should be able to still do OTAs without wiping your data. But that's if Verizon hasn't patched your latest firmware so that the temproot from sunshine will not work, in which case you would have to unlock your bootloader from htcdev.com, which will wipe your phone if it's not unlocked already.

I really want to use Android Pay but I'm not able to unless I have a locked bootloader. But then I will also lose root in the process. Anytime I reflash TWRP then lock the bootloader, it will just bootloop. Can someone help me please?
To use android pay you can flash magisk. AP should works fine with unlocked bootloader and root.

How does that work though? Does it trick AP into thinking that the bootloader is locked or...
I can't check if Android Pay works because my country does not support it, but it should work because my device passes SafetyNet with unlocked bootloader.
First you need an unrooted rom with franco kernel, because franco kernel hides the unlocked bootloader from SafetyNet.
2. Install Rootswitch and reboot into TWRP.
3. Install SuperSU in systemless mode.
4. Reboot into Android and disable root in the Rootswitch App.
5. Android Pay should work now.

I still get the "cant be used on this device error" even after following these instructions. I'm starting to wonder if root is even worth it.
Hello Guys,
I have a Oneplus 3 with Oxygen OS 4.0.1 with locked Bootloader atm because when I try to use Android Pay with Root and Freedom OS it doesn't work
I figured out that this Safetynet fails when I unlock my Bootloader but
I would like to get the EmojiOne Emojis back in Whatsapp and Android Keyboard is this Possible ?
Is there a Way to bypass Safetynet that I can use Root and V4A again ?
(I already tried Magisk)
Greetings
Magisk has an emoji one module, root, etc while passing safety net

It doesn't work on Oneplus 3 because it's nearly Stock and the Safety Thing checks for unlocked Bootloader......
I managed it by installing a custom Whatsapp Mod and maybe a custom Keyboard soon.....

In fact, Magisk patch the bootloader dm-verity (which is used by SafetyNet to check if your device is unlocked), so juste flash a completly stock system, check SafetyNet, and Install latest Magisk with the modules you want, reboot and you're good to go !

Working perfectly with the normal way of unlocking, installing TWRP and flashing Magisk
What can you do with root before it breaks ? (Xposed,Substratum,Adblocker or V4A working ?)
What were your Steps to get it working ?
Do you still have the DM-Veriy Warning on Boot ?

I'm running Open Beta 13 with an unlocked bootloader and Magisk with Substratum. I would recommend unlocking your bootloader, flashing stock, then rooting with just Magisk, not SuperSU. I followed these steps and I have it working, SafetyNet passed.

Its working perfectly on op3 with magisk. So relax.
You must check magisk hide in magisk settings ofc.
Running latest freedomOS CE and all good. Magisk, safetynet, V4A, abblock, substratum. All working.
So stop saying it doesnt work with unlocked bootloader, thats just bull****.
Update to latest version of Freedom OS.
I think you should try updating your ROM to latest version of Freedom OS. Has everything you need.
Thanks Guys
It works
Hello Everyone!
If i unlock bootloader and install magisk, afterwards relock the bootloader, then still magisk will work or i need to keep the bootloader unlocked?
Is there anyway to install magisk without unlocking bootloader on A2 Lite?
There is no way to install Magisk without unlocking the bootloader. Magisk = Root which means you have to have unlocked bootloader. You lock your bootloader after you install Magisk and you get bootloop.
Do not relock the Bootloader. It will prevent magisk from working correctly and updating.
Hi guys.
I have Mi pad 5 (Nabu) Global rom miui 13.0.1.0 ( RKXMIXM ) Now, Bootloader is locked. And haven't root yet.
I have idea to unlock bootloader and install Viper4android. For flexible to setting sounds.
But there's no official TWRP for now. And I don't want to root it.
Would it be possible if I do it without magisk?
Thanks in advance for all advice.
Viper4android will not work without root. You have to unlock the bootloader and flash patched boot.img.
If you don't want to root your device, then ist there no way to get Viper4android working in your Mi Pad 5.
Wavelet app should do the job if you do not want to root. It is similar to v4a you can select correct ddc for your headset etc. Limited in functions of course but works w/o issues.

My phone Redmi K20 is unlocked. But haven't root.
I have installed Viper4android via TWRP.
But now is none of TWRP for mi pad 5. So I have no idea how to install it.
Probably I have to rooting for this.
Do you think that will have TWRP for mi pad 5 in soon ?
