No. RT tablets are not powerful enough to run Android emulators

You havent. Windows 8.1 is for x86 processors. Windows RT 8.1 is for ARM. 2 are completely incompatible.
Yeah, even if you had a jailbreak for 8.1, it's (blatantly obviously, to anybody who knows the first thing about CPU instructions sets) not possible. The closest you could come would be installing Win8.1 in an x86 emulator. This is technically possible - for example, you can run Linux in an x86 emulator (built using JavaScript, of all things); http://bellard.org/jslinux - but it's slow as hell and the tablets don't really have enough resources (RAM, etc.) to make it practical even if the speed was great enough to be useful. Oh, and there isn't any jailbreak for 8.1 released yet so far as I know anyhow.
Hello XDA.
I have a question.
Can i use Android Studio on a Surface 2 with Windows RT?
Nothing find on Google
Hope anyone can help me.
Greetings
Until a jailbreak for RT 8.1 is released, you can only run web apps, (some) scripts, software from MS that is specifically for RT (like the debug tools), and store apps. That is it.
Yes, it sucks. No, I don't know why MS crippled their OS into near-uselessness. Yes, we're working on that jailbreak. No, I can't give you an ETA (watch - but don't be a nuisance in, please - the threads in RT D&H).
Hello GoodDayToDie.
Thanks for your answere.
Good to know.
Dear community, I know this was probably requested or asked a million times, but I am having a hard time finding easy to execute or atleast a properly detailed tutorial on how to execute this.
I've bought ASUS TF600TL and it came with Windows 8.1 RT, I am now limited to the few apps and I cannot do much with it, thus I would like to downgrade it to Windows 8.0 RT, which allow me
to jailbreak it and use the hefty amount of already compiled apps.
Would anyone be able to assist me with this? It would be greatly appriciated.

You are not aware of the released-since-a-while RT8.1 jailbreak exploit?
If you guys haven't heart about it: neverware.com
I have already installed it on old laptops. I wonder if I can do the same for the Surface RT? Is it possible through hacking, etc.?

Only if it has support for ARM. We don't even have secure boot unlocked yet, so this isn't even close to possible until then. why don't you work on getting the secure boot unlocked? or work on porting apps to RT 8.1

Windows 10 iot working on Windows RT
I was doing some searching the other day and came across a post on twitter where someone has managed to install Windows 10 iot for the Raspberry PI onto a Windows RT. Not sure if this is old news but, was thinking this could open some doors for progression on a fully working windows 10 rom.

Try the Windows_RT_8.1_Development_Tool_V2.0 you can find it around here
You can factory reset to unpatch your tablet. I used UMCI disable tool from RoL and it worked for me.
