I've just got this new slate and ever since was trying to root it. I've done some research online but with my limited knowledge on this area, I couldn't find anything helpful.
Anybody here has been successful with this?? Can you show me how to get it done? Any help would be much appreciated.
Here's some information of the device I figured would be helpful:
Model number: Lenovo TB-7304X
Kernel version: 3.18.35
Build number: TB-7304X_S000027_170922_ROW
Software version: TB-7304X_RF01_170922
CPU: MediaTek MT8735D

I've still been researching since and found some new information. It seems that most Android Nougat devices still can't be rooted. I figure that I will have to wait a bit longer for something to open up
Did you achieve anything?
I tried using KingRoot to root it, but no luck. I doubt we will ever be able to root this device... :/
Up for this, this Tablet is Extremely Slow.... I guess that we could have find a another way how to customize this unit...

Its got Mediatek MT6735M Quad Core 1.3 Ghz.

No its not difficult, they are very easy steps. Unfortunately nothing more simpler can be done when it comes to the steps mentioned in that post.

What you want to know is whether or not it will WORK !! Good Question. Short answer - probably not completely but finding out what doesn't is the first step towards how to figure out the build that will. If you have plenty of good backups, awareness of how to get back to where you started from if it doesn't, and a willingness to hit the button, there is one sure way to find out. None of these sites you mentioned are trustworthy and working. Where did you see that root is being worked on? I post on multiple thread because I figured others on the general android can see more than the specific device thread.
