[Q] Need help flashing to stock

I apologise in advance for posting this, as I am aware there is a wealth of information available on this forum - I have looked in most places, but am that confused by the whole thing I almost regret having flashed a custom rom in the first place! I have just taken delivery of a new phone, and to sell my HTC One X i need to return it as close to stock as I possibly can.
What information do you need from me to be able to point me in the right direction? Here is my 'getvar all info'.

Thank you in advance, and I apologise for not having worked it out from the FAQ's et al.
Edit - it would seem the RUU would work if i could get S-Off, going to have to look into how to do that - still appreciate any advice. Thanks
there is no s-off for our device for free...so the best way is to get a nandroid backup for your CID/mainversion and restore it through custom recovery, then flash in fastboot the stock recovery and boot.img of the backup and you can update your phone normally...even no need to relock
and again also for you...NEXT TIME ...please ask in Q&A as this here is not for questions!!...

Hi, szyminindy...
I don't have the technical expertise to help you, but the guys who do, are likely going to ask you to post a...
Code:
fastboot getvar all
...output.
This will provide them with something to help diagnose your problem, and hopefully come up with a solution.
Dont forget to edit out (remove), your IMEI and device SERIAL numbers before posting.
Good luck.
Rgrds,
Ged.
EDIT: ...and which you have now done... :good:
Your bootloader is unlocked? If so, your device is not bricked at all.
Download twrp: https://dl.twrp.me/m8/twrp-2.8.7.0-m8.img.html
fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.7.0-m8.img
Now you have twrp, download some rom(sense,cm,aosp) and flash it.
Maybe someone posted twrp nand and recovery for your cid/mid(so you can get stock 6.0).
EDIT: Actually it's posted
It's on ckpv5's thread, you got lucky, you can easily get your stock 6.0
When you got some working rom(doesnt matter sense/cm/aosp), here is the stock recovery for your cid https://mega.nz/#!P8oHETTQ!0iKB-iZhMlfYKiE1jvBMyZtribJKgV-hf4Zdy2zAiig and stock rom
https://mega.nz/#!X9IjVASb!bNCxQJlDbX40cLHGlmP1qk0SaYfW93lo8jicFv81B-4 Make sure to download both files and follow instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/tutorial-how-to-stock-stock-twrp-t3086860
I hope i helped ya

I can go into recovery mode and download mode also, no further. It was stock but in bootlodaer it says modified. It is locked with S-ON. I really need help. I've tried factory resting it, I cant install anything cause of the locked bootloder and S-ON.

Please don't ask for help for one and the same problem in more than one thread. It's harder to help if there are two places where possible solutions get posted. Not everyone is reading every thread and therefore some solutions might get recommended more than once.
Edit: And here's a link to the other thread where this topic gets discussed.

How to recover files from a "dead NAND" HTC One M9?

Hi,
as far as I've researched this forum my phone has the dead NAND issue. It shows exactly the same problems as described in this thread
Simple question: Is it possible to get access to the latest photo, video files. If so: How?
As the phone is still under warranty it will be replaced early next week and it would be nice to get the latest photo, video of my first grandson before giving the phone away forever.
Thank you very much for any suggestions.
I wonder a little bit that after 50 views nobody has written anything.
Did I do anything false in posting here? Are any important informations missed from my side?

I can only speak for myself but I'm actually reading a lot via my smartphone. Most of the time this means that I don't have the time to post an answer then. I guess the situation of the other viewers is similar.
In regard to your issue: There's nothing you can do. So far, no one reported that he/she was able to recover any data from a dead nand M9.
