lg g7 equalizer manual... - LG G7 ThinQ Questions & Answers

good evening. in my lg g7 i have equalizer with premade settings of equalizer. i cannot find the manual settings of frequency. can anyone tell me how can i set manually? thanks

Is this what you're looking for?
It's located in Settings > Sound > Sound Quality and Effects > Equilizer. Then scroll down and select "Custom". From here you can set a value for each frequency displayed in the graph above.

no.... in that page you can set some preimposted value (latin, lounge, vocal, etc...) in all amplifier, even in phone samsung there is a way to set all those value manually and independently (personalized)..... in lg can't do this?
thanks

Scroll down and select Custom. Then you can set the values for each frequency.

i thank you but i haven't custom. the last down is bass...
i have european version firmware with l
Android vers: 8.0.0

Software vers: v10b-EUR-XX

Custom equalizer is unavailable when Quad DAC is enabled.

The custom EQ comes in the latest update with the July security patch.

I confirm that without dac enabled and in lg g7 italian brand tim and in europe nobrand version, the custom amplifier settings are absent. Only preimposted. Can anyone share a screenshot of this option and confirm what version of lg g7 has?

It's in the latest update, g710awm from Mexico Telcel.
It doesn't matter if the quad DAC is enabled or not.

thank you very much. so now we know that the function is not avaible in v10b firmware. i hope a ota soon.......

Sure that custom equilser will be available globally in latest update? , because lg q6 have this feature but in g7 is lacks while its clearly mentioned in lg official web site they have dtsx custom equilser.

HTC 10 Native Call Recording Oreo?

Hi
Sorry if this has been brought op in some other threads but I couldn't find on Oreo firmware. And those I found was with some apps.
First my setup
Leedroid V. 5.00 R125 Oreo 8.0.0
3.16.401.2.9.0
In past "Leedroid tweaks app" releases it was possible to enable native call recording for in and out going calls.
As of now I cant see the option anymore to enable this feature.
Question:
Is there a way to enable this again through a zip file or any other way?
I am not interested in apps like Total recall etc.
Thank you so much for your time
@denizunity I know it's an old thread but after installing the newest official Taiwanese rom with the April 2018 security patch (I was stuck with the December 2017 security patch in the European rom) I discovered there's an option to record calls. The Telephony.apk is probably a bit different than in the European rom.

I know nothing about the G8s, never owned one, but generally speaking, pretty sure changing the firmware is much the same as the G8. There are some no no's, like if you have dual sim to single sim, or vice versa, but you don't say anything about the firmware you're referring to... it might help to know why you want to change, iow, what are you trying to accomplish?
But more than likely, it shouldn't be a problem. I'd suggest first to ask on the tele group for the v50 / G8 devices, they are more international experience there and will be more certain. Cheers
Thank you for a quick answer. My LG G8s is a g810ea version. I won’t to flash g810eaw firmware because the are fresher builds. Newest build for eaw is 30c from 7/2022, when ea 30a is from 12/2021. Also LG Germany declared Android 12 update. Morover I couldn’t find setting for VoWifi and Volte. All firmwares are meant for LG G8s, which is available in 3 versions g810ea, g810eaw and g810ra.

From what I can see on the firmware pages, should be okay. Always keep in mind that ea individual rom has certain bands enabled, so be sure the bands it has will meet your needs.
Also, vowifi and volte are dependent on your carrier, not just the phone. The G8s is capable of both, but if your carrier doesn't allow them then there's no way to make the work. And, some carriers (like US at&t), only allow it to work on their phones - or at least that was the case at one time.
It's always best to flash an 'open' version Rom, if there's one available with the bands you need, and your carrier allows a phone on their network that isn't running their specific rom (usually an mvno type carrier is best).
cheers

Question CN model - 6GHz Wi-Fi 6E?

Does anyone know if the AI2201_A has 6GHz Wi-Fi radio soft or hard disabled?
In China, 6GHz has been reserved for cellular use only. So, they would never need 6GHz Wi-Fi. I had hoped that by having the WW ROM on it, this would restore 6GHz... but it seems more like the radio has been disabled at hardware level.
I'm hoping someone figures out how to re-enable it if it hasn't been burned off the board or something. From various analysis tools, the SoC is all there and the 6GHz radio should be too.
Otherwise, the differences only seem to be RAM and storage. I actually bought it to be my new DAP. I am not a gamer. I was just interested in aptX Lossless codec.
It will load the full WW ROM from asus.com but I suspect that OTA updates do not work. At least, I was not offered the October update when it shipped with July update. I was however able to manually load the full WW October 2022 downloaded from asus.com without using any special procedure. Just the official "place zip file at root level and reboot" and it worked as though it was a proper WW variant.
I suspect the seller has modified the phone at a pre-OS level (as I've read about online) to change the model code from CN to WW. As this hasn't re-enabled the 6GHz radio, I am hoping there is another modification that could be done to enable it. That's assuming it's just some flag somewhere that can be changed, as opposed to an actual cut that prevents the radio from ever working.
It works as it should. I would just like 6GHz Wi-Fi too but it's no big deal. T.I.A.
Have you got it torn down?
We are not sure if the CN version is having the 6G RF and Antenna... That's the key problem, they may just take it away in the CN version, since the GOV doesn't open 6GHz at all
I can’t now be sure it didn’t work. ASUS tech support revealed a mistake in the GT-AXE16000 firmware that failed to allow the Zenfone 9 EU model to see the 6GHz SSID. The current beta firmware for the router resolved the issue. I have since sold my ROG Phone 6 CN model, and can’t test it again.
I should have tried testing the ROG Phone 6 CN model with my Intel AX210 but I didn’t think of that at the time.
