It matters at slow down the charging speed at certain % so end result is same as stock charger it charger quickly till about 70% then it slow down compare the charging speed with stock charger 0 To 100 its the same

Does megisk break the ota??
I wanted to say, that rooting the device doenst´t matter...
I have fast chargers everywhere, at home, in my< work, in the car... So i use them. No need to change them...
With redmi note 5 (pro) i don´t have to charge my phone every day, so it is no problem for me, how long the charging-time would be. With my old phone, i had to charge the phone every day, sometimes 2 times a day (to get enough power for the night, to be able to use the clock in the morning for waking me up...)
________
And i don´t know if this breaks the ota. I think yes. But who cares? I have TWRP installed.

You do understand that the phone designed to slowed down charging process after certain % right ? That's just the way it is.
Fast charger normally will charged quickly up to 60-80% then slowing down.

Hello,
I bought a gently used N900T a few days ago. The device is awesome and works perfectly, except for one thing. Charging the phone with the Samsung charging cable+ac adapter takes longer than forever. It charges at a rate of approximately 8-9% per hour.
A few notes:
Device on, device off, it doesn't matter. It charges at the same slow rate.
The battery itself, once it charges, holds that charge very well.
The slow charging happened both when I was on the stock rom and on my current Slim Rom.
I have ordered a new charger and a new battery. If the slow charging persists with these new accessories, am I doomed? Is the slow charging a known issue for the Note 3? Besides the new equipment, does anyone have any advice on how to solve this?
Thanks so much!

I am using a genuine Samsung Note 3 charger. The replacement coming is another genuine Samsung Note 3 charger. I'm sincerely hoping the one I have now has a cable problem or something. I really, really like the phone but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen a similar story or knows of a possible solution in the case that the new charger+battery do not work.

You gonna have to do testing or replace phone. Me I would change kernel just cause it takes 2 seconds. Let it ride a day if no change then a factory refresh. You have checked that no app is killing phone as fast as it charges right?

As weird as this sounds, I tried the charger in a different outlet in my home and it works a lot better. The battery charges quite fast from any level to about 96%, then starts crawling again to 97, 98 and stops at 98. I opened battery calibration, which shows the battery at 96% and 4337mv, which is the same mv level as 100% normally if memory serves me correctly. So I'm thinking the battery is "full", but for some reason won't go to 100% without a fight. Perhaps if I clear my cache+dalvik cache? Any other suggestions?

I'm facing too much battery charging issues on my Samsung Galaxy Note-II N7100. I've checked in application 'Galaxy Charging', the reference voltage is 1698mA and and my phone is just using 700mA - 1200mA. At first it'd start at 1800mA but after couple of mins it start to lowering he input/ output to ~300mA. Do you have any kind of solution on this? It started after update to 4.3. I think it is a bootloader problem, because it start to happen when I update rom to 4.3 on 4.1.2 charging works very well. And one question how much power is actually needed for Note ii in mA's. Pleas help!!!
Probably not bootloader related... but what bootloader are you using now?
Can check all details with Samsung Phone Info from play store.
You should be on Bootloader MJ5 or newer.
Is it an original battery or one you bought somewhere?

The point is it started leaking the charging on update to 4.3, On 4.1.2. it works very well, and if it is not about bootloader what's the issue is about you'd say?

i don't know how much current my phone was getting when on 4.1.2 but on 4.3/4.4 it varies from 1100-1400,so what i do now is when i plug my phone in i check GCC and it shows anything lower than 1300 i unplug replug my charger few times until it shows 1300 or 1400.Charging the phone is kernel related ,not bootloader related.Custom kernels can increase the charging current which enables charging the phone faster but it's not considered healthy for the battery in the long run.I haven't tested this feature cause i am quite happy with battery life on stock kernel,so try my method and report back

well my phone usually charges from 20% to 100% within 2 hours 15 mins or so,and usually in the first one it charges around 40-45% /hour rate and then slows down cause that's how it's programmed so as not to blow the battery up by continuously charging it fast but it seems it charges really really slow for you, wonder if your charger is faulty?
Good morning guys...
I am really impressed with the new pattern that OnePlus has introduced with the OP3, the DashCharger and its improvements over other patterns, as speed and better heat dissipation.
I do not have my OP3 yet, I live in Brazil and things are a little bit harsh here.. but I bought (imported) one and I am just waiting it to arrive.
I saw in many reviews that DashCharge takes about 1 hour to fill the battery and what I want is: you that already have the OP3 on hands, could give us a feedback about other type of charging
and the time it takes? Can you use a normal 5V1A adapter and another one that implements QC2.0 and post here?
I want that because I have 2 units of QC2.0 charger and with the new OP3 I do not intent to get rid of them if the time to full charge isn't too different and buying the special cable/charger for me (and maybe other)
could not be easy/cheap and maybe it does not compensate!
If no one could do that test, I will perform it myself when I get my OP3... till there, if you could help me, I will appreciate!
Thanks for now and sorry about english!
I have the original charger, but i had a Nexus 6P too, and the 6P used QC 3.0. The OnePlus 3 is charging a bit faster than the 3.0. OnePlus charges 3% in ~3minutes, and the 6P was like that. I think you should charge your phone with the original charger, but in fact you could use QC2 charger i think. Hope i helped (Sorry for bad English)
Thanks for reply,
I would like to know how many time does de OnePlus take to charge from 0 to 100% with Original DashCharger, a QC2.0 and a normal charger... if you could tell in minutes (average)
I have the HTC 10 and the OnePlus 3. The OnePlus 3 is drastically faster than the HTC 10 with Q QC 3.0. I remember walking away frm my OP3 for like 10 minutes, it had charged about 20%. In abut 30 minutes it's at 63% and my HTC 10 is at 44%. My OP3 fullyharges in about 72-74 minutes, my HTC 10 is aound 1 hour, 40 minutes.
74 min?

QC3.0/3.0 is also much more heavily affected by heat (and as such, using the device), whereas Dash charging is not since heat is dissipated at the charger itself instead of at the phone.

It doesn't matter, download an app called Ampere and check the intensity, it charges with ~4A for the first ~30 minutes and then lowers down to ~2A.
Conclusion: It charges super fast only first 30 minutes and then it slows down.

I'm very familiar with it. My point is dash/quick charging is purposed for when your phone is near 0 and you're in a hurry, it will get you as much as it can as quick as it can but with lithium ion batteries it's causes too much damage to go all the way to 100%

Well that, and naturally all batteries tend to slow as they charge, not to prevent damage but just the way they work. The reason it's "0-60 in 30 minutes" and not "0-100 in 50 minutes" is that after 60, all modern phone batteries tend to cap off.

I would like to know if we can let our OP3 in charge all the night ?
Battery's performance will not decrease ? Don't affect it ?
Thank you in advance for your answers
i have done it with my OnePlus One for over a year and no issues, i have on this phone and no issues, it has the ability to control the charging so it does not cause issues, some will say every once in awhile let it drain down to atleast 15% every once in awhile and charge full
I knew that it can control itself his charge , but I'm on RR Rom .. dash charge not compatible , so its okay also ?
No problem. Charge it whenever you like for however you like. Don't listen to those that say otherwise. They probably live with myths of 10 years ago

yes, i have been on a custom kernel, so no dash for me either, it does still trickle charge once it hits around 90%, dash was just there to increase charging not to control it, u will be ok
I've always plugged all my phones over night. Samsung S3 > Moto G > Nexus 5 > Oneplus 2. But since I bought OP3 it has changed my charging rituals. I just put it on when required for 30 - 40 mins and it reaches 70 to 80 %.
But yeah since youre on an custom rom overnight charging would be the normal routine. It doesnt harm the battery or anything. Thats one thing thats stopping me to try RR. Once the Dash Charge appears in other roms i will shift and experiment.
we all know that one of the benefits of A70 is it's so called "Super Fast Charging"
well...as super fast as the claim, its super fast in dissapointing as well
TTHE PHONE IS CAPPED AT 15 WATTS ONLY !!!!!
as soon as u charge the phone it jups to 32 watts, so, its not the outlet that have the issue which is decent, then u wait a couple of seconds annnnnnnd....its stuck at below 1000ma with 14.4 watts of power
i dont get it, why the heck it doesnt stick to the 25 watts promise ? am i doing something wrong ?
i am using franko kernel app to measure the watts
From what I gather it will only 'fast charge' when the phone is in standby. I.e. The screen is off and phone not being used ....
But I agree it is a poor fast charge.
My honor note 10 which is a 22w super charge on a 5000mah battery charges way faster even with the screen on and phone being used.
Maybe it's Samsung just being cautious with there batteries.... [emoji848]

well my friend, i doubt it, cause i have rooted my A70 and used ACC (advanced charging control) to completely disable the cooldown thingy to fast charge, well, nothing helped, stuck at 14.4 watts for eternity
i mean...assuming your theory IS true, i tried leaving my phone screen off for 15 minutes, then opened it and checked the wattage from the notification...aaaaaand its still 14.4 watts, i mean, if what you say is true i should probably find it at like 25watts and it drops down 2 sec after i open the screen, but it NEVER reaches this 25 watts thingy, and the ampere app is stuck at 1200 max mAh
I think trying to work this out while running a custom kernel is a fool's errand. We have no idea how charging work with custom kernels yet, so you dont know if it's a kernel problem or a hardware problem. Since you dont seem to have tested this prior to switching the kernel, you have no baseline to compare it to other than what other people who are running official firmware are telling you..So not much help then.
I'll say this though, I checked mine with a power meter and not a software readout: 25w screen off, 10ish screen on. That's below 80% charge, anyway, at which point the consumption drops.
I think my A70 charges pretty fast and I'm okay with how fast it is, no matter the watts.
