Hi there. This is a bit of a complicated one.
Summary, bought a used 3UK branded Razer Phone (I'm in Australia). Phone was factory reset via software by previous owner. Tried to set it up but it ended up asking for "previous device pin" or "sign in with Google account used prior to wipe". Previous owner couldn't remember the pin nor willing to share google account info (also probably don't know which one he used, he has multiple). So basically right now I have an expensive coaster.
I've tried wiping/factory reset via recovery mode. Still on stock rom. No change.
I've been reading up and wants to get the stock global Oreo rom on it. But so far it requires me to unlock bootloader (which requires phone access to enable developer option/usb debug mode) that I am unable to do. Is there anyway to load any stock rom easily without access to settings on phone. I can still go into recovery and trigger "download mode".
Just want to use the phone right now. Upgrade to Oreo can come later.
Thanks in advanced. Hope everyone is having a great day.
Nevermind. I found a video guide on how to bypass it.

Hello and good day XDA
I need help unbricking my device.
Before I go on ahead, let me give some background:
My huawei is the latam version and it was originally carrier locked, but since I like tinkering stuff I went ahead and switched the build.prop to match a device eligible for upgrade (yes very irresponsible I know). but it worked and I had my phone with Emotion UI 1.5
I carried it around like this for a couple of months until today I tried rooting the device using genokolar's tools.
And well... I done gone and bricked it.
Currently, the device is stuck in bootloader and I can access both fastboot and recovery. (it can also charge)
I canĀ“t seem to get adb access when I plug it in so the only option I'm seeing is to force update with the sd card.
the only problem I'm facing is that I get version list verify fail (using the latest ics firmware from the website).
do you guys know of any way to unbrick it via another method, or tweak the UPDATE.APP file to bypass version listing?
Thanks again for your help.
I am sorry if this has happened to 40 other people and mentioned every day but I am at the end of my patience trying to figure this out and have too many tabs open with redundant info!!!
I attempted to unlock my bone-stock up-to-date (v6.0.1) one m9 developer edition using this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/general/guide-root-install-twrp-htc-one-m9-t3061133 but after following all the directions when it was time to restart it just gave me the screen with the red development only warning for about 2 or 3 seconds then reset and repeated.. it says it may do this a few times but it did it like 10+ times so I figured there was a problem. Since then I have tried many different files from many different places.
I do not have a working backup copy of my phone (my bad) but I did make a backup of the system image onto my sd card.
As of now, if I reboot it sends me to the white bootloader screen after trying to follow another similar page with directions to root (specifically mentions android v6.0 in the title).
The phone is now S-on.
LK-1.0.0.00000
Radio 01.01-U11440892_97.00.51203G_F
OpenDSP-15.6.1.00522.8994_1026
OS-3.35.617.12
The recovery mode loads to TWRP 2.8.7.1_CPTB-B1
Eventually my main goal was to get this phone to work "correctly" with Tmobile US (wifi calling and fastest available internet connection) but for now I just want it to load back up to my system (hopefully without losing the data that is currently in it!!!)
Can anybody recommend which files I need to put on and which way you recommend?
Thanks in Advance!!!!

You can't root Android M with a different SuperSU version than 2.64 or 2.65. (Keyword: system-less root)
There's backup for your version in my thread. Instructions how to correctly restore it can be found in my google sheet (linked in the 5th post or my signature).
I'm not 100 % sure but I guess you need to flash the T-Mobile firmware if you want to use their WIFI-calling. For that you need S-OFF. Otherwise you can't change the firmware. (Wouldn't it have been easier to buy a T-Mobile branded phone than buying a dev edition, paying for either Sunshine or someone who has a java card and convert the phone to the T-Mobile version? )
I have a tab S4 that is locked by the previous owner.
and I don't know the person to get the google account or password.
Any thoughts on how to unlock it
I can reset to factory default, but it keeps asking for the previous person account and password.
can I install a new rom and get past the user lock ?

thanks for the link. I am not sure which of the roms I should use .... should I use the latest one ?
I purchased a tab s4 on ebay with the locked by user problem.
I followed this thread :

I am able to install the combination firmware, but am unable to install the stock firmware listed there ... odin 3.13.1 will not load it, repeatedly fails
Is there a combination firmware of the stock firmware that I can install?....( does that even make sense)
All I want is a working tablet .. don't need root or anything else.
Although if rooting it will help I could probably do that, but I am afraid of bricking it!
Edit : follow up, I got it working I needed a later firmware and it loaded fine
This is the firmware dated 12/2018

My wife had been on whatever stock ROM came on her Pixel 2 since i bought it with no issues. She ran into a problem after maxing out her storage that the phone wouldn't boot and stayed stuck at the "G" boot screen. I got that fixed by sideloading an OTA of what seems to be some pre-release version of Android. it says "R" version. Many vital apps aren't working correctly - messaging, gmail, can't search from google bar, camera stopped working properly. So i am thinking i should start fresh and install something else now that at least the OS is back booting properly and hopefully everything will work ok.
I just want to make sure if anyone can help tell me what i'm dealing with, i believe this was a locked bootloader? not sure i can or need to unlock it.... > Install twrp... > Flash stock rom...? she doesn't need a fancy rom just something simple and stable.
Here's some of her vital info, any tips greatly apprecaited as i'm out of the loop on this stuff and an old pedestrian user at best.

Since your phone boots now. Simply wiping out everything should do the trick i guess.
Yeah. You can a factory reset. Your are currently on Android 11(R) preview ROM, it's still in the early phases and not suitable as a daily driver.
If all fails you can always flash a factory image, just remember to backup your data first.
Is this device a carrier device and if so, which carrier? You can only flash factory images with an unlocked bootloader so you need to figure that out first.
To figure out if you can unlock the bootloader you will first have to figure out if you have a Google or Verizon variant. Google variants can be unlocked. Verizon variants, for the most part, can't (although there is a thread where I believe someone may have done it on a Verizon variant). To figure out if you have a Google or Verizon, go here... https://www.imeipro.info/check_lg.html
Under "Buyer Name", if it says Google you're good to go. If it says Verizon or VZW, then you can't unlock the bootloader (unless the method in the thread I mentioned above actually works).
If you find you have a Google variant then via fastboot unlock the bootloader and fastboot flash the latest Q factory image.

u need check ur phone can or not unlock bootloader.
if can... first thing u need to do is enable " oem unlock" in "development options"
when u unlock u can flash whatever firmware you want.
.
the problem u in android 11 . this very much bug.
Once you unlock, it'll wipe the phone.
You say you're running 11 DP1... At this point, I'd suggest signing up for the beta program and let the system update to I'd imagine the latest preview. Doing this should not wipe the phone.
From there you should have a working device and can back up what you want.
You should be given the option to unenroll on the beta website. Doing that, will downgrade the phone to the latest 10 release. it WILL also wipe the phone.
Go here. I see there's a link that could help you out.

So, my buddy recently got this A520F from a seller while he was in Germany. Which turned out to not only be FRP locked but the information to gmail account was apparently forgotten.
I've spent the whole night so far trying to fix it, and decided I'll just go through the old method of going down to a Factory Bios and reupgrading to a stock one. Apparently, FRP didn't like that very much, because installing the stock bios works fine up until system, where FRP blocks it stating its modified.
I'm unsure where to go from here. My latest attempt has me in a message saying to use Emergency recovery function, which I'm wondering if might be able to do something?
The full model number if that is any helpful would be SM-A520FZDDXSG. I'm completely stumped and some advice on how to go forward would be appreciated.
Tldr;
FRP believes stock system binary is modified
