Does Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Supports Face Unlock Feature ?
Google Smart Lock Feature (Trusted Face) Is Also Not Working Or Unlocking The Phones. Is There Any Solution/Option For Face Unlocking.

I Have Tried "Smart Lock Feature (Trusted Face)" , But Somehow Its Not Working. Can You Please Guide Me .. Thanks...
When unlock face is configured You dont'have to enter pin or pattern to unlock phone - after waking up with the button.
I don't use this option i think is useless when phone has fingerprint sensor.

On Marshmallow, the camera preview doesn't show. It just unlocks if your face is seen. Otherwise you can enter your pattern.
On KitKat, you would have to wait for it to try and unlock using your face and this took longer and didn't always work. I think this is much better now.
Make sure you have good lighting and try it. Try to reapply the face unlock and improve the face matching.

On cyanogenmod. It shows a face in the bottom of the screen when turning on the screen. It means that gave unlock camera works.
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA-Developers mobile app

Required Power OFF Password or Finger Print Recognition to Switch OFF the Honor 8 Pro, if the device got stolen they can't switch OFF mobile, so that we can track down the location of the Mobile. Is that possible in future update?

Hi everyone,
Anyone know if you can set different fingerprints to open different apps/call a contact etc. from the lock screen? This was a feature on the Honor 5x (I'm not sure about 6x). You could set up to 5 different fingerprints, and I would set each one to open a different app from the lock screen. I've been looking for it on my phone Huawei Mate SE, but can't find it. Thanks.

That looks interesting and it's the first time I'm hearing it .I'm it's not present on current EMUI 5.1 or EMUI 8.0 for Honor 7x not sure about that SE though .I would like to know if it's possible to implement that feature in any way.

Hmm. Well if it's not present on EMUI 5.1 for Honor 7x, then it's probably not present on Mate SE either. It's running the same thing. Strange that it wouldn't be included... Also, it doesn't seem you can use the fingerprint scanner to take you to the home screen either, which is a feature that was on the Honor 5x as well.

It isn't an in built option but you can make it work using external apps like Finger Print Gestures Pro ( available on Playstore) it also has the feature to open apps for a particular gesture like double tap , swipe down fast etc., but I couldn't find any possiblity that allows us to use a particular registered fingerprint for opening an app like Touchid assignment on iPhone.
1) The first bug is common with xiaomi A2 users.
Which is 100% cpu frequency all the time.
A lot of users blame the fingerprint sensor, but after not using it and use only PIN and face unlock this issue returned again.
To test if your device has this issue, just install "cpu monitor" app from playstore and see.
See screenshot below
2) The second bug is after updating to miui 10 stable, if you locked the screen and then drag the notification bar you can play with wifi, mobile data, GPS toggles ... etc. As you want.
Disable them or enable them without need of PIN or password.
If you have these issues comment below, maybe xiaomi fix these problems in the next update.
I don't have both of these bugs. I am using xiaomi.eu Miui 10 Stable

A lot of Chinese and global stable rom users confirmed they have both bugs.
You are lucky.
The first bug only applies to people with devices having a "Goodix" fingerprint scanner, you can check by downloading Aida 64 and looking in the device section. It seems to affect the Redmi Note 5, MI A2 and some users are reporting MI A2 lite as well. For some reason the bug only gets triggered if the phone is unlocked using the fingerprint scanner while the screen is off resulting in all the cores locking at max clock speed. The only way to avoid it apparently is either disabling the fingerprint scanner or turning the screen on first then using the fingerprint scanner. Both of which are an inconvenience. I just received mine yesterday and thankfully I have a "FPC" fingerprint scanner so I got lucky. I agree, they need to address bugs more efficiently.
I don't have any experience with the second since I decided not to update until a newer update comes out because I already read about all the bugs so I'm still on MIUI 9.5.19.0

Hello!
For everyone who wants to remove the fingerprint animation, that greatly decreases the time to unlock the device, you just have to:
1 - Install the app Settings Database Editor
2 - Open the app
3 - Touch on "+ Add new setting"
4 - Type fod_animation_type
5 - Save changes
6 - Set 4 as value
7 - Save changes
8 - Done
This app does not require root.
To enable the animation again just remove that setting or edit the value (to 1 or 2 or even 3)
Cheers!
Great tip, thanks man!
Work like chaarm thank you
Amazing ? thank you
Thats placebo, the fingerprint wont be fast cause the animation is gone...

Useful instruction, I think many will come in handy and like it. Only the speed does not seem to affect, either for the better or for the worse. But still, turning off the animation - a useful thing).
Thank!)

Hi, can I fix the proximity sensor using this app? Proximity sensor is not working for me.
Thanks for this tip. It is certainly faster as don't have to wait for animation to unlock. By the way, is there a way to stop fingerprint vibration too? That will save battery ...
Hey! Follow the steps but animation stay, whats make wrong?
Edit: ok, solved, my fail... write "time" not "type"

Nice tip .. working fine

Why u bought mi a3 if u didn't want stock android ?
The speed gain from this is minimal, though without the animation you can tell that the delay is probably the software's fault and not the sensors . Just put your finger on the sensor and remove it immediately. You 'll see that it unlocks but with the same delay as if you had your finger on it. So from my point of view there's still hope for a faster unlock on a future update.
Wish there was a way to remove vibration. Sometimes i dont want to unlock, but it must vibrate.
