No it has selective focus or you can use google camera for potrait mode
You can get it with google camera port, it works perfectly ! Of course you can't be far away from the subject as you can on dual camera lenses, but at least you shouldn't be as close as you should be when using selective focus.

Well rotate the screen, lock the auto rotate, enter the camera, turn the phone back to the position you want to hold it..
It should work?
But when i lock it, it automatically returns to portrait !
Hmm I donno then, it seems to work for me?
Would have thought it possible to do an app like that. Would be handy as hell thinking about it

An app would be perfect tho... or feauture of the camera..
Would be awesome if some1 developed this app
The funny thing is while watching that YouTube video. The playback does exactly that. Why not be able to record the same way, cant be that hard for someone who actually knows what they are doing.

Some app developers should be around here.... Or else does anybody know one which we/I can contact to make this app?
c'mon any developerr here??
Does the Nexus 7 stock camera app come with HDR or flash? I'm not seeing it as an option on mine, but I thought for sure at least HDR would be an option.
Nope. There's nowhere to flash from

How about HDR?
Nope, no HDR. I don't think HDR would really be necessary, this is a very low quality camera.

Megapixels are just the size of a picture. The light sensor/focus are what makes a camera quality or not.
HDR on a 3892 megapixel camera with terrible sensors will still look bad.
In this error if we take pictures in sunlight with no beautify the image comes complete black
Check yours
I have same problem in my note 5 pro

I keep hearing that the LG G8 can do portrait video but I'm unable to find that setting. Can anyone help me?
I haven't opened my G8 yet (Tmo) but just like any other phone portrait mode is just the angle you're holding your phone? Im sure you dont need a setting to rotate it to portrait or landscape. Just my thoughts anyway.

Yes It is normal. I visited Samsung shop, and the guy there told me, this is a feature Samsung added. Anyway I do not hear it anymore. It is weird, and I am glad it is gone.
This used to happen on top Lumias in the past
It's to do with it trying to focus, it don't sound good but it fine
