Battery issues - LG Optimus G Pro

Hello, I've switched ROMs from lollipop back to KK ROM. Its not stock, its cm 11. 4.4.4. I flashed the madmack modem. But my battery life has still been horrible since leaving lollipop. Is there anything I can do to get it like it used to be?

What is used to be like? What ROM were you using? It is recommended to flash into custom ROM while begin with the stock jb ROM, if you want the best battery life.

Go to apps from.the settings and from there see what applications are running and try to close (force stop) every application that u dont need and i think it will solve ur issue

Or just install an app like greenify. I'm with you on the battery issue. Even though my service is getting the deep sleep, I'm still need to swap a new battery every 3 - 4 hours, and that's with normal use, keep the screen on most of time. I think it's just our phone, the 5.5" HD screen just ducks up all the juice.

Check with some battery stats software, but it's 101% problem with SystemServiceUpdate. KK CM11 isn't patched for that.
If that appears to be the problem, go to privacy manager and disable wakeup for Google Play Services and Google Play Framework/Google Services Framework, reboot your phone and wait.

serious battery drain issues, cant find answers

hey guys,
i have looked everywhere, especially here, and couldn't find a solution.
i have recently upgraded to LeeDroid, and since then i am experiencing battery drain issues. here is the list of the things i tried:
re flashed after complete WIPE (with the .zip file)
re flashed after complete WIPE without restoring from backup
calibrated the battery
worked with current widget - keep seeing 40mA and above even during the night ?!?
worked with Spare Parts - keep getting FC when trying to view battery information
i have the matching Radio and RIL!
when i check the battery usage in the settings menu, i see that phone calls are just behund display
try to change the network type from WCDMA prefered to GSM/CDMA (PRL) kept getting 3G but no improvement on battery life
'where is my droid power' shows the phone at the top with 7.19% sometines its HTC Sense with ~5%
please please tell me what i need to do? i find it hard to believe that a custom ROM takes more battery then the stock ROM, i mean - whats the point?!?
highly appreciate it!!
Roy.
Is this battery drain showing even before restoring your apps (or any data)? If so, try a different rom but it's possible the battery is on it's way out.
well, to be honest i haven't tried flashing and installing the apps one one of thats what you mean...
battery out? meaning dying? i bought the damn thing brand new 2 months ago, when i was on stock Froyo - was perfect...
p.s. i havent restored the apps from backup - manually installed one by one...
Install the rom and don't install any apps, and see what your drain is like. If it's fine, install apps one by one and see if any problems arrive.
If straight away the battery is bad try some different roms (with the correct radio - very important) and try a stock (but rooted) rom.
If it was fine on froyo and has only arisen since installing a custom rom the battery itself is probably fine then.
yeah i guess that the only way to be sure... to install one by one...
ok man, thanks a lot!!! i was also wondering if there is an app i havent tried yet that maybe can pinpoint me to the source of the problem...

[Q] Phone freezes when not awake (stock and custom rom)

Hi,
since a few weeks i've got a big problem, my phone freezes to the point where I have to hold the power button to restart it. this started happening when I was on Jellykat v6.7 but still persists after flashing stock rom.
Info:
Flashed latest bootloader
Problem persists on Jellykat and stock, with multiple and stock kernel.
Problem does not occur when running spotify in the background.
Right now I'm running stock rom (4.4.2 from sammy, flashed via odin) with stock kernel and latest bootloader.
When I restart it and check my battery stats I can see my wifi was still working when my phone did not respond, thus the device was on and I was recieving messages while the decive was not awake.
Weird thing is that it works properly when I let spotify play in the background, meaning it doesn't go into deep sleep (I think).:silly:
Right now my device works fine, but only because I have spotify playing the background 24/7 which isn't ideal in terms of battery life and such.
Any thoughts on it?
Thanks in advance!
Still no one? I guess i'll have to survive till I get the note 4 :silly:
Same here
Same thing happened to me when I was on stock rom.. sometimes it froze sometimes it didn't.. (Without spotify)...
Now changed to custom rom... havent faced such issues since then (last one month..not much)

Battery Calibration Error!

Hello, my name is Josh and I just got done installing the Hyperdrive ROM on my T-Mobile note 3 SM-N900T. I did as the instructions said to do as always and the ROM seems to be not only running well, but way faster and way better looking than my old Wicked ROM. The only issue seems to be that I cannot calibrate the battery. When I try Battery Calibration, no matter what app, it says it cannot locate the "battstats.bin" file. So my readout stays at 100% until the phone dies. What should I do?

Charge your phone all the way up, unplug the phone and dial *#0228# run the calibration and charge the phone again till the stat matches your battery reading.

Hey man thanks alot that worked great! However I am now having second thoughts on the ROM alltogether. It wont let me use PIN for my lockscreen, it just freezes the phone and then it hot reboots. Then there is the matter of the fact half of the features it states it can do arent actually working. The OverClocking for instance resets on every reboot, the wake by guesture features dont work, and there are some other annoying faults as well. I am actually thinking of trying out the PAC Man ROM. Do you have an opinion on this ROM? I would also like to install the ZION Kernel for it but have no idea how to do custom Kernels other than when they are included in a AROMA install package.
What Rom are you currently using?
I dont know much about pac Rom i use Tweaked 3.9 and it works perfectly.
Well I got my Hyperdrive ROM running correctly. It turns out it was because my phone's baseband had not been updated to the N9 update, so I had to unroot, flash back to stock, update, then try again. It all seems to be working so much better. The only issue now is the Viper4 Android sound mod doesnt seem to work. Ive tried the "force v4a", compatibility mode, and now Ive removed the stock music fx app with a system app remover and it still doesnt work.

Thatd be a good question for this thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2745602

Need help, phone overheating too much, crashing. (using android revolution hd 12)

Ever since I've installed the rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3068820) my phone has been overheating on semi-long periods of use, or playing youtube or gaming. (sub 5-7 minutes). I don't know what causes it, also the phone freezes sometimes on Chrome/Whatsapp. I don't know whats causing any of these but I'd love to have them fixed, don't know how though.
The reason I switched to the ARHD12 was the sense toolbox, i really want to customize my phone but that doesn't work either since xposed frimware, the latest version for my phone says corrupt zip whenever i try to flash it. flashing to nandroid backups also soft-bricks the phone, sadly.
If it's possible, I'd like to just revert to the stock version of the phone that didnt overheat, and or a nice customizable rom that doesnt heat ): (viperonem9=softbrick, idk why ;-
Best Regards.

How can I completely restore my phone and reflash latest miui with all the firmware drivers?

I'm absolutely losing my mind please help
A little story time, skip to the end for my question;
So, how to start - One day I unlocked my bootloader, went for some android 11 rom and all was fine. Then android 12 was released and I downloaded the crdroid 12 rom, where I was experiencing some battery drain issues. So I downloaded pixel experience rom. The Bluetooth died because of this rom's cursed source code. I flashed the latest miui fastboot rom and the Bluetooth issue still persisted (remember this for later - not all the drivers flash with the Rom). I fixed the Bluetooth issue by switching several miui roms, also made a guide if you're interested. That fixed the Bluetooth issue and I went for pixel plus ui rom. It was a bit laggy, so I switched to the shiny new Evolution X rom. It was amazing, so much stuff co customize, etc. Well, i experienced another battery drain issues, so I just went for the stock miui with magisk pixelify module. Im pretty fine with this rom, and I thought the problems are gone, because it stock and everything should be fine. Well no. The battery drain issue persists. I was wondering what even is happening, so I opened battery settings. That said that the top apps wasting my battery is screen, Google services and android system. I downloaded a CPU usage stats app, which showed me that the cpu usage is at 99% (I think it's correct as the phone is overheating). The app with most cpu usage was using only 1%. I don't know if this is a firmware bug or whatever, but I think some rom broke it and the latest stock miui didn't overwrite that driver, as written above with the Bluetooth issue.
So, how can I make my phone be as it was released from xiaomi with all the drivers to actually use the hardware correctly?
Thanks in advance for any replies, I'm seriously going to throw my phone out of the window
Also the way how I install the stock Rom is by downloading the latest fastboot rom, extracting it and executing ./flash_all.sh file.
SOLVED! My problem was because of my credit card. I have my cc in the phone case. The cpu was going insane because it was constantly detecting the card and loading info from it. Literally turning off NFC fixed this whole issue. Bruh.
