Hello Everyone!
If i unlock bootloader and install magisk, afterwards relock the bootloader, then still magisk will work or i need to keep the bootloader unlocked?
Is there anyway to install magisk without unlocking bootloader on A2 Lite?
There is no way to install Magisk without unlocking the bootloader. Magisk = Root which means you have to have unlocked bootloader. You lock your bootloader after you install Magisk and you get bootloop.
Do not relock the Bootloader. It will prevent magisk from working correctly and updating.

Hello!
Is there a way to install V4A without root?
I don't like the equalizer-app of our Mi A2 Lite, but if I want to install V4A with Magisk, my phone must be rooted.
I don't have a problem with root or Magisk but I don't want to unlock the bootloader because it will wipe the phone...
So...is there a way to install Viper4Android without root/Magisk?
Unlocked bootloader is needed to install Magisk and no, there is no way to install V4A without root.

Hi
I've unlocked bootloader and installa Magisk for install Gcam..
If now I remove Magisk and lock bootloader again I lose my data ?
I have a MiA2Lite with bootloader unlocked, magisk installed and update to Pie. If I wanted to receive OTA updates I should
a) remove magisk
b) re-lock the bootloader
c) both
which of the r options?

Do not relock bootloader, if you do you may not be able to recover later- without disassembling Device.
If you mess with the system partition other than a couple magisk modules, you may need to flash a stock image.. but very easy with bootloader unlocked, so again don't lock the bootloader.
There is a guide to temporarily uninstalling magisk for the OTA, and if you follow it will work. Upgrading to pie however you may need to flash the updated boot.img and patched_boot respectively through fastboot after the ota
Again emphasis on not relocking bootloader.
Use titanium backup to backup app data and move backup to external sd before flashing stock image to protect it or before trying the above for easier restoring.

Hello
I've installed lineage 17.1, my recovery is TWRP 3.4.0, I also installed Magisk.
Every time I restart my Phone I'll get a warning screen that my bootloader is unlocked.
My question is: is it better to lock the bootloader again or let it unlocked?
If I lock bootloader, can I still update lineage en will I keep root from magisk?
Do I loose data?
You need to have an unlocked bootloader to use Custom ROM like Lineage OS with root by Magisk.

It is dangerous to lock the bootloader while having a custom ROM. You will lose the ability to flash zip files if something goes amiss. In addition, while locking the bootloader, you will lose all data.
If you are on OOS, then you can safely lock the bootloader.
Locking of bootloader will not affect the custom ROM already installed or root.
