Hi can anyone tell me if there is a prog for the xda2 to stop some numbers calling the phone ????
Have a look at SmartFilter - http://www.novomobile.com/.. Works great, had good support from the developers with some issues I had with my weird provider.
thanks m8

I'm seeing all kinds of stuff out there about full duplex capabilities on the TPII. Does this mean I can finally record all my conversations without having to go to speakerphone?
I would prefer to record all calls to businesses like Time Warner, ATT, Banks, and ESPECIALLY insurance companies....where just the threat of recalling (and playing for the insurance commission) a recorded conversation has yielded very positive results in the past. Neither my Tilt nor Fuze could do it and I'd love to upgrade with this feature in mind.

I´m sure it will
Even my Old Universal support 2 way recording perfect!
I would have assumed my Fuze would have had this feature given the fact that so many other handsets support it - but no dice. Good thing I was given the Fuze as a free replacement for my 3rd replaced Tilt so I will still qualify for upgrade when the TPII comes out.
I would just like to see if anyone can answer this conclusively - maybe I can call HTC and ask? Would they even know how to respond to such an inquiry?

Well....
Give it a try and let us all know!
Sent a support email to HTC...will post the results as soon as I receive a response.
In the meantime - if anybody knows for SURE, please let me know.
I never knew such a feature existed. Way to take the initiative js, I look forward to hearing what HTC says.
Can anyone confirm if there is support for call recording and any apps out there that will do it.
I was hoping to find a away of call recording and attaching it to a calender entry automatically.
Thanks
I'm confirming that the TP2 has 2 way call recording. I just used the notes application while in call and it records both me and the other side of the line.
Is there an application like those available on Symbian phones to automatically record conversations and after the call ask if you want to keep it?
I would suggest Resco Audio Recorder or Vito Audio Notes.
I can confirm TP2 supports 2-Way recording, but you have to make some chenges to the reg to enable it:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\AUDIOGAIN]
"AUDIO_DEBUG_FLAG"=dword:00000040
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL]
"RingingAddressId"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev]
"VocRecPath"=dword:00000002
After this, perform a soft-reset, then you can use any In-Call recording software, like Vito Audio Notes.
This reg hack works on my Touch Pro2 Hong Kong Chinese Version.
Just wondering why you had to do the hack when whtrbt7 reported no issues recording?
Are both sides clear and have level volume? I'm guessing you don't have to use the speaker for this to work right (like I did with my TP and Tilt)?
It might depend on the ROM of your TP2. Mine came with 2 way recording and as I check the registry, it looks like the entries jzhok posted are on there already. Others may have to put the registry edits in for 2-way recording.

The Path or the actual key? You may have to make the key or part of the path if it's not present.

perfect, thanks. Did not knew that pressing OK in notes would take me to another sub menu.
Hello,
Looking on the internet, even on this forum, tells me that there are lots of solutions for this question. But... It seems to be all for the Kaiser. My question:
What is the best 2 way call recording software for the Rhodium, and which work?
Is there any way to record videocalls? Or is this just impossible?
3rd question, nothing to do with the one above:
I've tried to install the Xperia Panel interface on the rhodium. It works fast and responsice, but:
After installing the Media Xperience panel, and I tap on it, it stays on the media picture.
Choosing other panels needs soft reset.
After deleting of the Panel Interface, Manila 3D is *** up. Only Hard Reset works...
Is there any project to make it compatible without damaging TF 3D? So you can use the panels (Media XP for me) when needed, and close it again to use Manila again (or better, use them both).
Thanks for any response
Nobody? Or does the Kaiser software work?

I don't have mine yet, but I seem to recall someone else posting that the built in app notes (I think that's what it's called) would record two way.

that does not work my tp2. the availability of 2way recording is probably rom dependent. (i got a german t-mobile mda vario V)
Solution for you.
To enable 2 way recording just change:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev]
"VocRecPath"=dword:00000002
and you'll be able to record with any software.
If you want to use WM6 native recording (WAW only, on \my documents\notes, manual activation: during a call hit "record" on call menu) create:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\AudioRecording]
"Enabled"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Voice]
"EnableCallRecordMenuItem"=dword:00000001
"AllowInCallRecording"=dword:00000001
Don't forget to turn off (and on again ) the device after you modify/create the keys.
Tested both on my TP2.

I'm sure you'll need a program for that. This Audio Notes Touch seems the best to me. I've tried it, but to date I haven't had a phone that can record both sides

To record all calls download resco audio recorder..Is the best I tried so far.
Allows you to record each call with different audio presets/codecs.

You emphasize to change the VocRecPath DWord in the WaveDev key.
But I don't have a VocRecPath DWord.
Does that mean I have to create the DWord?
(Better safe than sorry )

Sorry, crosspost with my editing: I found that already
But thanx for the reply.
Can you answer my editted question, please?
I emphasized it because I wanted to emphasize that some keys/values are to be created others should be already there (rom dependent).
I don't know why you don't have that value..(compare your rom version with the one on my signature and let us know)
Try creating it, soft reset and see what happen
You should be lucky and everything should work.
You should not damage your phone if you create it
However keep us informed
Creating the DWORD works like a charm.... thanks for the tweak!
When it says dword:00000002, does that mean changing the "Value data" to "2"? Also, do I set the base to binary, decimal, or hexidecimal?
Thanks.
How to access the reg keys in Pro 2
Sorry for asking a dumb question but how in the world one can access the reg edit in TM-TP2?

ok my mates just got a LG GM750 and it must be the worst WM6.5 device ever, i hate it to the core and my mates always having issues and wanting me to solve them, ok i need help on a few things
1) the UI is c*** and i can turn most of it off like the home screen stuff but the other stuff like the weird SMS/EMAIL/MMS theme they added just takes the piss, to send a message u have to navigate though 3-6pages of c*** to open a message or read oen or send one, id like to disable it completely and use the default windows mobile version is their a way
2) is their any LIGHT roms as this rom he has from vodaphone comes with no kiddin approx 100mb of s*** installed by default and its pointless
3) is their any way to add the htc sense ui with the htc messaging to this phone
Mod edit: No need for that language
I don't know about the phone. Probably difficult to disable their stuff. Maybe there are some DLL re-directions in the registry? Try compare anything SMS, Tmail etc. related with another device. Probably you gonna go through few hard resets. maybe it's not even possible since I assume they also got their s**t deep in the OS like HTC, Samsung, etc.
LG != HTC so I doubt it's possible to just cook a new lite (or Sense-UI) ROM.
s***. why did he buy it??????
Maybe you can try and search some freeware applications that provide a replacement for the stuff you want to get rid of, and maybe they're able to overwrite it.
I also bought this phone.. and i really hate it too.. i can't believe i gave so much money for something that is such a piece of cr*p...
if somebody can find how to just make it winmo 6.5 without all the stupid no-good UI on top of it, please tell me..
Relax guys.
The phone is realy good for his money.
The only thing that remains if you disable the lg menu is the sms/mms thing.
This fixes easily with a registry editor.
Here is the fix for lg messaging app:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\SMStext \
LGEUMS.dll --- change DLL to "htmlnote.dll"
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\SI\
LGEUMS.dll --- change DLL to "htmlnote.dll"
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\MMS\
LGEUMS.dll--- change DLL to "htmlnote.dll"
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\MMS\
LGEUMS.dll--- change GlyphDLL to "htmlnote.dll"
The only problem that I have with the device is when on suspended mode.
The Bluetooth is not discoverable and the notifications led does not work. :-(
Anyone with a fix on this?
I believe somewhere in the regisrty exist that power fix...
Does anyone know how to stop the LG notification for new email and SMS? I prefer the original MS notifications.
hklm/software/lge/apps/initapp ... did not test but there u can find "lgenotifi.exe". This exe is the popup from lg. try to remove or rename this and may it stops.
Thanks muchtel, that worked perfectly!
Finally I have a useable device!
My SMS message dates are showing up as GMT. Outlook, clock, calendar etc are all showing local time as they should.
Anyone experienced this?
hi, I still have great problem with this dammed lg software.
I did the registry change. However, when I receive a message, the lg embedded software is automatically activated as the default message receiver to show the new message. What can I do to get rid of it eventually?
Thx

Hi guys!
I'm struggling to like my new GM750. I'd like to disable the caller id skin (so that I can use e.g. S2U2). But If I disable it by modifying HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin\Enabled, the dialer skin is also removed. And I happen to like that one better than the default WM dialer (which lacks video call). Is there a way to only disable the caller ID skin and keep the LG dialer?
The flashing LED while in standby is a feature I loved in my HTC Trinity. There is still no way to fix it in GM750?
Thank you!

Major problem with this fix. MMS messages no longer work!
For those of you who use MMS leave the default values on MsgTypes\IPM\MMS\ (I haven't tested this yet but it should work)

Hi!
Is there any way/hack to enable call recording on Lumia 640 (or any other lumia that isn't 950/950xl)? Still no words if Microsoon will implement it in W10M for other devices.
I think it will not come for existing devices ( non w10 flagship devices)
That's really bad if it stays only for flagships. My job depends on calls recording, I guess I'll switch back to Android...
Who cares about your job ?
550 is hardly a flagship and has it (you must manually select Windows Sound Recorder as associated app in system/phone settings!)
Tried writing 0 to HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Phone/Settings? You can do that by injecting CustomPFD in the "Preview for developers" app!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lumia-950-xl/general/lumia-950xl-mtp-t3304658
Your phone probably has an easier way!
I need the value of PreferedRecordingApplication , from HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Phone/Settings. Someone with a flagship ?
Microsoft.WindowsSoundRecorder_8wekyb3d8bbwe
no option in system/phone setting?
Have you all keys from HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Phone/Settings?
I need to compare with a flagship registry. Who can post those reg?

If only Microsoft would be so logical... I don't think it can be done with a registry trick. Changing TextReplySetting value immediately changes the switch in Settings - System - Phone. Changing recording related values in registry doesn't seem to have any effect. I hope I'm wrong.
Maybe something is needed here too:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\CallAndMessagingEnhancement\
I have only BlockingApp and CallOriginApp subkeys there.
If only a Lumia 550/950 user would be so kind to check these keys ...
Well...inside a lumia 550, 950 ffu file mounted we cant find some registry?
Here is another idea: reset the phone, change model name to Lumia 950 and then update Phone & Recorder from Store. Could it work?
No need to reset the phone... will try.
I guess you have tried call recorder apps.
