Power button buggy - Sony Xperia XA2 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I have a weird bug with my power button. Sometimes it does not react when i press it and sometimes it behaves like i touched it twice (screen goes off and on again)
I am on stock firmware with unlocked bootloader
I want to know if anyone else is having that issue and maybe a way to fix it
Thanks.
P.S: you can also pm me on telegram: @Schrittii

Weird issue, it began when you unlock bootloader or something? If not, maybe could be a hardware issue ?

[Q] Problem after unlocking bootloader with Freegee

Hi Guys,
I recently unlocked the bootloader of my Optimus G (E987 flashed to E975) using Freegee (Downloaded from the market) and installed TWRP. I did a back up of the EFS partition before this.
Now, I'm having some weird issues when charging the phone while it's off. I noticed that I have a new charging animation and after a few seconds it disappears like the screen it's going to turn off but it never does!! It stays on a black/gray screen but is still on as you can see the brightness. It never turns off! Also, if I unplugged the phone and hit the power button the screen turns on and the charging animation appears, like the phone was still charging :/
I need some help! I downloaded an alternative bootloader. What should I do? Should I flash the alternative bootloader and will this solve the problem?
thanks!!

Do you selected MAKO bootloader, or STOCK bootloader?
I will explain quickly. STOCK bootloader had that problem, you cant charge your phone when its off. We have the MAKO alternative because it work fine, i mean you can charge it off.
PD: im from Argentina too:good:

Hi!! I installed the STOCK bootloader :/ So what's the solution? What can I do now to fix this? Should I "unblock" the bootloader again installing MAKO bootloader? I also downloaded, from the forum, an alternative bootloader (cwm-geeb-4-3-z20i-bootloader_only.zip).
By the way, I didn't see an option to send you a private message!
Muchas gracias!!!
it is better not to unlock bootloader .. it causing problems only... on LGs ..

You can flash the bootloader that you download, i did this one time. In my case when flash bootloader from recovery no problems. you should dont have problems.
Maybe i dont have the option active?

I did it cause I needed to solve the baseband issue after flashing my E987 to E975...Freegee has an option to "re-lock" I think it's to install stock recovery and bootloader but I don't have any of those, do you know where I could get them?

I installed the bootloader that you told me (wm-geeb-4-3-z20i-bootloader_only.zip) but I'm still having the same problem, I don't know what else to do to solve this. I wouldn't want to go back to the stock ROM, I like this one =/
The only problem is that the screen doesn't completely turns off while charging the phone when it's off.

Is not a ROM problem, is a bootloader problem. With mako i dont have this issue. But i hear that some people have issues charging with phone off.
with any bootloader. simple charge it with phone on, or restore bootloader backup and go to stock rom...

to all those who has faced this issue you can solve it by repair using SUS or PCC. so there is nothing to worry except you will lose your data

exactly!!!!!!!!:crying:
Your problem is exactly like my problem.
I spoke with an engineer technicians Mobile!
Nfc and the rest of your old device and then he say firmware update, or flash custom kernel looking into the firmware itself could have some!
Or wait for Sony to be updated!
So tell me, but also my previous version was 4.3!
i probably bug in rom!!!
I think it's not bad, we reported Sony or Mr. @DooMLoRD

If device starts when connected to charger then your problem will be solved when you change battery. Don't loose time on any other speculation
Nothing else to add, kudos!

htc m8 shuts down anytime, even on 100% battery

my htc one m8 shouts down anytime, even on 100% battery. I am only able to run it on power bank, is this a software issue or i need to get the battery replaced?
ANYONE FACING SAME ISSUE?

flash the stock RUU for your device if it's available and see how it's going
But i think it's battery related,maybe i'm wrong and it's rom/kernel related

Did you read the previous posts in this thread? When posting to a thread, it would make sense for you to actually thread the thread, as the solutions posted may be useful.

How to enter recovery options? It threw me to red triangle exclamation icon and stucked there.

Hold vol down, then press and release power button.
But you won't find too many useful options in the stock recovery aside from factory reset and wipe cache. Which are worth a try (obviously, you will lose your data if you factory reset) but not necessarily fix anything (and I'd say its pretty unlikely to help).

LG G4 don't Boot

Hello everyone
Few days ago my phone suddenly power off and when I power on again android doesn't boot. Phone stay on LG logo. I try other mod. Download mod is OK but I can't enter to recovery mod. Now I have some questions?
1- is possible I flash stock ROM on my phone and it fix?
2- is this problem is hardware's issue?

The g4 has a known and publicly released bootloop issue. Read into it. You may find its your issue.

My issue isn't bootloop. But thanks

That most definitely is a boot issue and is generally lumped in with the phone constantly rebooting, i.e. boot looping. My G4 is currently being repaired for the same thing.

I think you are wrong on that. that is exactly what the bootloop issue is. And yes its hardware related. Every g4 is a ticking timebomb

You are right about that. It is the well know g4 boot loop from a faulty hardware. The best he can do is to have it repaired or if he wants to try and mess with it there is a thread to troubleshoot that in this same forum but dunno what g4 version does he have.
