Samsung S9 unknown notification icons - Samsung Galaxy S9 Questions & Answers

Hi I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the square icon in the top left corner. It's the square with to circles a small one on top with a big one in the bottom. It looks like a speaker.
Thanks in advance
Andrew

Try reading a quick overview on notifications. You can answer your question in 3 movements of a finger and we don't have enough info from you to ever answer it without a lucky guess

If it's on the left it's a notification icon, so pull down and see what notifications are running and try closing them one at a time.

AFAIK dcinobar completely removes the buttons at the bottom of the screen. What he is looking for is sort of a skin that can be applied to the bars. WisBar may be more like what you are looking for: http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/products/pocketpc/WisBarAdvance/

Now why would you want to do that? You have too much time on your hands.

i take it that it probably cannot be done as that side ir your notification bar, when ever you get a text or something goes on text flashes on it. but if you download certain apps, eg. advanced taskiller, 3g watchdog, setcpu
they occupy that space nicely
You can download phono from the market it will put a carrier logo on the top bar to the left.

Keep navigation bar position regardless of position?

Is there anyway to have the navigation bar stay on the right when the display is in landscape orientation?
It takes up so much room when it's on the bottom position while in landscape mode...

The "Navigation bar" (sometimes called navbar) is the Home, Back, Multitask black strip.
See how much space it's taking up at the bottom? I'm looking for a mod that'll move it to the right edge of the screen while in landscape mode.

In aokp Roms there is the option to move it to the side. I know for a fact its in Jamison's solo ROM. You change ui to phone instead of phablet and it will appear on the side.

You can set it up so it can launch from the right or left side. I currently have it set to launch when I slide from the right to left bottom.

h2os bottom drawer

Anyone willing to port/remake the bottom drawer from h2os mm? I really love it and it is a good thought out idea coming from the Chinese roms, especially for devices with such a large screen where sliding the status bar needs two hands or one hand with phone moving.

I too love this bottom drawer. It would be better if someone ports this to Oxygen OS. I know this means the total System Ui must be changed.. But still,. this is good call for phones with large display.
Hope @xda -developers, anyone can try..
Thanks in advance if this is ported..
