Remove Sound Icon From Status Bar - LG G7 ThinQ Questions & Answers

I've got a G7+ LM-G710GAW (Hong Kong), and l can't get rid of the sound icon (to the left of the WiFi icon) on the status bar. It changes with the sound mode, but never goes away? Any ideas?

You can try to download System UI Tuner, grant permissions with ADB (no root needed) and see if you can do something, I think there's an option to disable that icon in the statusbar.

Icon Noticatios not work

Hi Everyone ,
could help me to show the notification on the icon belong to The LG G3 , like example :
Facebook , what's up ...
i didn't saw any notification on this icon but when i run the application i found to many notification ,
so if there any option to show Or hide icon notification please help
Coming from iOS? By default, Android does not show notification badges over app icons, although there are some launchers (like Nova) that do have this option. Notifications are shown in the notification tray when you pull down from the status bar. From there, you can interact with them.

G4 TweaksBox on v10
Original Thread Here - Thanks @P_Toti

I want to stress before I go any further that this is not my work, I am sharing it since I had success using it. The Original Thread is Here. I Was looking for an easy way to customize my setup and just experimented with the G4 Tweakbox. Since both devices are very similar and both running Lollipop, decided to give it a try and it worked like a charm. I have 4 Way Reboot, Center Clock and it looks great.

22 is arm64, for lollipop 5.1.1, 23 I believe is for Marshmallow. you will get an error and it won't flash trying to install that on the v10 .. All the second screen issues are not present. Everything is working great.. I have zero problems
Edit* Second screen issues are already fixed, I am running the deodexed ROM in the Android Development section version 1.3

Alright, I'm still on stock ROM in hopes of somehow getting Android Pay to work. Plus I dont want to set everything back up again anyway. I've already deleted all the bloatware and have things working the way I like them, I dont see much need to change ROMs. So I think I'll have to install the second screen fixes.

If you are rooter android pay won't work so I would flash the deodexed ROM. You will have more functionality with xposed than you do now and Android Pay Still won't work in either situation...
Systemless Root on Marshmallow and we will be good to go for Android pay

You can do that on custom ROMs, it's the SuoerSU app, just pick full unroot, reboot and you should be good to go... Systemless Root is out for marshmallow so it is only a matter of time before it will work with root.. We are not there yet... Android pay works on rooted roms for the nexus 6 and 6p

Went ahead and installed it!
I noticed something strange, the statusbar tweaks under theme tweeks actually added the carrier text that wasnt visible before, causing me to have to use a tweak to disable it. No biggie I guess.
But the color options for statusbar icons dont work for me. Have you tried those?

I had exactly the same issue with the carrier text, but because its enabled by defualt is why it is there, I have not tried to color the status bar icons, I didnt play too much because it requires a restart after every change, but every tweak worked for me. I did the pull downs, changed the colors, made it transparent, the navbar as and the messaging app color form orange to blue as well as the advanced reboot. All without issues

Status bar

With Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite it's not clear how the quick features in the status bar for tones with Android One work.
If I want that it's set with only the vibration how should I set up? And if I want to remove all the tones how I have to proceed?
I also find the icons in the status bar unclear. They are grey and if they are selected they become only slightly darker so I often do not understand if they are selected or not. There are applications that allow for example that if the function / icon is selected it appears colored and if it is not selected it is grey (Nova Launcher for example)? Is the status bar with Pie clearer?
If from Android One you switch to Pie (without root?) and then you are not happy with it it's possible to go back to One?

How to get rid of the NFC icon under Pie?

Hi folks,
Does anyone know how we can get rid of the stupid NFC icon under Pie (without turning off NFC)?
I don't need that big N taking up place in my status bar, I just leave NFC on all the time so I know it's on.
I read something about system UI tuner, but I don't find that on my phone.
I'm still running Oreo, but in SystemUi Tuner you can't disable Nfc icon in statusbar.
Pull down quicksettings, tab & hold the settings icon until a message appears, that SystemUi Tuner is activated. Go to settings - system and SystemUi Tuner should be there.
thanks. I found here how to activate this in Pie (it changed), but there's no NFC to be found there...

Nfc icon

I can see that my nfc icon is on the status bar only when I pull down my notification panel. When I do this it is there in the status bar. Once that menu is gone and am on my home screen the NFC icon is gone.
I have a s20 ultra. Is this normal?
31 views and no answer. Can someone please check it for me and let me know
It's normal

Yes this is normal... If you want to fully hide it, good lock can do that
Thank you
