I searched everywhere but can't find any solution regarding my earpiece. The volume is very less. I can barely hear the other person. Please any solution? I am on Pixel experience oreo.

Does your loud speaker crackles while speaking with someone and volume is more than a half up or at max?
Maybe my note II speaker is bad but I have seen other threads about this but not much statistics and answers! Crackling is pretty obvious when volume is high on mine...
Music sounds normal, but mostly voice is crackling, especially when in call. Annoying!
Had no problems until i had a SDS.
It has been repaired and after that the sound is crackling but not on the voices but on alarms etc. I adjusted the volumes but noting seems to be helping. Even when set on a minimum.
When I put the phone on speakerphone no matter who I'm talking to I can barely hear them on speakerphone even in a quiet area. Can anyone help me? I'm stock and unrooted and have had this phone for only 7 months.
Try the volume button while in call. If your speakers work fine in apps etc then you can assume you're experiencing the same issues as everyine else.. Poor sound volume. Its a feature of the m9 and some swear the m8 was louder but I can confirm that htc changed nothing between them as far as speaker sound volume goes.
You also have to remember that if the other person you're in a call with has a poor quality microphone the sound can be affected before your phone.
This said, i can hear people fine even with the rumble of my car engine behind it (parked, of course).

Anyone else having the same problem?
Tested it out in my car, and there were huge noise/distortion clicks during quiet and busy song parts. So, went to use headphones (ATH M50) and experienced the same problems.
It started becoming apparent during the 3rd-4th volume rocker click to the left, so it's almost full blast.
I only use full volume during driving, and the headphones were a test on it (I'd go deaf in no time lol) but, the 10 should be able to handle it well on full volume correct?
I have owned the 6P, S7 and the M8...and all 3 never had this problem before.
Would it just be a software bug/or quality build?
One more thing out of topic (but I'm not too knowledgeable on it) is the yellowing bottom screen. I may have the yellowing screen, or it may be the screen protector (Spigen Crystal Clear) I'm using. How obvious/apparent is the screen uniformity?
I apologize for the long post, so Thank You in advanced if you have any findings!
Are you saying the 6P, S7 and m8 do not have this problem? Confused by your wording.
It might be your headphones. Btw full volume on most headphones is pretty bad for your hearing just a FYI. I use about 80-90% volume when I mow the lawn and dont get any static or distortion.

Ah, thanks for the quick proofread!
Yes, the 6P/S7/M8 did not have this problem for me.
As mentioned, I don't use full volume on the M50 headphones or any other earphones I use. I only used full volume on the M50's to specifically look for the noise/distortion at high volume outputs for a few seconds. And as with what happened to my car's audio jack, both produced the same results.
This hasn't happened with my previous devices, even the M8 or S7. So was just wondering if it has happened to you, or any other owner, as it would be difficult to repair/replace with how HTC is handling service atm.
Much appreciation for you input though, and for any other findings!
If you think it's a defect issue I'd definitely contact HTC.
Looking beyond the release of this phone HTC actually has excellent CS. I contacted them about an issue with my screen emitting a high pitched whining noise and they were very interested in the issue. Helped me out and even gave me a follow up call to make sure it was all fixed up. Remember they sold the phone through Digital River and most of the issues with shipping confusion was on their end.
Good luck
Good evening everyone, I noticed that my Pixel Watch, during calls with a low volume the audio is really low, while if I turn up the volume, the audio distorts a lot. Anyone have the same problem? is it a problem with the Pixel Watch?
It appears to be a defect in the design.
I read about a lot of people getting the watch replaced by Google.
Hi is anyone else facing in call low volume? i can barely hear people on the other end of the call, i believe the sound is coming from the speaker on top of the phone rather than the earpiece.
Isn't that speaker supposed to be for loudspeaker?
Thanks
I've also noticed the earpiece speaker is pretty low. It's only a tiny slot at the top of the phone though.

No such issue for me, in quiet enviroment I cant even push it above 50% because it would be too loud.
