AFAIK dcinobar completely removes the buttons at the bottom of the screen. What he is looking for is sort of a skin that can be applied to the bars. WisBar may be more like what you are looking for: http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/products/pocketpc/WisBarAdvance/

It's about BaseHue setting.
Install this program.
The shortcut will be install under 'Accessories'.
Launch the program
Tick on 'Menu'
Tick on 'Select Greyscale'
Drag the marker to your choice
Tick on apply.

Good Luck.
anyone else wonder where this forum is heading to? it used to be the most popular place for hermes owners but now it looks like the hermes grave yard

My dear austisync,
Why did you say like that? Please can you elaborate more. Maybe we could discuss it further.
maybe you misunderstand what i mean,i mean that the top and bottom bar is fully black,don't contain a bar of white

hello friend! it works great!!! thanx a lot! now the colors are nicer... bye!
Try this theme
I don't know how it does it, but the attached .tsk file makes everything solid black including the top and bottom bars. It is not a function of basehue.

It;s a BaseHue thing and plus some color registry setting to make it Flat solid. If you don't believe me then check the registry setting in the theme file. Only that if you want a flat taskbar then say it as maybe " I want a solid flat taskbar...bla...bla...bla...". So it's a little bit clearer.
I won't say it in the first place if I don't really know.
OK. Let me extract the registry code for you from your black.tsk theme file.
Code:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Color]
"BaseHue"=dword:000000a0
"4"=hex:ff,ff,ff,00
"6"=hex:6e,6e,6e,00
"10"=hex:4a,49,4a,00
"39"=hex:ff,ff,ff,00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Black.tsk]
"Color_Highlight"=hex:6e,6e,6e,00
"Color_SoftkeyFlatCenter"=hex:00,00,00,00
"Color_TitleFlatCenter"=hex:00,00,00,00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today]

Happens to mine on my Mogul. Wish I could just take the clock of the title bar and just have the plug in.
there are REG edits to take the clock off of the title bar... If you need your clock to be more accurate than what the one on the phone is you should probably be using something a little better than your phone to tell time!
strange my 6700 didnt have this problem
could someone with a solution shed some light onto this matter

Then again, if you buy an IT device that costs as much as the Hermes, you'd think that the clock would be accurate.

I tried the reg edit but there is a block where the time used to be, and while it blends in with the bar itself, it overlaps the item to its left a little.
And i have the same problem. its weird.

Clock issue

Hey guys for some reason the calender icon no longer shows up next to my clock. Im not talking about the tab icon in the corner im talking about the actual bigger icon....no idea why can anyone help

Yeah, I can help you, but WHAT icon do you want. As you can tell your statement contradicts itself. So which icon doesn't show up, the one next to your clock or the Bigger icon. You said the calendar icon next to you clock no longer shows up, but you want the bigger icon, HUH?!?
no it dosent contradict it self because in the corner of each panel theres a tiny icon and then next to the clock theres a big icon so i clafied that, i need the big icon right next to the numbers of the clock. it was a calender or soemthing please help its drivin me nuts
I think I know what you're trying to say
First off don't be so quick to jab, you are coming here for help you know. I was just pointing out that what you said really isn't describing your problem correctly.
That being said. I think what you are referring to is your alarm. It has a picture and it's right next to your clock as you call it or the time display portion of your Clock Panel. Anyway, it only shows when your alarm is present. Try turning on your alarm and see if that does it.
If that is not what you are talking about, then the only other thing I could think of is that you mean your tiny icon could be your inactive icon or your active icon. These would require registry edits to put them back on your screen. You need to go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\Clock and edit where it says the icon paths are. Not hard to do. Also you might want to edit the HKLM\Security\CHome\Default Settings\Clock portion of the iconpaths. This should fix that. If that is your problem. Other than that, you're on your own. Unless you can articulate yourself better or in a fashion in which all can understand you or your dilemma!!
Cheers!

Clock falls behind
I'm having problems with the clock falling behind. I go to sleep, wake up, and the clock is about 20-30 minutes behind. I'm running the 6.1 rom. Any help is appreciated.

So are you saying that, with knowing the right key in the registry, one could change that dinky looking transparent music note on the Music panel to, say, something with more class? I have several icons at my disposal (as I'm sure most here do) and would love to change that icon...Also, the tiny icon on the upper left corner of the home panel just next to the carrier (T-Mo) is just a calendar...it was something different before I hard reset the phone with this ROM installed. If you know these keys, please list them! I'd appreciate it ever so much!
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\ and HKLM\Security\CHome\Default Settings

Just find the folder of the panel you wish to modify and look for the key iconpath, within that folder. Direct it to your own icon.
FYI export the keys just in case you goof up something, you can import them again

yup in both reg address though
Also you would have to type it out as: \Windows\music.png;\Windows\music.png
Cause the first is for active window icon and the second is for inactive window icon.
ok well...it changed the small icon in the title of the panel but not the main icon
I want to replace the WM6.1 default transparent music note with the png I have placed in windows...where do I alter that or can I?
can you post a screen shot of the icon you want changed.
i cant picture which one you are speaking off.

Try going to the reg to and changing HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\CMusic\Images\chMusic_noalbumart and the same in Security reg for chome. I think those change the big default icon that shows when no album art is present.

Thanks for the tip. For clarity, I speak of the transparent music note that is positioned just to the left of "Play All Songs" within the panel. Now I can't believe it'd be too hard to spot. I've flashed my phone with Kavana's so those with that ROM can't have too different a panel!
On that note, pun intended, I may have found it due to your suggestion Showaco! I should have investigated more. I mean it was right there!

ok so their is no prossible way even manually?
You can make some manually using a manila editing app, like CFC GUI. I made some in the 2nd post of the thread in my signature if you need some reference filenames.
WOW thanks will look at this after the gym, is it easy this way, also if i sent u the icons would u help me out if i get stuck, ?
thank you
Nope, it's a pain in the arse. The icons have to be aligned a few pixels from the top left corner because Sense crops them when it puts them on screen. Annoyingly the alignment is slightly different for the top layer of tab icons to the bottom layer. It means editing each icon 3 times. If you're just doing the level 0 tabs there are 13 tabs, so 39 edits to get them to show up exactly right. After making my Windows 7 pack I decided not to make any more!

Keep navigation bar position regardless of position?

Is there anyway to have the navigation bar stay on the right when the display is in landscape orientation?
It takes up so much room when it's on the bottom position while in landscape mode...

The "Navigation bar" (sometimes called navbar) is the Home, Back, Multitask black strip.
See how much space it's taking up at the bottom? I'm looking for a mod that'll move it to the right edge of the screen while in landscape mode.

In aokp Roms there is the option to move it to the side. I know for a fact its in Jamison's solo ROM. You change ui to phone instead of phablet and it will appear on the side.
