Hi
Sorry if this has been brought op in some other threads but I couldn't find on Oreo firmware. And those I found was with some apps.
First my setup
Leedroid V. 5.00 R125 Oreo 8.0.0
3.16.401.2.9.0
In past "Leedroid tweaks app" releases it was possible to enable native call recording for in and out going calls.
As of now I cant see the option anymore to enable this feature.
Question:
Is there a way to enable this again through a zip file or any other way?
I am not interested in apps like Total recall etc.
Thank you so much for your time
@denizunity I know it's an old thread but after installing the newest official Taiwanese rom with the April 2018 security patch (I was stuck with the December 2017 security patch in the European rom) I discovered there's an option to record calls. The Telephony.apk is probably a bit different than in the European rom.

Hello,
Been waiting for update to Android 7.0 since the news been spread on XperiaBlog and XDA, but still no official release for 1299-6237 (HK Version). Hence, a question arise: Are there additional certifications that apply to HK ROM version that it takes so long for an update, or is there is another reason for it? Also, any idea when to expect the update then? Thanks for help in advance!

you can take the Indonesia or India version... since HK , the last update was .305 / oct2016 ... i am not sure why the stopped pushing for HK
Thanks for reply! I know I can manually flash it, but to be honest, with device like this I cannot be bothered (and frankly not many people do, as pretty much no development going on). I am more reliant on OTA or Companion updates as I do not want to lose my data. Hence it owuld be nice to know if someone would have an explanation for such nonsence really.
I was in the same boat as you. I bought my Z5p dual off of Amazon and received an HK version. I've been waiting for a Nougat update and could wait no longer. I updated using the russian update file and can confim that everything works and no bugs to report. Also no data was lost and my phone language remained in English post update. Should you change your mind...
But to contribute to your question, according to the Experia blog there appears to be a relatively big update coming in April to fix a couple of the Nougat issues with sound some users were reporting. That could be why they halted rollouts again.
Hi,
Im reverting back to the August security patch but i just needed to know one thing first, checking in the software information section on my Galaxy A50 if i scroll down to "Service Provider SW ver." i see XEU/XEU,XEU/XEU, so i downloaded the XEU firmware version for the August Patch from Sam Mobile, but im with O2 as my provider and i noticed on Sam Mobile theres also the same August patch but its O2U instead, im currently downloading that one now too as im unsure which one it is im suppose to use, any help here is appreciated.
Thank You.
I think the best is the free version for your country. I also had problems with the October patch and went back to a better update. You notice the change brutally.
This is killing me, the latest release is awful, really... battery drain, lost performance...
I just acquired a new unlocked Galaxy Note 10+ SM-N975U1 a week ago from the Microsoft Store. I got it working on the T-Mobile network without issues except for firmware upgrades. The device automatically downloaded & installed about 5 upgrades but stopped when showing:
Software update information:
Current version: N975U1UEU3CTC9 / N975U1OYM3CTC9 / N975U1UEU3CTC9
Security patch level: April 1, 2020
From what I can tell, this seems to mean that I am running Android 10, but not OneUI 2.5.
I'd like to flash a later security patch level and get the OneUI 2.5 update. Is SamMobile.com the best place to get the latest firmware? If so, should I choose the latest "USA (T-Mobile (TMB)" option even though this is not a T-Mobile locked device? Or, is there a better option to select?
Thanks in advance.
Hello everyone
I bought an S22 with model number S901U (carrier locked T-mobile) from overseas in Dubai that I received unlocled in someway but was stuck on October 2022 security patch and android 12. It says it is up to date and refuses to find newer versions (no updates detected or pushed).
I manually updated the software to the february security patch and android 13 using sam mobile site and odin.
(I used the CSC that matched the device that was TMB/XAA)
After the update, the software version became ASR/XAA,XAA/XAA.
So the first question, what does this ASR stand for, I couldn't find it in any CSC abbreviations.
Secondly, the TMB is not shown, so does this mean that I will start receiving OTA updates directly from samsung?
(From what I understood, the phone is not receiving updates because it is the carrier locked version that has no connection/relation to the carrier, so will this software version change affect this).
After the update, I didn't detect any faults or problems so far, the device is still carrier unlocked and works fine till now.
Any help in explaining the situation will be much appreciated.
Hi,
Could anyone help me to answer the question IF it is possible to flash stock ROM G990B on G990B2 model, and if so how? I need to get band selection working and with the Samsung toolkit and exploit it is not working as I would like it to be, so my thought was to try and flash it with G990B stock rom with security patch earlier than July 2022. Unfortunately G990B2 has earliest stock ROM I could find with security patch from September 2022, means after Samsung screwed up band selection...
One of my friends has converted his S21fe from G990U to G990U1, but both the firmware's binary versions were same. But for your case, you not only want to convert but also want to downgrade to an earlier firmware version. As mentioned on the Samsung OTA update page (See attachment), I am not sure that's possible anymore.
G990B2 I have on September 2022 ROM. I was thinking of going to G990B September 2022 version as well and than try to downgrade to say June 2022. I know on G990B I am able to go easily from Decemeber 2022 down to April 2022, as I did on few devices already. But this G990B2 version threw another stick under my feet...
