AKT does not work without root . Also if you have flashed another rom then use root and then install BBS to check whats keep your device awake .

Install batterbatterystats whats keeping device awke and stop wake lock by deleting app or stop other wakelocks using ex kernel manager

[Q] Device / Rom Problem

Hi Guys
I have a Problem whit my Phone. ATM i have RCMIX 2.0 running but this Rom eat my battery in Night from 100% to ~45%. I Read all Treads about long Battery. So i have all things off (Internet, Wlan, GPS, etc...). OK i think NP, flash another Rom. I try 3 Roms (InsertCoin 1.0.8,Ginger Villain 2.6 and Cool AceS) and i have no Lockscreen and no Themes, i can nothing do...
my Device
Desire PVT4 S-OFF Rooted
Wipe ALL! before Falshing (Always)
I hope anyone can help me whit this Problem.
Oh, i Use A2SD Versions.
Peace SDR
Record your desire's battery drain in standby with battery monitor widget for ~8 hours (at best over night, the time when you sleep and cannot touch your phone). If it's over 3-7mA something is wrong.
Already calibrated your battery:
Charge till full when on
Go into recovery and wipe battery stats
Also what u need to do is reboot and check which all processes are running in the background
i had a similar issue with google maps eating my battery in standby
Apps
Very interesting behavior...
I assume you did not install any apps after flashing any of the new ROMs? If it's not the battery, not the ROM and not any of the phone's settings, then it's another app...

It seems that something is leaking. You have some software which is overusing the CPU. I can't remember which version had this problem with the SMS app, it dried my battery in 4-5 hours. I would suggest to upgrade to 2.1.
I had a similar problem after flashing a kernel (kernel only, not rom), after changing it the problem resolved. Upgrading as suggested above may include a new kernel.
Hi. I have only 4 apps installation.
- vr.de
- Vodafone app
- xda
- zeitung
And the stock apps from Rom.
I try later the battery wipe..maybe its help
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA Premium App
So, i bump my thread
In the last day i tested many Roms on my Device and 2/3 Roms eat my Battery in 10h MAX. 1/3 have many Bugs on my Phone (2 clocks on lock, apps dont run etc...) Now im back to the org. Ruu and my Phone still life over 2 Days whit the same Apps, same Settings and Sense.
Q: I use always A2SD coz i dont know what CMr2 brings (other spaces on Device ok)...but why i need it? Oo

You could try Oxygen rom. The battery life is superior, and if you flash the relevant hboot after s-off, you get a huge /data partition, meaning no need for a2sd etc.
Seems to tick the boxes you need, and you can always just restore if you don't like it!
have you calibrated your battery ? Try battery calibration from the market

[Q] S4 Mini (I9190) - Strange Battery Problem

I have been using my I9190 for 6 months. Battery life was going down with original stock rom (I9190XXUAMF7).
I have tried all battery optimisation tips and apps. Nothing helped.
Last week i tried Greenify. Made some settings. It was the first time it had 36 hours standby time with medium usage.
Then i have installed newer official rom (I9190XXUBNA1), made all greenify settings and bought new original samsung battery (1900 mAh).
But standby time was (with no usage) 18 - 20 hours. I tried old battery again, it was 16 - 18 hours.
I tried 2 more original samsung battery (19000 mAh). Unfortunately same bad result
I formatted everything again and again. Reinstalled rom. Wipe data cache, wipe dalvic cache, format system - data etc..
recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.6, recovery-clockwork-6.0.3.7-serrano3gxx.tar, philz_touch_6.12.8-serrano3gxx.tar
Odin3 v3.04, Odin3 v3.07, Odin3 v3.09
I formatted external sd card. I removed it...
No improvement...
I do not think that it is a hardware problem. Because - 1 week ago - old dead battery had 36 hours standby time with medium use..
Any recommendation?
Thanks in advanced

New battery require couple of full charge before it can reaches it maximum efficiency. Different type of custom recovery won't change or affect your battery. Optimization and greenify can only do so much as well.
The power heavy drain problem from day one of S4 mini is the kernel's default profile for CPU governor. So, if you want to stay with the TW rom, you may alternatively use a custom kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2545244 and change the CPU governor. Any other method is just treating the symptom but not cure the root.
Note if you haven't tripped knox already (if you have knox), flashing a custom kernel will.

Thanks for your message.
I installed the same system, same apps, same optimization methods, greenify with same settings. Everything is same.
My phone was rooted. And it is rooted now, too.
Nothing changed.
I have installed setcpu, one hour ago. I will try it for 24 hours. I hope it will help.
Thanks again
Any other help?
Hi again
I have showed my s4 mini to samsung service.
They told me that there is no hardware problem.
Problem is software.
I have tried two more batteries.
The last one is zero lemon 5100 mAh.
But nothing changes.
I have tried carbon, cm, slimkat, mokee, stock rom, two more roms...
Battery drains too fast.
Sometimes while percentage is 75 %, i restart phone, it becomes 81 % or 69 %
Sometimes while percentage is 75 %, i enter recovery mode, it shows 85 %
Any help please
Have you tried flashing the custom kernel as mentioned before?
Redflag rom has vikinger kernel
It is my current rom
any help?

Battery issues

Hello, I've switched ROMs from lollipop back to KK ROM. Its not stock, its cm 11. 4.4.4. I flashed the madmack modem. But my battery life has still been horrible since leaving lollipop. Is there anything I can do to get it like it used to be?
What is used to be like? What ROM were you using? It is recommended to flash into custom ROM while begin with the stock jb ROM, if you want the best battery life.
Go to apps from.the settings and from there see what applications are running and try to close (force stop) every application that u dont need and i think it will solve ur issue
Or just install an app like greenify. I'm with you on the battery issue. Even though my service is getting the deep sleep, I'm still need to swap a new battery every 3 - 4 hours, and that's with normal use, keep the screen on most of time. I think it's just our phone, the 5.5" HD screen just ducks up all the juice.

Check with some battery stats software, but it's 101% problem with SystemServiceUpdate. KK CM11 isn't patched for that.
If that appears to be the problem, go to privacy manager and disable wakeup for Google Play Services and Google Play Framework/Google Services Framework, reboot your phone and wait.

Thanks for the help, But the problem is I want my phone to be up to date so i didn't root it, Is there any other way other than rooting? Or is it possible to keep my phone up to date with root? I am looking for android N update. Thanks for the help.
There is no option it seems ...but you u can keep it up to date by Flashing stock rom file with prerooted option..I am also on the stock version but I flashed it through twrp...i will post the links....
And you can avoid the low resolution of camera In the higher versions by Flashing the zip of Google camera..
