I can see that my nfc icon is on the status bar only when I pull down my notification panel. When I do this it is there in the status bar. Once that menu is gone and am on my home screen the NFC icon is gone.

As the title, i just want to hide the statusbar. I've tried "gmd hide bar" and "full!screen" but it can't show incoming call screen. So, could someone make a mod to hide statusbar? Thanks

Use App Settings through XPOSED FRAMEWORK. It has this feature. Search on the xda thread to get that.
Sony has introduced the transparent status bar, if that helps.
I'm sure, if not already, it'll filter down to the Sony XPERIA 2012 range soon.
Make Your Xperia Z, T, TX, V Status Bar and On-Screen Buttons Transparent
You can see your wallpaper, with the status bar transparently overplayed.
Just an option if it works for you.
Hi Everyone ,

i didn't saw any notification on this icon but when i run the application i found to many notification ,
so if there any option to show Or hide icon notification please help
Coming from iOS? By default, Android does not show notification badges over app icons, although there are some launchers (like Nova) that do have this option. Notifications are shown in the notification tray when you pull down from the status bar. From there, you can interact with them.

I'm on lineage os 14.1 may 2018 build.. I had a question regarding the status bar on the desktop(nova launcher)..
My status bar is dark, black color and it doesn't change with my desktop background. So whenever I have a black background I can no longer see my status bar while on the desktop. Is there any way to make the status bar adapt to the desktop color like it does while i am in other apps?

Sorry for the trouble... I got the option under nova launcher itself in '' look and feel'' section filed under status bar ...
In such situations should I delete the thread or let it be? My reasoning to let it be here is : it might be useful for for someone else who might face such an issue in the future

Thanks bro, I face the same problem and it worked.
I've got a G7+ LM-G710GAW (Hong Kong), and l can't get rid of the sound icon (to the left of the WiFi icon) on the status bar. It changes with the sound mode, but never goes away? Any ideas?
You can try to download System UI Tuner, grant permissions with ADB (no root needed) and see if you can do something, I think there's an option to disable that icon in the statusbar.

Hello friends. I could use some help with hiding the carrier label on the status bar. I've tried Systemui Tuner, Synergy, Complete OneUI, and nothing is working. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me hide the hideous AT&T label by the clock. I'll try any suggestion! Thanks in advance!

Try goodlock app and use quick star within the app and go to visibility of indicator icons. It hides almost all (except the clock on upper left) icons.
Check it out

Quick start will hide the upper left clock. There is a second section after the icons to control clock.

You have complete control over what's looking down on you using these Samsung apps.
Solid black across the top of my homescreen.
Zero issues.
Makes for such a nicer world...
