Does anyone know of a simple desktop widget to toggle Google/gmail sync on and off?

Hi,
Is there a way to check / adjust the Google Calendar sync frequency on the Desire ? My Gmail and contacts are updated when changed, but calendar not directly ..... The checkbox for calendar sync is check, so that is not the problem
I'm interested in finding out how to do this as well...
Do you have Advanced Task Killer running with Auto Kill on? Try turning off auto kill...
Did anybody ever figure out how to do this?
When I delete appointments from my MS Exchange calendar on my PC they are still visible for several hours before being removed from my Desire's calendar.
Is it possible to add an Autosync toggle next to 4G?
how often do Widgets Sync? do they sync every time you view a screen with a particular widget? I know if you disable auto sync they will not automatically sync (ex weather widget).
anyone know how often the calengoo task widget syncs?
thanks
Widgets that aren't tied to the settings/accounts in "Accounts & Sync" will update according to how the app is set up. This means all of your user apps and some of your system apps sync on their own schedule. Most apps have a setting for how often the widget updates. Widgets do drain more battery than not having them, but how much battery they drain depends on their update settings. A widget that is set up to update every 12 hours or more will generally drain less than a widget that's set to update every 15 minutes (like social networking apps).
Check the individual app's settings to configure the duration. If there's not a setting to change how often, you can always contact the developer and ask for the option to be added.

Anyone noticed that in Mail and Exchange there is a option called Smart Sync.
Anyone know how Smart Sync works?
NVM found it:

I use the calendar app from Samsung because that one is optimized for the big screen of the Note II. When I get a notification for an appointment, I get it twice. Once from the Samsung calendar and once from the Google Calendar app. I had to install that last one because otherwise the Samsung calendar app doesn't sync with Google Calendar online.
I want to disable the notifications from the Google Calendar app, so I only get the notification once.
I set the notification in the Samsung app to vibrate and disable notifications in the Google calendar app.
But as soon as I reboot, these settings are reset!
Why is this?
Check again your Google Calendar settings because I've just disabled Notifications in General Settings then rebooted my phone and the option is still unchecked...

Yeah I checked and verified. I suspect it's a conflict between the two apps.
I wish Google Calendar would show the name of the appointment on the month overview, like the Samsung Calendar app does. That's the only thing that keeps me from using the Google Calendar app...
It seems like I'm not the only one:

Bizarrely my situation is the same but different - I want to just use Google Calendar, but after reboot my settings swap to have S Planner notifications on and Google Calendar notifications off. Only workaround so far seems to be to use S Planner, but I prefer Google... Any solution for using Google Calendar greatly appreciated!

I'm note 3 user, the problem just exactly the same as you.
